3/27/24 - 3/29/24 Son was committed to facility via involuntary court order. He was forced to remove his clothing (including underwear) and was forced to wear another patients underwear. He was given medication without any assessment from that facility. As of 5:00pm on 3/29/24, my son still had not been assessed or relayed any information regarding the duration of his stay at the facility. He and we were given conflicting information regarding the entire process. The entire ordeal and the employees/staff at the hospital only exacerbated the problems and frustrated our son and my family. No one at the hospital returned calls or responded to voicemails left. They were all unprofessional, rude and had zero empathy. My son was not able to shower properly because he said that the shower kept shutting of. He could not eat the food because it did not taste good to him. He was restless because he do not have anything to do. The staff confiscated his mens devotional bible, as well. This facility should no be allowed to house young adults for lack of recreational activities. Almost every employee of the facility seemed incompetent.
