Upon notification of the complaint the account history was reviewed against the allegations. *** contacted the creditor, and they responded that the consumer had paid the balance in full and therefore does not have a balance to validate. WFI has provided an electronic close request to Equifax on 5/15/2024 to remove the previously reported information. I am not liable for this debt as I have not signed a contract or have any debts owed to the original creditor because they have taken my federal grants and loans to pay for this. I am requesting that this information be removed from my credit report as I have already paid.Business Response

I am being harassed with numerous phone calls multiple times a day on multiple devices including my place of employment. This company has contacted numerous branches in attempt to reach me at the parent/financial corporation. They have claimed to be customers, and contacted at least 3 different branches that I am aware of. They have left detailed messages of a debt on my monitored work line. This company under no circumstances may contact my place of employment. If a legitimate debt is being pursued, I may only be contacted by mail to my home address.Business Response

I received a call from a representative today on 4/30/24 from Williams and Fudge about two alleged school debts. The representative started off nice until I told him that I dont trust giving card or account numbers over the phone due to scams. He proceeded to tell me that they are safer than buying things off of Amazon. I then told him I wont give him my card or account number and then he proceeded to tell me that calling me is pointless. I told him he was being rude and that if he needed to send me correspondence online or something more reputable. He said he wasnt rude and I can just let the debt sit on my credit and hung up the phone. I would like verification of debt sent to me.Business Response

I enrolled in *********************************. Shortly thereafter I withdraw from the class within the allotted time. I was told since I had done what was necessary to successfully withdraw I would not owe anything. Williams and Fudge claims I owe them money. I do not have a contractual obligation with them. When asked to provide me with an original written contract they have not complied with my request. I'd like to resolve this because I do not owe them anything.Business Response

I entered into a payment arrangement witg W&F, was sent an email to notify them in writting or verbal, at least 1 business day before the *** would come out of my account if I couldn't make the payment. I tried calling 3 times on Friday. Also emailed them, no response. Payment was set up for the 31st but if dates of payments would land on a weekend, it would be the following business day. Checked my account and it's now in the negative as of 4/2/2024 because they took the payment when I told them I wouldn't have the money in the email. Going off the date the payment posted to my account, I gave them more than 24 hours and they didn't honor their end of the deal on it.Business Response
