    My furniture was in excellent condition before I stored it in this "climate -controlled" facility; My furniture became terribly damaged after storing it at this facility. When I contacted this company in an attempt to rectify the situation and for compensation for the damages, they took months to get back to me; I had to call several times and leave several messages. When I was finally given a call back, it was from the regional manager, Tammy J, who responded by telling me she would look into the situation and then call me back. Tammy J, the regional manager for SIGMA Drive Self Storage, never did give me a call back; instead, I received a letter telling me to vacate the premises. Additionally, the company offered no resolution or compensation for the damages that occurred to my furniture due to their lack of keeping the facility climate properly controlled.

    The property supervisor has reached out to Ms. ****** regarding this situation. After reviewing pictures, speaking with the onsite team, and reviewing thermostats and climate-control features, the Sigma Drive property is unable to take responsibility for the mold in unit 1017. Records of the thermostats show that temperatures have remained constant (no colder than 55 degrees in the winter and no warmer than 80 degrees in the summer). All humidity gauges were reviewed and readings indicate that the building humidity levels never exceeded mold-prevention thresholds. Other customers with units surrounding unit 1017 and in Ms. ********* building were interviewed and none had mold on their belongings or in their units. Ms. ****** moved her belongings in on a day when it was raining, and it is safely assumed that the moisture that caused mold on her furnishings was the result of the rain dampening her belongings.
    Out of good faith, our property has offered a rental credit for the month of June. Ms. ****** was asked to vacate her unit before end of business day on 7/22/2022 to receive that credit. Ms. ****** vacated her unit before the deadline and the credits were issued to her.
