              We bought a playset from this location they brought a damaged slide for setup not sure if it was damaged in transit or what the issue was either way it originally wasn’t a big deal, the guys that installed it said they’d get us a new one. Well here we are over a month later with no communication from their end so we finally decided to call, I had to repeatedly call over and over for someone to answer their phone, when I finally got a hold of someone we set a date for them to come replace the slide. On the date we set they failed to show up or even call to reschedule… absolute trash customer service, after spending thousands on this system to have damaged equipment upon delivery then they can’t even fix their mistake just shows they do not care one they have your money. We will not be buying another product from this terrible company.

              Its super unfortunate that I have to write this, but here we go. I purchased an expensive basketball goal for my son for Christmas to be installed at his moms house. We went in and paid cash for the goal and the install and had a date scheduled for the concrete anchor. The anchor date passed with no call, no text and they didnt show. We contacted the company and they informed us that the installer didnt show up to work that day which is fine, but we sat around waiting for them all day. They rescheduled for the 26th of December and this time they showed up. I met the guy there, he said nothing other than hes going to get to work. He spent a good amount of time there and the work was done fine. He never explained anything or said anything to us that day so we assumed all was well. The goal install took place on the 29th and it went pretty seamlessly. The issue came in at the end when we saw it and it was hanging 4' into the already small driveway (see photo). My sons mother questioned them and the installer even said it should have been moved back (have the video footage) but it was too late now. They left and we reached out to Rainbow for a solution. They have been a complete nightmare to deal with and told me today on the phone that we "should have known" to tell them to move the anchor. This is our first ever high dollar basketball goal, so how are we supposed to know where the anchor goes? No one from Rainbow ever told us that it would hang over that far, no dimensions or pictures were shown so now were out over $3000 and have to go to small claims court to try and reach a solution just so my little boy can play basketball. This company is a cash grab and cares not for customer satisfaction. They think this install is ok.........wont move it or take it back. Were now stuck with a $3000 useless goal.........please do yourself a favor and do NOT buy from them.

              Rainbow Play Systems of Illinois in Vernon Hills and the Rainbow Corporate Office provided outstanding service this year (2023) on our play set which we purchased in 2007. Our children and their friends used our 3 swing, 2 deck, slide and crows nest playset from ages 6 and 10 through current. The crows nest and decks fell into disrepair and needed replacement after a hard winter even after having re-stained the whole system pretty much annually. When I called the Vernon Hills store to ask about quoting how much it would cost in parts and labor to fix it, they directed me to file a warranty claim on the corporate website. After having done that and providing pictures of our set, the corporate office approved a warranty replacement of about half of our whole set, everything that needed to be fixed up. They shipped the parts to the Vernon Hills store for free and I had to pay only for installation of the new parts. The install was scheduled in advance and the team arrived on time, completed the work in under 4 hours, cleaned up everything and our set is pretty close to brand new! Rainbow stands behind their warranty, even after 16 years. The staff and management at the Vernon Hills store were very customer focused and the whole process was wonderful. One piece of advice to current and future owners, register your set and follow the warranty rules which will keep your set safe for play and also let you take advantage of repairs / replacements if you happen to need it.

              This company promised life time guarantee on the structure of this unit.. after I reached out when I noticed pieces breaking and the wood beginning to dry rot.. they produced a bill over 1000 that would get them out to my property to up keep the set… never could give me a date.. and often reminded me how far I lived from headquarters causing it to be additional money.. I reached out this year.. and the manager chimes in and says the set is rotten and there is nothing they could do to help after putting over 5000 in what I thought was a lifetime set!

              We purchase a playset back in 2019. It was great! So we thought they were good the first time why not buy from them again. wrong! We purchased a used set we got it home and got it off the trailer and seen that it was in rough shape. It wasn't until the weather warmed up and we started to work on it that we notices that thIs thing had cracked boards, boards that are rotten,a Crack all the way across where the metal rung is for the kids to step up and not to mention an animal had been chewing on this thing. We brought these issues up to rainbow and they offered to replace the boards( that was not a possibility as this set was rotten) S said he would talk to the owner and get back to us as we wanted to return it. S wouldn't give us info to talk to the owner but said he would let us bring it back and we would need to pay a 600 restocking fee. What! We called the Bloomington store and got in touch with the owner who seemed to be understanding and waved the fee if we purchased a different set. We thought ok we can make this work. We communicated through a different employee and set up a time to pick the swing set up. We made the trip today to get it and there is nothing together. We have a bunch of boards, hardware,and plastic in 50 different boxes. Nothing says I don't want to deal with you quiet like we don't want to put anymore time into you as a customer then we have to. This swing set was by NO means cheap. We are so upset and disappointed about this experience! If you don't want a stressful headache DONT BUY FROM RAINBOW OF ST.CLOUD.

