I have been using Clark's Termite service for over (3) years. In the fall of 2022 I turned off my irrigation system for the winter. I also had a hot tub installed which required my removing the terminate stake that Clark's puts in the ground. When Clark's came out fr the annual terminate inspection, the put the termite stake back in the ground in a different spot. Several weeks ago, I turned the irrigation system back on and saw water coming up and out of the termite stake. The irrigation for that side of the house and areas in the back of the house did not work. I brought in my landscaper who found that the termite stake was driven through (3) of the irrigation pipes. The landscaper had to dig up the termite stake, irrigation pipes, and repair. The cost for this was $300. I have reached out to Clark's on (4) different occasions and I'm told each time that someone will be in touch regarding this issue. To date, I still have not received a phone call in regards. I believe that I should be reimbursed the $300 I had to pay the landscaper to fix the irrigation pipes that were damaged by the Clark's employee.

Dear Better Business Bureau, I am writing to file a complaint against Clarks Termite & Pest Control, for account 10157861, regarding a dispute over their refusal to allow me to cancel a scheduled termite renewal service. Despite my request to cancel the service, which was made 24 days before the scheduled date, Clarks Termite & Pest Control has insisted on continuing with the service, claiming that I have signed a contract for renewal. I would like to clarify that I have never signed a contract for renewal with Clarks Termite & Pest Control. Furthermore, I have not received any service from them in the past year since I purchased the termite bond. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company to have the bond serviced, no action has been taken to fulfill their obligation under the bond agreement. I am extremely disappointed with how Clarks Termite & Pest Control handled this situation. Not only have they failed to provide the service they promised, but they have also refused to allow me to cancel a service I did not contractually agree to. I request that the company immediately cancel the scheduled service and refund any charges to my account. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Timothy Parker

I have been using Clark's since my contractor recommended them on completion of my home in 2018. I have had an annual termite plan with them since then. In the past they would bill me, I would send payment, when they received payment they would call and set up a date and time for someone to be here for inspection. I have not had any issues until this year. I received my renewal notice on 2/1/2023 for $195.00, so as in the past I sent payment on the same day. Then on 2/3/2023, a tech shows up without setting up appointment, but fortunately I was at home. He came in, went through the house, taking pictures with his phone saying he needed documentation. He then went around the house doing his inspection with me following him. He said everything was in order and found no problems. He did not ask for my signature on any document. Then in March 2023 I received an email that I owed an additional $54.00 due to an increase on annual inspections. I called customer service and was told since I wasn't notified in advance and my payment had already cleared my bank, the $54.00 would be waived, and the increase would take affect for the 2024 renewal. But, since then I continue to get emails, almost every day telling me that I have a past due balance of $54.00. I plan to call customer service again, but I feel like they are scamming myself and others by this underhanded business practice. If this is not immediately resolved I will take further steps to insure that I will never be taken advantage of by this company again.

I noticed I started getting spam emails about them trying to charge me for a renewal, but that they were declined due to being an old card. I called them on 16 MAR to tell them I no longer wanted their services and not to renew it when my year was up. I was speaking to a lady named Crystal, she said I needed to send her an email as written proof to cancel. So I sent the email right after I got off the phone. On 17 MAR I get an email saying I still have to pay for a balance due because I didn’t give 30 days notice. They only wanted to highlight the wording that mattered to them, ignoring the part that said it would be my responsibility to pay for any services rendered. Well there hasn’t been any services rendered because I’m still under the initial year that was paid for. So I called them back and told them this. This time I spoke to a Taylor? This time I was smart enough to record the conversation. She told me a supervisor has to override it and they have to get their equipment, but that the charge would be dropped. Fast forward to the same afternoon and here they are still trying to charge my card. This company is a scam that preys on people. I just want them to cancel my service (that wasn’t good anyways), zero out the balance, and close the account for good.

I had been a customer for 16 years with Clark’s Termite Pest Control and no longer wanted to continue the service. After I discovered they were not spraying to prevent termites, I decided to cancel. In April 2022, I received a call from the customer service rep to schedule my annual inspection. I made it clear that I no longer wanted to continue the service and if the annual inspection will cause me to renew the contract I did not want it. The rep gave me the impression that the annual inspection was covered and the appointment was made. I received two bills in June and spoke to two different people and told them I was not renewing the termite bond contract. I spoke to several people trying to cancel the service. To my surprise, I received an email from Kayla in the billing department January 2023 with a statement attached informing me that I owe $110.00. It stated that the bond and contract have been canceled and I still owe the money. I don’t understand why after speaking with several reps, that I am being charged for a service I tried to cancel in April 2022.

