After scouring all the furniture stores in the **/** coastal area we found *** the BEST! ********************* helped decorate *******, family room and Carolina Room in our new home. OUTSTANDING decorating skills. Shes so great at color coordination and blended the rooms so beautifully.I interviewed other furniture store and had decorators come to our home. With ****, you could see her wheels turning as she walked through our home. We couldnt be more pleased! This review is with regards to the ************ NMB location. I have been shopping with *** over the past 6 months to furnish our home in ************ and have worked with ***** for every transaction. ***** has been absolutely incredible through the entire process and he is to be lauded for his terrific service. He has worked with me to find pieces that worked for our time frame as well as in parts of the house where we wanted to be budget conscious. He has come to our home several times to measure to make sure pieces will fit in the space and with the layout. ***** always sent several options for each piece and gave me the best advice along the way! He also has a terrific eye for design, my house looks straight from a magazine thanks to him! Naturally, when buying a whole house of furniture, there have been a couple dings, holes, and issues along the way. ***** was always quick to ensure the issues were forwarded to the repair department and would follow up with me. The repair team was also great to work with as well and would work with my schedule to complete the repairs as soon as possible. The delivery guys were the icing on the cake, always speedy, clean, and pleasant.*** and particularly ***** has been such an asset and I am so grateful that I found *****! While not J&Ks fault do not waste your money on a pricy mattress. Bought one there 3 years ago. 10 year warranty. Not cheap. Springs collapsed. Not covered because the mattress has a small stain. What a small stain has to do with poor construction is beyond me. But it is how they wiggle out of the warranty. Buy cheap and replace as needed. Do not count on a warranty. Mattresses will stain. I am disappointed that you have chosen to post a negative review on the Better Business Bureau when you acknowledge it was not J&K Home Furnishings fault. We cherish our great reputation at K&K Home Furnishings. I have reviewed the photograph and their is a urine stain covering the middle of the mattress to almost the foot of the bed.This is a huge stain. All mattress manufactures warranties are voided if the mattress is stained. This is why we beg our customers to purchase a mattress protector which would have prevented this urine stain. If it did for any reason the mattress protection company would replace the mattress. I worked for Sealy Mattress for 22 Years and I know exactly what I am stating is true. We have a great reputation for helping our customers and I do feel bad for you. You paid $508.33 for a queen size mattress and have used it for 2 years and 4 months. I would offer the following credit of 77% of the $ 508.33 which is$ 391.41. This is discounted for the 28 months of use. I would also comment is not pricey mattress. Having the proper back support on a product you spend a third of your back on is an investment in your health.
You have $ 391.41 towards the replacement of the stained mattress.
Delivery Charge for the the new mattress.
Please never purchase a mattress without a mattress protector to avoid this in the future. Please buy mattress protector for any other mattresses you own that are unprotected.
As you know we are not obligated to do anything but I want you to be happy. We do appreciate your business and I hope you find this agreement acceptable.

I was mislead in my purchase of an over six thousand dollar Hudson media cabinet. When I was in the store looking for the "one", I was informed that it would be 10 to 14 months before it would arrive. I didn't have an issue with that thinking I found what I have been in search of. I was then informed after the salesperson, Laura, spoke to the manager of the J&K Home Furnishings in Little River that this unit was preordered and would be arriving within 3 to 4 weeks from the manufacturer and not destined for anyone in particular, I was ecstatic with the news and also purchased a couple of rugs, 2 chairside tables and an ottoman to complete my great room at a total of over 11 thousand dollars. When she gave me my paperwork, I questioned the word "Stock" on it and was told it was listed as such because the unit was destined to a store for display. A couple of weeks has gone by and I received a call from Laura stating that she didn't charge me correctly for one of the rugs and if I was still interested in it I would have to pay another $800.00 for it, I cancelled that particular rug instead. A few more days passed and I received a call to schedule the media cabinet delivery. Only after both sections were in my home did I start to see red flags about the unit. The remote that runs the 4 LED lights had a dead battery, I just happened to have one to replace it to make sure the lights worked. When the delivery people left I noticed how dusty and grungy the unit actually was, this did not just come from the manufacturer but was in a showroom for at least 6-12 months judging from the amount of dirt that was on it. I would have NEVER purchased this unit knowing what I do now. What I received is what I would have expected if I went to a second hand furniture store and not what I was told I would be receiving. This was my second large purchase from J&K. I didn't have any issues with the dining room set from another one of their stores.J & K Home Furnishings / Mattress ZZZS Response

We apologize for the misunderstanding on the issues you have placed with the Better Business Bureau.
I would like to address each issue separately so that there is no misunderstanding on either part of your statement.
The Hudson media cabinet manufactured by Bramble item # 65768 was pre-sold to another client on February 14th and was assigned to an incoming shipment. Mr. ********** order was placed on March 9th. The issue was timing from when the sale was made to the arrival of the container into port and delivery to our distribution center. When we discovered that we had another unit in our Charleston warehouse we had a conversation about reassigning the unit in the container shipment coming in too Mr. ******* and reassigning the previous sale to the new unit in the Charleston warehouse. Mr. ******* accepted either option.
The Container arrived on March 10th so original assigned media unit was reserved for the client who placed the order on February 14th.
The new media cabinet that was in Charleston warehouse was never prepped for showroom set up and unfortunately not prepped at time of delivery it was never a used product. Attached is a copy of the ocean freight invoice that ties the media cabinet to our original
purchase order. The container was received into port on October 21st, 2021 and received at our distribution center on October 29th , 2021. Attached is a copy of the daily receiving report for October 29th, 2021. Item #65768 is highlighted were we received two of these units. One media cabinet #65768 was transferred to our Charleston location and was ordinally planned to be placed on the showroom floor but was never displayed .The other unit is on display in the Little River showroom.
J&K does claim responsibility for the media unit not being prepped for delivery and any inconvenience that this caused the client.
The word "STOCK" is designated for our program of items that we try to keep either on hand or on order for a shortened delivery time frame.
In regard to the rug issue. The original rug request was for a 5'X7' and was quoted correctly at $1179.00. The rug size changed to a 6'7"X9'6" which is listed on the sales order. The designer called the client and discussed her mistake because the cost outweighed the selling price of the original size. The designer offered a discount from the true sales price of over $2100.00 to $1900.00 for a $721.00 difference. It was a honest human mistake and not misleading by any means.
As a professional courtesy for the misunderstanding of the above issue. J&K will offer the mispriced rug at the original 5'X7' price.
