We reside in ******* and purchased a new car from Benton Nissan in Columbia, ** on July 5, 2024. Benton Nissan is responsible for sending purchase info to Alabama DMV so we can register the vehicle and transfer the tag from the vehicle we traded in. As of today 5 weeks later, Benton Nissan has not sent the information to the Alabama DMV so we can register the vehicle and transfer the tag to the new car. We have called Benton Nissan several times and also Nissan Consumer Affairs. Benton Nissan has done nothing to help us. Simply stated, it is Bentons responsible to send the information to ******* and the dealer is ignoring us and their responsibility. We are driving with a temporary tag which expires in a few days.

I took my Nissan Sentra in to see if they could put my mud guard back on because it was coming off. One of the associates told me the part couldnt be put back on because the part was broken on the bottom. She ordered a new part for me at $79 then told me it would be another $120+ to paint the part and then another $200+ to put the part on, coming to a total of over $400. I decided to pick up the part from the dealership because I found a local shop to put the part on for $20. The local shop told me I didnt need the new part and they put the original part back on at a charge of $20. I want to be reimbursed the money I spent and they can have the part back. I am a single income elderly woman who doesnt have extra money to throw away.

I purchase a new vehicle in April, I offered to file for my tag. I was told, the dealership does this for the owners. Of course, when the tag comes in, they are wrong. I offered to take the tag and have someone take them to be fixed. I was told I couldnt take the tag to get it fixed. They have to refile them for me. I asked for a new temp tag; I was told, its not an option since the name was file incorrectly. ***** or the finance personnel was absolutely no help and rude. After he start talking down to me I left, Im not your child, sir. I have a vehicle that I cannot drive due to dealership negligence. The name on form that you have to sign when picking up your tag is misspelled. It appears the error originated at the dealership and was not caught at the *** or whoever. Now I have to find a way to get it fixed, since I couldnt get a straight answer from the staff. The dealership had copy of identification with the correct spelling, the loan paperwork and it still was sent out wrong. Maybe its time for dealers to stop providing this service if they are going to do it wrong.I have already paid for this service and I hope that I dont have to pay again. If theres an additional charge to refile to fix their mistake, I should get reimbursed for my time and fees. One more thing, please tell ******* to stop calling and texting me about the survey.

12:00 F ******* *** Posting publicly© Absolutely do not buy any extra warranties or gap coverage, we refinanced our car with another lender. Initial Purchase was Dec of 21. Refinance in early February. It is now 3/29. We are getting different stories and the run around trying to get our gap money back. I highly doubt they stand behind the warranty they sell because it is handled by a different company.
