Repair Terms and Conditions
"MMI-CPR" "Cell Phone Repair" and the individual "CPR" Store where this product is being repaired shall hereinafter be referred to as "Provider." Any device that is delivered to the Provider for repair services shall hereinafter be referred to as "Device". The individual or entity who has delivered the device to Provider shall hereinafter be referred to as "Customer".
Use of Third Party Parts. Customer acknowledges and agrees that Repairs may include the use of OEM or non-original parts. If Non-Original parts are necessary to complete a Repair, Customer hereby authorizes their use with the knowledge that installation of these parts may affect your manufacturer's warranty coverage and may cause messaging on the Device for a period of time notifying the Customer of the use of Non-OEM parts.
IMPORTANT. All Devices should be backed up by the Customer prior to leaving them for repair with the Provider. Customer acknowledges and agrees that Provider is not responsible for any data loss or corruption on the Device. No duty of confidentiality exists between Customer and Provider with respect to any data on your device.
Work Authorization. Customer authorizes Provider to perform the work described in the Service Estimate ("Repairs") on the Device, subject to these Terms and Conditions. If Your Device is under any applicable manufacturer's warranty, then the terms of Provider's Limited Warranty also apply and will control if there is any conflict between those terms. In the event your Device is "In Warranty" and Provider determines upon further inspection that the issue with the Device is not covered by the Provider's Limited Warranty, then additional charges not shown in the Service Estimate may apply. Provider will notify Customer of the additional charges prior to starting Repairs on the Device. Provider will not begin Repairs on the Device until Customer authorizes the additional charges.
Limited Warranty. Provider warrants to Customer that, at the time and place of delivery of the repaired Device and for as long as Customer owns the repaired Device, the work performed by Provider shall be free of defects solely with regard to the Repairs made by Provider, and that said Repairs are properly performed. If Customer's Device should malfunction after Provider has completed repair work, Customer must return the Device to a MMI-CPR Store for evaluation. Customer shall bear all costs of delivery of the Device to the MMI-CPR Store. Upon delivery, Provider will evaluate the Device upon receipt. If Provider determines the Device to be defective due to the completed repairs, Provider may repair the Device at no additional cost. For all repairs that use OEM parts, the provider will repair the device for no additional cost for labor provided the defect is within 30 days from the time of repair. Customer acknowledges and agrees that this limited warranty does not apply to any damage to your Device caused by you or a third party, including but not limited to: liquid damage; physical damage; misuse; improper interfacing; or any additional repairs completed by someone other than the Provider. All implied warranties, including but not.

2) As stated previously, Eric of Dwayne's Alcoa shop (we are guessing he was a trainee as he needed to ask someone the answer for any question we had) provided our "repaired" phone back to us and when HE WAS ASKED ABOUT THE BACK GLASS CRACKS REMAINING; stated that it would not affect the phone usage and therefore they (TN ALCOA CPR) did not repair.
3) We did go to CPR Cell Phone Repair believing they used genuine Motorola parts, the glass used by Dwayne's shop was a refurbished after market that we could have gone to any mall and gotten done for $50. So yes we think this business pulls fast ones on consumers. To that point; we were quoted $150 for GENUINE MOTOROLA screen repair (I can produce these if needed) by TWO other CPR Cell Phone franchises; where as Alcoa charged $199.99 plus tax for the cheap material and then, during this back and forth, said that if they did repair the screen we owed them an additional $80 for the more expensive authentic Motorola parts. Dwayne and Tabitha both believe I used a bad tone with them.....probably so after I feel lied to and called a liar. Sorry this is not a reputable vendor.
