      Horrible company. Will not let me cancel my gym membership and is much more expensive than any other gym. Was told they switched to month to month for new users yet I am still stuck in my contract.

      When I signed up I understood there would be a ****** cancellation fee. I learned otherwise. I have to pay off the 3 year contract. I called again when I noticed the fitness center no longer locks one into 3 year contract. I was told again I would have to pay off my 3 year contract first. Once I am off the contract I will not return.

      This place is a scam. I would give it 0 stars if I could. They lie to you when you sign up and don’t show you any documentation, it should be illegal and I hope there is a class action law suit against them. They trap you into 3 year contracts with no way out. It is absolutely horrible and corrupt business. We have 2 more years of our contract and are very unhappy with the establishment. They are cheap and either get rid of equipment or half fix it. It is a money grab and screws over people and their lives.

      I AM SO UPSET WITH THIS PLACE. ME AND MY 18 YR OLD DAUGHTER CAME TO GET A MEMBERSHIP. WE SEEN REESE IN MARYVILL, TN LOCATION. HE INFORMED ME IT WOULD BE ONLY 1 YEAR CONTRACT AND WE CANCELLATION WOULD BE HASSLE FREE. I INFORMED HIM OK. I SIGNED SOME PAPERWORK WHICH HE REFUSED TO GIVE ME A COPY OF AND SAID HE NEEDED TO HAVE ALL OF IT DUE TO SENDING IT TO THE DIFFERENT PLACES IN THE CMPANY. I THOUGHT NOTHING ABOUT IT. I CALLED TO CANCEL DUE TO I WAS MOVING BACK HOME TO FLORIDA AND FOUND OUT I WAS ONA 3 YEAR CONTRACT. I HAD TO PAY ALMOST 3000 AND 195 CANCELLATION FEE ON TOP IT. I REFUSED AND SAID I WAS NOT GOING TO DO THAT. EVERYONE YOU SSPEAK WITH WANTS TO CALL YOU NAMES AND ARGUE WITH YOU ABOUT EVERYTHING. I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH REESE ON THE PHONE. HE PRETTY MUCH LAUGHED AND SAID HE KNEW HE LIED AND ANYTHING TO GET A NEW CONTRACT. THEN TOLD ME TO PROVE IT. I HAVE CONTACTED AN ATTORNEY AND I AM -PLANNING TO FILE A LAWSUIT AND ALSO MADE A COMPLAINT WITH BBB AND WILL BE INVOLVING VARIOUS NEWS STATION AS WELL. I HAVE A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR WHO IS ALSO INVESTIGATING THIS AS WELL. HE KNOWS NUMEROUS JUDGES, ATTORNEYS. HE IS EX FEDS, LAW ENFORCEMENT. ** ***** ** ****** *** ** ********** ** ****** ** ** * ***** ****** ******* ****** ***** ** ** ******************** AND MY ATTORNEY WILL LOOK INTO IT. HE SEES ALL THESE REVIEWS AND IS DISGUSTED AND OUTRAGED OVER ALL THIS AS WELL. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.       Dear national fitness, You disappoint me year after year, even when we try to talk with management. All do respect Sam, you need a different profession. Walking away from a group of ladies that we were talking to you and trying to explain we need to be heard. Instead, you barely listened to us without any empathy in the matter, so you can make another sale? Poor new member has no clue! I’ve been a member for 4 years and all they do is well, NOTHING! It’s disappointing as a loyal member our voices are not heard. How many times do one, not, two, not three, not even four times, have we begged for someone to care. The gentleman at the front desk cared more about what all of fitness group of ladies were saying than the night manager, Sam. The group fitness room air conditioning has been broken two 4-years, and finally last summer they gave us two industrial fan… to then have them taken away? Why, do I pay fees twice a year, for no one to care or do ANYTHING, about it… but to walk away in mid conversation when we are trying to explain how upset all of us are? Please, someone hear us cry out for help. One very annoyed, member!!!!!

      Predatory buisiness. Do not join. Regardless of what they say there is no way out of their 3 year contracts. This has costed our family thousands. Notoriously inflexible. They will alter any contract if it benefits them but they will not change any contract in the slightest if it involves paying them less money. I can affirm everything that everyone else is reporting about this buisiness is true. I post this as warning. Please read the Better Buisiness Bureau reviews.

      I signed my family because our foster son was interested in going here. After signing up, I was told corporate would need to have proof of him being placed in our home. Corporate apparently decided our foster son didn’t count as our child because he’s not adopted yet. I was then told that I’d need to pay for an additional membership for him. I called corporate to try to understand this a bit more and Kim Wilson was very rude. Not only did she hang up on me but she wouldn’t let me get one sentence out without interrupting me. So I called back, she then told me she is the highest manager at corporate. Other than the VP and gave “his number” to call because apparently only he (Randy Williams) could decide otherwise. This seems unethical because this wasn’t explained when signing up. I was very clear that I was signing up because of our foster son. I feel misled. After talking to this lady I’d rather not do business here. I asked if I could just cancel and she said not unless you’re moving. This company needs to work on customer service. The attitude isn’t ok. She wouldn’t listen to a single thing I said. Just basically said you are screwed because you signed a contract and we can change that any time but you can’t change it like us…. I feel they are discriminating against foster children and making them feel as they are not a part of the family.

      Get Don Dare from WATE-TV involved. I sympathize with everyone who has been adversely affected by this company's contracts. However, it's critical that we take lawful action to draw attention to these issues. By sharing our experiences and raising our voices, we can raise awareness and hold this company accountable for their actions. We can hurt their sales by warning others not to sign contracts with them and peacefully protesting on the public sidewalk. It's important to remember that we must abide by all applicable laws and regulations when protesting or expressing our opinions. We want to ensure that our message is heard loudly and clearly without violating any legal boundaries. Together, we have the power to demand change and prevent others from experiencing the same fate. So let's take action in a legal and effective way to make a difference.

      Member at the Tazewell Pike location since approximately 2014. Staff are friendly and the facilities have always felt like good value for the amount of time they are open and the amount of space and equipment provided to get a great workout in without distraction. Contract terms are restricting, as you are agreeing to a minimum 3 year commitment up front, but that's a reasonable trade off when compared to other low cost or low commitment gyms in bad locations or filled with less desirable equipment. Never had a problem with any billing issues or surprise charges. Have used their e-cash payment options for purchases at the gym frequently without issue. Spent a long time after my first contract expired as a month to month member, but recently re-upped just to add a locker rental. The value still makes sense, and I don't see the benefit of being a member changing for the worse. I'm in the best shape of my life at this point, and would have a hard time replicating what I get done at NFC Tazewell anywhere else for the same cost/convenience.

      If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m surprised there hasn’t been a class action lawsuit against this company. The representatives directly lied to me when I made an addition to my membership. I specifically asked if the addition would change my contract end date. The assured me “no, this is just an add on”. I find out a few months later (when my original contract would have ended) that the change I made extended my term another YEAR. I had to pay $1000 to get out of the year that was added without mg knowledge. The representatives LIE, they don’t show you what you are signing, just tell you to sign the black signature pad, and they don’t provide the documents you just signed. Even the billing department admits they hire young people who are not trained how to explain the contracts as they are legally required to explain what members are signing and provide the documents to the member. This also happened to my brother on a separate occasion. The rep claimed he was signing a month to month contract and she wouldn’t fill in the contract end date. She changed the paperwork after he signed making it a 3 year contract. They are crooks and thieves. I would support a class action against the company. Everyone I have spoken with has had a similar situation.
