Do not use. Sadly, we made the mistake of using Greg B***** at VPD. He did work on our house in 2021, which included remodeling our bathroom. We found multiple things done wrong around our house, but the complaint arose when the shower pan he installed failed. The floor started to sink, the tile started coming up and the grout was breaking. He immediately blamed us and took no responsibility. He made up lies of what the issue was and “experts” he talked to that agreed with him. Not to mention Greg B***** nor his “expert” ever came to the house to see the issue. So, we got three local flooring/tile companies and an inspector to look at and find the truth behind the issue. All parties came to the same conclusion, that it was installed incorrectly, and a new shower pan would need to be installed to fix the issue. Some, but not all, findings were: He cut our floor joist to fit the drain and left it unsupported, did not put proper flooring support under the shower pan, poor thin set application and tile setting, mixed using different shower systems which voids all warranties with both products, and significant moisture was found in the floor and walls even after not using the shower for a month which shows signs of improper waterproofing. When presented with these findings he said you can talk to my lawyer, probably hoping we would not want to go through the trouble of taking him to court. In addition to this, the inspection found and documented multiple things that were not done to industry standards and done incorrectly around our home. Bottom line, Greg B***** and VPD does not stand by their work and with these findings I would say, doesn’t know how to do their work.
