On December 12, 2023 **** ******* of Son Concrete, LLC installed a concrete driveway at my home at *** *** *** ** ********** ********* ****** I paid the company $31,400 of which $27,700 was for the concrete and an additional $3,700 for them to color the concrete mocha. After the concrete dried we noticed it wasn’t nearly the mocha color it is supposed to be and has significant spider web “crazing” cracks all over the surface. Shortly after, we noticed the entrance has a large piece broke off. So, the concrete has significant discoloration because they apparently didn’t mix in enough color, the surface has crazing that is apparently due to the accelerator used on a 20 degree day, and the entrance has a large crack and the corner is broken off. I have texted all of these issues to **** ******* numerous times and most recently reached a point of a demand to refund or cover the cost of remove/replace the concrete. He initially responded to the demand stating via text “Hey if you not happy I will give u you money back” but he has since become non-responsive. We want the money back so we can use it to keep the concrete sealed, which is an extra expense we weren’t planning to have to do because we colored it, and then there is the risk of the surface starting to crumble later, or we want it removed. Or, we want Son to pay the expense to remove the concrete and replace it.