I am a customer of Clarks termite since 2019, they provided termite control for the home and yearly termite spraying and inspection. They usually send an email and schedule inspection to be done. For 2022 I was not notified of anything. Just received an email on 8/5/22 that some one came to my home and provided inspection. I was not home and they do not have permission to enter property without home owner approval. No inspections were done since i was not physically present. I have no idea or proof that they provided this inspection. They charged me for renewal fees of $195. I called Clarks and spoke with them about this and told them I would like to cancel their service since they are complete scam. They keep sending me bills for service which they didn't provide. I have email conversation from Jennifer Williams 9/9/22, Crystal ******** 11/7/22. I have informed them both I like to cancel the service because i am extremely disappointed with the company. I am not paying for something I didn't receive. Again 1/5/23 I got email statement for a bill. I called and spoke with them on 1/5/23 that i am not paying for a false service which they didn't provide. The girl i spoke said manager will get back to you and hang up. I would like Clarks termite to cancel the service and the charges as of now to resolve this issue.

I hired Clark's for my termite renewal at our home. They invoiced me for the services and I paid for the services on October 12, 2022 with my debit card. A couple of months later, they sent me an invoice stating the charges were past due. They followed up with a phone call and I explained to the employee that the charges were paid on October 12th with my debit card. She asked that I send them a copy of our statement showing that it was paid. I emailed that information to [email protected]. Later that evening I received an email stating that the charges were past due and my account was on hold. I contacted the office again and they said they would have to take a message for the billing department and someone would have to return my call. No one returned my call so I emailed the billing department a copy of my statement showing that the invoice had been paid. I followed up the following day and again was told someone would have to return my call. It has been a week since my last call with Clark's and still no one has returned my call. I have attached a copy of the statement showing that this bill was paid on October 12, 2022. I simply want Clark's to resolve this issue and communicate with me that it has been resolved.

I purchased a Termite Bond from Clark's Termite and Pest Control. During 2021, we found evidence of termite damage in my garage. Clark's termite and pest control came out to the house and treated for the termites and since there was a leak from the roof, we agreed that Clark's would reimburse me 1/2 the repair bills. (This was agreed to as some damage was from water and some damage was from termites.) Clarks will not reimburse me as agreed, does not return my calls or e-mails and is not performing in accordance with our agreement. Clarks owed me $2,350 for 1/2 the repairs. The have sent me $1100, but will not respond to the remaining $1250 due to me from them.

On 9/14/2022 I contracted to have Sentricon System installed and have been with Clarks Pest Control since 3/2018. At this time I paid $450. I had 811 service come before install to mark necessary utiliites. 5 mins into install technician drilled through our irrigation system and damaged 4 lines. We heard from the area manager Nicholas who said we could obtain an estimate from our irrigation contact and send to him ...or he would possibly send someone from Clarks to fix. He chose the latter. We had in the meantime turned off the system for a week waiting for them to come. That following week 2 gentleman came and did not have the right tools (which I had to borrow from a neighbor) and later had to go to Lowe's because after uncovering the area they did not have the right size pipes. When complete I asked them to run through our zones to make sure everything was working and they said yes. They left but my Zone 1 was still on after 1 and 1/2 hrs so we tried to turn off but it would not stop the flow. We had to turn off irrigation system again . We contacted ******** who asked if they completed the job and I said it seemed so but explained the system was working before this install and so it was must have been something they did to cause this new problem. He said Clark's had no fault in the matter and refused to help further. I contacted our Irrigation company and there was debris in the lines from Clark's techinician fix which caused the zones valves not to close. He repaired and replaced 3 of the lines and cleaned the system out at a cost of $325 to us. Proof upon request. We are extremely surprised at the lack of responsibility as we have been a loyal customer since we moved to the area. We are hoping reporting this issue will result in Clark's compensating us for something they caused in the first place and restore our faith in the company.

I've had my pest control contract with this company for several years, almost 20. On Monday, November 7, 2022, the technician came to my house to complete my quarterly service. He arrived, and looked around the house, and left without providing treatment. He then submitted a fraudulent report with details about amounts of product he applied, which is just a lie. The company charged me for the quarterly service based on his unethical actions and fraudulent report. My Ring camera footage documents all of this. I have contacted them by phone, by text, and by email with no response.
