  ******* **** was to put a new roof on my home and replace the underpinning. I was asked for $4750 down and another $2000 upon completion. He said he needed the money up front for the materials. I paid him $4750 with a cashiers check. He told me the day I paid him that he would begin the work the following Monday. He did not show up, call or text me. I called him later in that week and he told me he would be here the following Monday. He did not show and did not show for 4 more appointments. I called him and told him to come over and he did that night. I told him that he could not be trusted and that I was tired of being lied to. I told him to give my money back and we would part friends. He promised me that he would bring me a check yesterday and he did not show. He is not returning calls and texts from me. I have asked for my money back repeatedly with no success. I am going to the authorities tomorrow to file on him.