              Worst decision and worst investment ever, I was trying to surprise my kids for Christmas and buy one of these equipment play sets and the process has been horrible from the start! I wish I would've read all the reviews before hand and if I did I would've took my money elsewhere! The system was installed so close to my house that the slide isn't usable because the kids will slide down and run straight into the wall! And not only that it was assembled incorrectly to the point that as a mother I don't trust my kids climbing or playing on the other parts of the play system with it being 6ft in the air! I called and complained and they just keep giving me the run around so I plan on filing a police report on this company, If they don't come fix it, now they don't even answer the phone! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY and save thousands of dollars buy ordering of ********************** i have warned you if your reading this review!

              The Sioux falls store exhibits the opposite of customer service. ******************** Not helpful. Refused accountability for their error. And after having our money fo 3 weeks, cancelled our move, after changing dates, because I mentioned my dissatisfaction! After reading the other reviews, seems completely on par.
              Would never do business with these people again, looks like they've ruined other systems moving them, so probably to my fortune this happened!

              Ms. ******* first requested for us to do a "Move Service," (moving an existing and older Rainbow system from one location to another), over the phone. Due to the complexity of such a project we require all customers to fill out a form online so we can evaluate the pictures and get a realistic feel for the job, she was frustrated that we would not give her a quote over the phone but did eventually fill out the request form. We responded the following day with a quote. After nine days, she responded and agreed to the quote. It is our store policy to take in 50% down to "book" the job and to have a signed move disclaimer form on file before the job is started. We require a move disclaimer form anytime our installer is moving an old play system. She paid the deposit and told us she would get the disclaimer in "as soon as [she] can." We let her know that we would reach out to her a week beforehand to schedule the move. On our end, everything was good to go at this point, though we still had not received the disclaimer form.

              We reached out to Ms Belinda stating we had an opening on Thursday October 28th to get her set moved. We also let her know we still had not received the move disclaimer form, and that was due before the service would be carried out. She responded affirmatively and accepted the move date, and asked how to send back the disclaimer - which we explained to her.

              On October 26th, in the afternoon, we still had not received the move disclaimer. We sent another text requesting that she send us the signed disclaimer and let her know that if we did not receive it by Wednesday the 27th (the day before the move), we would need to reschedule the job till after she had sent it. She responded very negatively stating that it was inconvenient. Later that day we received the disclaimer, signed, by her husband, and we confirmed that everything was scheduled for Thursday the 28th. After close of business that day, she sent a text message asking if we could reschedule to the 29th of October. The next morning when our staff saw the message, we responded that we could not reschedule the job to the following day, as we were currently booked with other installs.

              She responded very negatively, stating we have the worst customer service ever and that we are not flexible or helpful in the slightest. She said we were using our busyness as an excuse.

              As we were unable to meet the customers expectations, we refunded their deposit and canceled the move service. We wish we could have made this work for them, but unfortunately we were unable to make last minute adjustments due to previously scheduled installations.

              In all of our experiences with this customer, from initial contact till final phone call, they have been hostile, and mean. At one point her husband said that we "would pay." We do not tolerate being threatened or harassed by customers. We strive to do our best, and while at times we fall short, we will always be kind, honest, and hard working. We have reviewed the conversations, emails, and accusations, and do not find Ms. *******'s accounts accurate. We stand by our decision to cancel this job and refund the customer their money, as meeting their expectations was not possible and they were becoming belligerent.

              We wish them the best, and hope that they were able to get the set moved in a timely fashion.

              They moved my not even a year old system. Damaged it horribly and then reinstalled. It was a safety hazard! It had a nail poking through where my child could have poked his eye. Bolts were not screwed all the way. Bolts were missing. Boards had gashes. Playscape not leveled. They replaced boards but installed one with a crack running down. He verbally agreed to stain the unit because it was going to have different shades- then went back on it. It is going on 5 months (numerous phone calls, email, messages and , I still have a cracked board that they installed, the play system not stained, missing bolts, and person in charge of SA area not getting back to me. Very disappointed
