In October of 2023 I began working with this company for a custom set. I paid in full at that time. I did not hear updates on the status of my set, so I continuously reached out to him via Facebook Messenger (because he would not provide another contact. In February, I was finally told that the delivery would be in March. He sent me photos of my set, but the legs were not correct. He said he would fix them and then I didn’t hear from him for weeks. He finally told me in March that my set was ready to go and I’d receive a shipping date soon. I never did, so I had to reach out to him. In April, he said the set would be delivered May 8th. The day before delivery, I still had not heard an update, so I once again reached out. He said his father died in a car crash and the set would not be delivered until he could pick up the pieces. While I did not want to believe I was being scammed, he was posting and trying to sell new tables while telling me he couldn’t deliver mine. At that point, I told him I wanted a full refund. He didn’t respond until I said that I would call the credit card company to file a complaint. He quickly replied and said, “no problem, I won’t fight it.” Luckily, I was able to get my money back by calling my CC company. That day, he posted my table for sale. He had never fixed the legs of the table!
