I certainly apologize for any confusion. You are billed based on the meter reads received from the contracted meter reader.  The meter reader is reading the pit meter at your unit.  You can absolutely go to your pit meter to view the meter read to see if it has increased from the meter read on your bill.  Please note, your bill is not estimated and is based on the meter read obtained from the pit meter for your home. If a bill is estimated, this is absolutely noted on the billing statement. In reviewing your account, I do see the usage for your unit did increase for the **** - **** cycle to ****** gallons and then decreased to ****** gallons for the **** - **** cycle.  Have you noticed any leaks or running toilets in your unit?  We did receive a picture of the meter for your unit and the meter read you were billed for does match the read reflected on the meter.

As we are simply the third-party billing company, we are billing as directed by property management.  We simply bill the residents based on the usage from the meter reads to reimburse the *** for the city bill they are paying for the entire property.  *** does not retain the funds billed for the utility potion of the billing but again, ************ the amounts for reimbursement for the ***.

I am rejecting this response because: Somebody is responsible for reading the meter and they didn't do it right. I am 100% sure they didn't have meter readings pictures for the past 4 months, though they have the last reading. if they had pics for the past 5 months I want to see it.. then I will believe that. they are getting the pictures of the meter and reading it from that. These people have connection with meter reading company and some kind of agreement. If not directly these people are responsible. They did respond my call as I demanded after trying to get supervisor on the phone several times and informed me to speak with property manager who is responsible for the bill. I did contact the property manager and he is working on it . Still meter reading company whoever they they are doing fraud. Getting paid for the work they are doing but they are not reading the meters., making pay homeowners for the water they didn't use for the month. For the last five months they didn't read my meter, just sent some numbers to billing company. Last month they did read, the real numbers came double or tripple times than regular usage. This is my explanation.. Our usage may be near ****** G maximum for the last month as we were not watering for the month of Jan and Feb..

      Sincerely,

      Vikramanunni *******

I certainly apologize for any confusion. Prior to the April meter reading, we did not receive pictures of all meter reads, but just the meter reads for the units with high consumption.  As prior to the increase in your usage, the consumption was not high, the meter reader did not take a picture of the meter.  However, starting with the April meter read, we are receiving pictures of every meter read each month.  I have reviewed your consumption and do see that for the next two cycles, the usage is still high at ****** gallons for **** - **** and ****** gallons for **** - 4.19.  The usage you were billed for did pass through the meter for your unit as indicated with the picture of the meter read and again, we are receiving pictures of all meter reads going forward.  These pictures are being provided to property management each month.
