    I hired this company on 04/9/23 to unclog downstairs toilet. Plumber performed work on outside stating that is where problem was originating. Plumber ran a camera thru back water valve pipe and stated that there were flushable wipes and grease in line. Plumber snaked pipe, instructed me to flush toilet several times. When i went back outside Plumber stated wipes flushed thru and he recommended 'JETTING" the line which cost $1300. He stated "eventually" I would need to have done. I elected to wait per could not afford at this time. Two days later my toilet was displaying the same problem that he said he fixed. No flushable wipes or grease was flushed since his instruction. I reached out to them on 04/13/23 and was told that they will charge me all over again (to fix what they were suppose to fix in the first place). I would understand if I encounter the problem a year from him coming out. BUT NOT TWO DAYS AFTER PAYING $600. NO SOLUTION. I feel cheated, I paid for a service that I did not receive. I paid Roto Rooter to fix my clogged toilet issue and they did not. I would like a refund. Thanks

    I contacted Rooter Rooter (RR) to install a sump pump in my basement. I told them that it needed to be completed within a 3 Day time frame & I was told that a sump pump should only take a day. I scheduled the appointment & was ready and waiting when the RR employee arrived. The RR employee was a young plumber who made a lot of promises on how the work would be done. He provided an estimate and I paid for the work as agreed. RR did not complete the job as promised and they did not complete the job in the time frame they promised. I had to give the CO-OWNER a key to the basement so that they could complete the job after I had left with the promise it would be mailed to me when completed. I was not there to supervise and hold RR to their promises. This project was agreed to on 7/13/2023 and it was completed on 7/18/2023. That was a lot more than a one day job and the CO-OWNER sent pictures to me via text message. The CO-OWNER promised that they would mail the key to me asap when it was completed. The key was received on 7/26/2023 I was not happy witht the photos and I called the OWNER about them. I told him the project was not completed as promised and I would not have agreed to them doing this project if they would have told me differently. At this time the OWNER told me that I should just be thankful that they do remove the sump pump and dump concrete into the hole where it was installed. When the OWNER said that, I knew I had to be careful with what I said next because the OWNER still had the key to the basement, he had the idea, opportunity, and time to carry out his threats. I said what I had to say to get the key back, I said what I had to get back up to the building to get the door lock changed, and to give the OWNER the chance to make things right. The OWNER met with me and dismissed my what I had to say. The OWNER showed very clearly that he did not want be at the building or discuss the "SUMP PUMP PROJECT."

    Sir, I am sorry you feel we did not meet your expectations. Unfortunately, we had a tech that had a family emergency and could not finish the job that day, we needed to rearrange customers to provide you with the best service possible. We agreed to the job on 7/13/23 the day of the estimate given. We had a hole for the sump pump prepped on 7/15/23 and completed the job 7/18/23 when the ground was ready. As with every call we get, until we are started, we don't know of complications that can arise. Especially, with older properties. However, I personally booked the meeting myself and made sure the owner was in fact on time. He spent hours with you going over some things you wanted improved, which was not within the scope of work we had done. The conversation switched course when the owner asked if the house has been tested for asbestos. After you stated it hadn't been tested, he replied that we could not proceed with the work you wanted. This meeting took place on 8/17/23 at 10:00 am. We would have met you sooner, however you would only be available certain days. The owner accommodated your day and time choice. If you had been in town sooner like the 26th of July when the key arrived, we would have addressed your concerns then. Again, I am sorry we could not meet your expectations.
