      This company lacks professionalism and is rude to potential renters. They will push you to apply for an application before getting any information or tour of available units. One of the leasing agents had a whole argument about what I said in office and that my application will be pulled because I told her I was not going to get interrupted or argue about what was said in office.

      I am baffled Fort Campbell has not black listed this company. We moved in to the heritage pointe property at the end of January in 2021. I asked if the carpet had been cleaned, and was told it had been. That was the first lie. fast forward to April of 2022 we had a honey bee colony invade our townhouse while I was pregnant and am allergic. Nothing was done. Fortunately for me, the queen moved on with her colony following. then in July of 2022 our a/c stopped working, and nothing was done for 3 weeks! I was 8 months pregnant during a heat advisory. Maintenance kept refilling the coolant; however, one employee openly admitted they were violating EPA guidelines with the amount of coolant leaking from our unit and it not being replaced. After 3 weeks and management only speaking to my husband who was deployed to the Middle East it finally got fixed. Now we have been moved out of our old townhouse with GVA since August 15, 2023 and have not received the over $300 security deposit we are owed. In the state of TN that is illegal to go over the 60 day threshold. Every time we call we get a different story. “We don’t have your forwarding address,” “It’s in the mail,” “we have to resubmit something because corporate mishandled the paperwork.” We have two children, busy schedules, and now live hundreds of miles away and would lose money to take them to court. Absolutely sickening they’re doing this to anyone, let alone those serving their country.

      I went and met with an “agent” named Kristine, she showed me apartment 261 at newton place, looked at it, I liked itZ she told me to fill it out online. I went to and the website was down, when it was up she sent me a link to apt 271. I asked her was this the same apartment we looked at. She looked me in my face and said yes. She wouldn’t let me get the keys until I got water and electricity turned on. The water people told me not to trust them. Then told me they knew better than to send me without a signed lease. We go to the apartments after 30 minutes of driving back and fourth, and it’s an upstairs unit with carpet. 2 things I specifically said I didn’t want. It stunk of cigarettes and piss. I asked did the previous tenants have pets, she looked at me again and lied saying no. I shampooed the carpets and all and the smell was still there. Had enough and called the assistant manager Tonya and she said they did have a dogs. Then said, “Why’d you sign the lease you didn’t have to.” Yes I did, Kristine didn’t let me see the place until I did sign. Avoid at all cost.

      I moved our 3/13/23. I gave them a deposit of $150 when I moved in. I was told before I moved out that I’d have to hire a cleaning service for the carpets and show a receipt as proof that I paid for someone to come out and clean the apartment. I turned my keys in and gave them the receipt. I guess it was communicated and GVA charged me for carpet cleaning and I only received a $74 check. I called and expressed how this was a mistake on their end and that I’m still owed the other half of the deposit. It’s been 6 months now and I still haven’t received a check. They told me to call the corporate office about this situation. However the corporate office doesn’t answer their phones and they don’t call you back. I’ve reached back out to the office numerous times. Trying to get ahold of someone. It seems like they are just as frustrated as I am because of corporates lack of response and quickness to resolve these issues with pay outs. All in all, If the tables where turned and I owed this company money they wouldn’t hesitate to report it on my credit and send it to collections. I’d be threatened with an eviction notice if I lived there and it didn’t get resolved. Apparently this is happening to a plethora of people. Even to the staff that work for them that lived in their apartments. This may be just a corporate issue but I think it’s wrong and the owners of this company need to figure it out. I would hate to be an employee for GVA and have to be harassed over this by their customers. It’s not right.

      Worst leasing experience ever! I have lived at Priest Lake Apartments for almost 2 years and haven't had any issues. The leasing office offered payment plans due to the incredibly high rent. Then, in August, I went into the office and asked if I could set up a payment plan. I was informed by management that GVA had made a decision that day to no longer accept payment plans and if I did not pay my rent in full that same day that I would be evicted. I was several hundred dollars short on rent and had absolutely no way of paying the full balance that same day. I am a single parent and a special education teacher, so money is very hard to come by. I had not been able to pay any bills except for rent over the summer due to the cost and late fees. Every time I had set up a payment plan in the past, I always honored it and made sure that everything was paid in full. This is very unprofessional and unethical and shows a complete disregard for others. Multiple people have been moving out of this property every day because of this incredibly poor decision made by GVA. I was not provided with a 30 day notice or any opportunity to pay the balance.
