    On 5/27/22 I went to J&R Auto Sales and found an SUV. It was extremely dirty but after checking for dents and not finding any I didn't think anything of it. I asked the salesperson if there was any damage, he informed me of a small wreck, fully repaired and no other damage. The advertisement on this vehicle claimed 23 to 30 for mileage, it does not get that. The ad also claimed that it seated 5 but there was no seat belt in the middle back seat. This was a very important detail, I have grandchildren I transport all the time and need that. I informed him I needed that seating. I never thought of checking for that middle seat belt after seeing the ad so I purchased it, they rushed through the paperwork, at the time I assumed because they were going to be closing for the day but now I know better. I immediately went to the car wash to wash the car not realizing that what I'd find after were paint chips throughout the entire vehicle. I never thought I'd have to pre wash every car I had to test drive, I took their word on that that there was no other damages. The next business day I called and voiced my concerns only to be told they wouldn't be able to do anything. I told him I was devastated, the whole reason for my purchase was for safe reliable transportation for my grandchildren and that I couldn't transport them now. He didn't want to hear anything I had to say and hung up. After much turmoil about a week later I went to their website to type a review and saw my picture posted on their website and on ******** announcing that I purchased this car and what kind of car it was. I was devastated to say the least. I'm a very private person and never gave them any permission to do that. I don't know what my rights are and I cannot afford an attorney. I had 3 calls to him, 1 dismissed, 1 hung up on me, and the last he said he'd trade it in only at their car lot but that I would only get the trade in value. I couldn't believe they'd treat their customers this way.

Also in regards to taking Ms ****** photo we do let our customers know that we will be adding it to are social media Operations department Consumer Response /* (3000, 8, 2022/07/01) */ I was never made aware of the photo being taken of me, let alone it being posted on social media with my full name and private details of my purchase. I've been advised to talk to the Attorney Generals Office and the Department of Motor Vehicles on this matter. I will not be just giving up on this and giving in. Your dealership has victimized me in many ways and I will not be just allowing that to happen. I tried to contact you guys several times, starting with the very next business morning, only to be blown off and hung up on. Including trying to take advantage of me further by trying to get me to trade it in saying I'm only eligible for the trade in value. You may not be use to other ****** grandmother's being able to do anything about it but I will be defending myself on this matter. I do hope you do the right thing and take it back.
