I contracted with them for the pickup of my vehicle for ****. The called the day of the pickup to say it would be ***** They said that there wouldn't be any drivers for ***** When I threatened to report them to the BBB and Attorney General's office for deceptive advertising, the individual called me...to call me a n*****, and that he would drive to my house and f*** my wife, since I wasn't a real man. He followed up with two more phone calls continuing the insulting and derogatory threats. I want my vehicle shipped as requested for 1. At this point, I would like further compensation for the sexual threats against my partner as well, but that will be pursued as a civil action most likely, since his comments according to local law enforcement are "just this side of illegal".Business response

I contacted US Star Trucking LLC to have my daughter's car transported from Illinois to North Carolina. The customer service reps were very rude and seemed confused by my questions about their company. I received a call from someone stating they were from the company a couple weeks later stating my contracted price was too low and they needed to increase it. I told the rep I would call him back because it seemed a little scammy. When I contacted the company again to determine whether this was a legitimate business Edward was again very rude and vague. We needed to change the pick up dates and when I was informed the price was going to increase I requested to cancel the pickup. He stated I would have to pay a **** cancellation fee. I reviewed the contract again looking for that stipulation (I was cancelling 1 month prior to pickup) and noticed the contract said I only had to give 1 week's notice. This was the second red flag. After looking at other reviews I decided to cancel the service. I called to request the cancellation and asked for verification of cancellation in the form of an email. He said no. I asked how I would know that I wasn't going to be charged. He stated "because I'm telling you." This company is extremely unprofessional and should not be in business if it doesn't know how to provide basic customer service.Business response

I was quoted a price for a car transport from Florida to NY. Put a deposit down signed a contract. Day of pickup noone called/came for car. I text company, called & went on their website & put my # in for someone to call me w/in an hour. No response. Called Monday am could not get through, left message. My husband called from his number they said they would call him back. Noone did, i finally got through, was told the truck broke down. They would call me back. They never did. Called again & was told the next day a truck works be there. But the price went from *** ** *****. That day was not going to work bc there was noone to meet the trucker. I found another company & they had a truck there in a few hours. They called me tues sm said a truck was coming. I told them the car was gone. Asked for my deposit back. They said no you have to pay.Business response

The 1st encounter with this company was Oct 29, 2023. We needed a car shipped from Mass to Disney to our daughter who was working there. Unfortunately, we didn't know how the "Trucking business worked". Mark was our rep. at that time. We were given a price then, that increased after signing the contract. He said because of the "Snow birds" trucks were in high demand. Our daughter needed the car, so we gave in. Fast forward to Jan. 20, 2024 for a return trip back. Our rep was Lucas. He gave us a price for being a repeat customer. We set the price and date. Her car was picked up on time by the transport co. on Tues Jan 30. On Fri Feb 2, I called Lucas for ETA and it happened again, He said he would need to increase the price, he gave a bunch of stories and when I refused to pay more, he got upset and told me I didn't understand the trucking business. I told him. there is NO CONTRACT that increases after a set price. If there was to be any increase it would be coming from their side. I told him, I am on a recorded line and I am telling you, you will not get another cent from me. Your company has done this twice to me, but not this time. He hung up and blocked my number. We met the transport truck for pick up. No problems, but he looked at the cash $$ and said its short $$. We explained what happened to us BOTH times. He understood and called them. After his phone call, they told the driver they would give him the extra ***. owed. They had to send him an email stating they would pay the balance.Business response

I requested a quote on January 25, 2024 to have my vehicle transported. I received the quote and decided not to accept. I told them this multiple times and requested they please stop contacting me but they told me no and continue to harass me. I just want them to stop, it's unnerving me, but they won't listen. We hired this company to pick up our truck from Benson, Arizona to deliver to Palmdale, California with the promised to be deliver in 3 days. They Pick up the truck on 01/02/2024 at the mechanic shop. Contract price was **** * They been calling asking for more money and since we are seniors they've been using scare tactics so far we have sent them ******. We have not received our truck which is loaded with ******* in merchandises. Now we feel that they'll are never going to give us our truck. We do not know what to do in this situation and seek for the BBB to guide us and help us.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
The quote has been verified, your company pick up the truck. You haven't delivered the truck as we agreed upon. It's saddest me that you took advantage of elderly people and now is a little too late that I found out that your company did the same thing to other clients. Please resolve this issue and return my truck.Call me at ************ to resolve this.

I was quoted a price of **** to transport my son‘s car to college. I signed the contract and I thought everything was OK the next day I was told that I would have to pay another hundred dollars to have his vehicle transported, very unprofessional as I asked several times if there will be any additional fees, and if this was a concrete amount, and I was told yes, but the next day I was forced to sign another contract with a different price to get my son’s car to where it needed to be very disappointed and I was lied to as I asked if there were any different fees that would be applied, or if my rate would increaseBusiness response

Date of transaction: paid ******* deposit on 11/20/2023. US Star Trucking to pick up my car to transport from Phoenix, AZ to Sturgeon Bay, WI on 12/12/2023. US Star Trucking did not call or respond to transport my car on 12/12/2023. I had to find another transport my car and paid more money. To date US Star Trucking has not responded or refunded the ******* deposit. I have called multiple times and have not been successful.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: US star trucking representative instructed me to send the deposit to the outside Zelle account. Afterwards, the representative confirmed my reservation. See the original attached documents.I recently spoke with the US star trucking manager and he stated that the same thing happened recently to another customer. They told me they cannot refund my deposit and I should request from the external party.
See attached email where US star trucking owner or manager stated that my car was ok to ship in December. I called the company many times to confirm my car shipment but no one called me back or answered their phone.
This company is fraud. They are referring to the contract signed and Item #11 saying they are not responsible if a customer sends a deposit to outside their organization. This is not my fault and they should pay me.
