      I moved in on 02/25/2025 to cobblestone apartments. When I was getting my keys from the leasing office it was mentioned that they did not have a mailbox key for me, and would get one made. I also submitted to them a work order request for my dishwasher missing the basket and 2 wheels, and my refrigerator missing the door guards. I was told a work order was submitted. I never have heard back. I later submitted another work order for my dryer having a foul Oder and being packed with lint, and was told it was added to the work order folder. Again still nothing. I have reached out to the office for an update and never got a response, I emailed the corporate office for help and never heard back. I simply would just like for these work orders to be completed. I have no other complaints. Someone with maintenance brought a fridge then took it back saying they came to the wrong unit and brought my fridge back missing another guard and covered in scrapes.

      Before moving into this rental I was told it was going to be ready for me and then it wasn't going to back and forth. Told nothing as a security deposit and then later told I had a security deposit. Moving day comes and I walk in the apartment and the carpets in the bedrooms are dark with stains. The apartment had a fire prior and the carpets were damaged. I told them they need to replace them. Moving day they get out there and replace them prolonging our moving. I come in and I have two washers and not a dryer, the shed smells like dog urine, there is a dog dish and a cage on the back deck with a cell phone in a doggy dish. One of the bedrooms doesn't have a bedroom door either. There is NO electricity in the kitchen, no light fixtures and no working fridge or stove. The fridge was full of gnats and it smelled. It took them almost two weeks to get me a working fridge, but it doesn't have a handle on it. The bathroom outlets don't have GFI outlets and neither does the kitchen. The kitchen is where the fire started previously and the outlets look burnt up unsafe to use. They said an electrician should be out there to look at it. Still not fixed. I'm scared the issue isn't fixed from the previous tenant fire, The manager kept apologizing and said they'd get me free rent the rest of the year. I ask about it later and they said I would have to pay the rent. Now they refuse to give me a mailbox key after asking many times. I'm asking for ***** for rent, extra food we had to pay because we didn't have a working fridge. The added stress and extra gas.

      I started renting with *** back in may of 2023. I got hit by the tornado in December of 2023. GVA cleared my apartment before they were supposed to they cleared it out in only 8 days. When I asked them where my stuff was they said they had no clue. But the apartment was locked when I went back in so someone with a key had to have gone in. After that they never paid me the money they owed me. They moved me into an apartment with a fridge that had a broken seal and never fixed driving my electric costs sky high. I emailed corporate multiple times and never heard back about the check. They never fixed the fridge. So **** ********* came and my fiance and I went to move to ********** I brought these things to their attention. I know the check was never mailed because I get updates about my mail. I went to break my lease and ***** said she waived the fee and would personally make sure I got my check. I was told I was not be responsible for any more bills through them because they had messed up so bad. I thought that ***** helped me but today I got a call from a debt collector saying I owe almost ***** to them. Which is not what I was told when I signed the paperwork to break my lease. I would like my money that they owe me and for my debt to be cleared because I was told i would not owe anything.

      I have been dealing with a leak from my toilet since April of 2024. My children and I and also my sister that was visiting and her 4 month old is sick and catching fevers etc due to the situation . I still have paid

      Failure to pro ide adequate response time for emergency maintenance repairs. It's been over 10 days since I placed a request to have my air conditioner serviced as it has not worked since I moved in. They have fail to provide alternative means of cooling my upstairs apartment. It has been consistently over 85 degrees and sometime throughout the day almost reaches 100. I've had to resort to purchasing my own portable air conditioner and fans to help circulation throughout the apartment. I've called the emergency maintenance line and left messages with no avail. Stopped by the main office to where I've received the same outcome. Extremely disappointing

