I only went in to get a new phone case and was told they don't make them for my phone anymore (later found out it was b.s) I went to the location on Ridge Road in West Seneca, NY. The sign CLEARLY is VERIZON on sign. Ended up getting an upgrade to my phone, which does NOT work, my contacts did NOT transfer over, nor did majority of my passwords, or pro-membership rewards from leading retailers. Took phone back and they said they'd have to order another. I told them that I would just go to another Verizon location which is when I learned that I was misled by thinking I was with Verizon services. Oooh the outrage when I found out they were just an affiliate to sell their products. They sold me a brand new piece of junk. They were extremely rude and when I told them I was going to Verizon directly, they said "good luck with that-they won't honor your purchase". I was fuming. Phone keeps shutting itself off even in the middle of important conversations like planning my fathers funeral. NEVER EVER will I use them again. Wish i had come here to read the reviews first....it seems to be the companies policy to tell you one thing and bill you more then they tell you after you have it in writing and take your trade in which can't be returned to you. I bought a new iPhone in October of last year. I was supposed to receive an 800 dollar credit for my old phone. I mailed it in using a generic label because I could not print out the one they emailed me. I got the generic label from one of their stores! This is may and I still have not received any credit from them for my phone that they have probably already resold!!! I have called many times and been promised that I would get the credit but that it would take two months. Basically ensuring them that I would not call for two months before I called again to say hey didn’t work again!!! I believe they are basically waiting on me to just give up but that is not going to happen. I do not recommend this company!! Been a customer for 4 yrs last year they had a BOGO Samsung galaxy deal with an added line. So I purchased a new phone for myself and added a line for my daughter. They have been charging me for both phones, plus they upgraded 2 of my kids lines at higher prices without my approval. When I complained all they did was lower my kids plans back down, they did not reimburse me and they are still charging me for the free phone, they are not applying any type of credit to make it free.I was told it would be sent to the promotions department to be looked into but that was a month ago and I have not heard anything. I wish I had checked this before walking in the door of Cellular Sales in Xenia OH. The sales representative said I can take advantage of a trade in promotion of $500 per phone, AND also apply a BOGO (Buy One Get One free) up to $1,000, And the representative said they are very careful in their work, and applying promotions because, if they make an error it comes out of their pocket since, they are not a corporate store. And swore that if I had any problems he would make it right. Well the trade-in discount is applied to my account but, not the BOGO. Verizon says you can't have both. After several calls to the store I was finally able to speak to the rep, and he says no, the BOGO was only for $500, and he will open a case w/Verizon to investigate why it hasn't been applied to my account. Several weeks later, and after leaving numerous messages for the rep to contact me; not surprised, he has yet to return any of my calls. Contacted the store manager but, he was of no help; "nothing I can do". The manager also says you are not able to have both promotions on the same account. There was also another promotion that if you switch to Verizon they will give you a $200 gift card. Sounds easy BUT... it isn't. You need to contact Verizon to get a code, you then submit the form with the code. We transferred 4 lines to Verizon, only 2 of the lines qualified for the gift card. Yes, there were pages of fine print. One line was disqualified because, I activated the phone in the store and not at home. Verizon spends millions $$$ on advertising to have you switch to them, and then they rip you off for a measly $200. There cell service is okay but, their agent stores and overall customer service is terrible. Yes, I am not planning to be a long term customer of Verizon, I don't like to fight and hassle about every nickel and dime. And to be mislead regarding promotions and costing me $1,000 I do not plan to be a Verizon customer any longer than I need toVerizon Authorized Retailer - Cellular Sales

I ordered my new Apple iPhone 14 on the Verizon website got it and loved it an entire 4 days. I always read and study Apple’s Analytics LOVE! “My” phone and account with flipping Verizon was shared with at minimum 5,6 other people……Apps I never had, places I’d never been REALLY CREEPY STUFF indeed. I was helping to FUND (at $175.00 bucks a month) it ALL! GOD ONLY KNOWS WHOM - DOING GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT- All OCCURRING WHILST UNDER MY NAME - EMAIL - CONTACTS- PERSONAL, INFORMATION MINE,MY FAMILY. BEING CHARGED AN ARM & A LEG BY VERIZON TO BE TRAFFICKED LIKE A PIECE OF PORK ROAST,,,,,I’M GOING BACK TO BEING A VEGETARIAN. THE APPLE ANALYTICS HAD BITS AND PIECES OF WORDS SUCH AS, NSA, NO FLY LIST, SECURITY, WATCHING, RAT, EXCESS, CCs, NUMBER OF CALLS, RADIO FREQ USED, ETC. GEE GREAT- NOT BORING, SMALL TOWN, CAREGIVING, NEVER GO ANYWHERE ME!! My husband and I received a text message on 4/13/23 from Verizon thanking us for being loyal customers and offering a free upgrade to a Samsung Galaxy S23 with a trade in of our phones. On April 16th we went to an authorized dealer and were told that they could only offer us $350 off the S23. This was not enough to cover the cost of the phone. We were advised to call customer service and/or go to the corporate store. We did both and were told that they would not honor the text message offer. Corporate store offered $500 off the S23 but nothing more. This is the second time that Verizon sent us a text and then refused to honor the offer.Verizon Authorized Retailer - Cellular Sales

I am an old Veteran with hearing aids. I purchased a phone and was told that it would work. Quite pricy. It would NOT sync with my hearing aids. I went back after calling the hearing aid Company. They said that model would Never sync and that I was told wrong. I'm now our a good bit of money. I was given another phone that the hearing aid Company said would work. I was told it would be a swap due to I returned the original phone. Later I was told that I would also have to make monthly payments. They gave me little to no credit for my turning it in. The Store is called an Indirect store which I did not know what that was but they Offer me almost no help. Trying to get hold of Verizon Corporate is almost impossible. I NEED SOME HELP HERE. I went verizon and asked for a low payment every month, because I'm on a fixed-income. I was sold a phone and a tablet and the guy in the store told me it would be $110 a month. He never told me about the first bill would have the activation fee on it. The tablet wouldn't work right, it kept closing out of the full screen mode. I went back to get another one and it did the same. Customer service told me that I could end my contract before the month is out I would just have to pay $50 for each item. Kept calling customer service and they was very rude to me, no one wanted to help and now they are calling me phone harassing me for me to pay a $ 900.00 bill when I didn't have the phone service for a month. Calvin started off okay, but after an hour his hangover caused his attitude to flip to the negative side. In short, my 82 year old mother was asked to leave , $500 poorer, with two phones that were not activated. He said that sometime tomorrow they would probably work. Instead we sat in a restaurant on hold for another hour while two people, quite helpful, in foreign countries finally sealed the deal. Seek help elsewhere.Verizon Authorized Retailer - Cellular Sales
