I retained Michael Brown as my attorney. So I thought I did. When I went to two different court dates I was made aware that I was not represented by any attorney by the court. I made multiple payments totaling $2100. When I brought this to Michael’s attention he stated he did his job and I owed him another $1500 and needed to meet him on Friday November 5th 2021 with that payment to solve my case. I was summoned to court on October 29th set to appear in court on November 1st 2021. I contacted Michael to see if he was going to appear in court and his answer was that he was not needed because I was not going to see a judge that day. When I went to court November 1st the prosecutor let me know that I was not represented by an attorney and gave me documentation for that. I reached out to Michael regarding that and asking for a refund because I gave him money for no reason and he never did his part. He stated he would not be providing a refund because he did his part. I have documentation to prove I was not represented and I also have all my receipts. I have not received any response from Michael at all. I made payments on the following dates 6/11/2021- 400 7/9/2021- 400 7/20/2021- 200 8/13/2021- 1000 9/24/2021- 100 10/29/2021 there was a request for 1500 to be paid on 11/5/2021