      My first complaint is when I lived at 2003 calumet dr apt. C, GVA owns them as well. I got a letter from them basically I have two weeks to corporate with the neighbors that were complaining about my kids making noise we live upstairs the weird thing is they would talk to us everyday but going to office to lie sent police to my place 4 times while me and my boyfriend was at work everything we tell them gets overlooked. Another thing that happened one of the maintenance men walked right in my place after knocking and I was naked I didnt get his name I left it alone trying to have a place to stay i did have words with him then next day came back to my place with the manager and they banged on my door so loud worse then what cops do it was unnecessary honestly I cant remember why they came I think inspection or checking fire extinguishers. Ever since just been getting treated like nothing. Not responding when I call about something like I put a work order in for my stove over 3 weeks ago Im just getting it today but they just left out my place in the front door and its heavy thats not our job to take out the old one and put the new one in. They have to install that. Im so heated I dont want to pay rent here anymore but its hard finding places with my credit and income. I also put a work order for mailbox key never got that bit today 06/24/2024 I see the maintenance guy go over to 2011 3 times but havent came to my place to hook up stove. Its just left out they had permission to come in. I asked the maintenance guy I can see the smile on his face he just says I dont know whats going on Im new. Im just tired.       January I ended my lease with this company & was owed my security deposit back. February 21st *********** had an audit & told me they sent out balances due . When I advised them I never got my security deposit back & I shouldnt have a balance my account was reviewed the manager, *****, at the local office stated there was an accounting error & a check was never actually sent . They should have took the $122 it says I owed out of the $250 deposit & sent a check for $128. She advised me she would *********** up to corporate & they would cut a check for my remaining security deposit & have it sent to the local office for me to pick up . The next day I checked for an update & was advised she sent it up to corporate. Now today I got an email from a collection agency saying GVA sent it to collections. I went to the local office today & spoke with ***** about that & she told me she sent it up but her boss for them to send the check directly to the local office to have me pick up & not have any balance sent to collections but they are corporate & can do what they want was what she said to me.

      It's not for a full refund of March but a partial along with the fact I'm not paying *****'s rent either. Here is why. I am an active duty soldier currently deployed over seas. I got my orders almost end of February last minute, something I can not control. I gave my orders to GVA on tiny town in clarksville tn and they advised I Had to pay March and *****. I paid March. I left March 5th. I had someone still coming to pack my belongings , shut off utilities and grab my mail until that gets forwarded. I come to find out maintenance tried breaking in March 7th. Then I found out from the person who was handling the rest of my stuff and cleaning apt that they broke the locks , changed them along with my mail lock. I paid for March in full. That is against the law and they trespassed no notice nothing. They have not responded to my emails. They expect me to pay ***** so while they fix my place to rent I bet in ***** to get double rent. Absolutely not. I want them blacklisted from army and the BBB to know of their unfair practices along with not keeping their residents safe. Car thefts and teenagers targeting our cars and apts. And they don't have cameras, working lights outside our building nothing. Oak grove police is aware of these teenagers as my vehicle was one of the ones stolen. I'm not giving anymore to this place I want my partial March rent back. My deposit and I'm not paying *****.

Once the notice with the orders was given ***************** account was corrected. HE  will be receiving his $250 refundable deposit. His account for ***** has been creditied and is only responsible for March rent. All personal belongings was received by ******************

      I moved into my apartment in September of 2021 I was rushed into the apartment due to mold being in my other apartment. When moving in they promised to fix and the unfinished stuff my upstairs neighbor house flooded i sent in work orders about more mold frowning and the water flooding into my house the flooring in my house was coming up at the time of move in and now is getting worse they refuse to fix any of it unless I pay for it. I have many work orders starting from the time I have moved into this apartment they raised the rent almost 250$ when I spoke to them and stated that I would like to speak with corporate they refused to give me the email to corporate. Im desperate at this point I just want my apartment fixed in being charged **** for a apartment thats not worth ******************** the lease with false promises

      Any of the concerns that the resident had, we've addressed all concerns, and everything has been taking care of on our end. We have inspected the dwelling three times and did not see any signs of mildew or any findings of mold. We also had Air Ducts cleaned. We have addressed all issues that has been brought to our attention. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused **************.       I was renting an apartment for the the last 6 years, once the property changed companies to ***, we were required to pay an additional 6 to 7 dollars for pest control to come spray monthly. The pest control only came out once 3 to 4 months. This went on since GVA take over 7 years. I'm sure I'm not the only one that was paying for service not received. Please look into this type of theft from GVA. Thank You

      Resident has moved out and has received his deposit.  The Pest Control Fee is a monthly expense that the resident agrees to pay at the lease signing.  Pest Control treatment is by request.

      I am rejecting this response because: GVA stated that the service payment was monthly. Agreed,  I payed monthly for monthly service that wasn't provided on a monthly basis, the payments was not for a service requested. GVA was supposed to provide pest control monthly and did not.
