This business is horrible. We bought a classic membership for around ***** Our car broke down on a busy interstate and we called AAA to get a tow to the nearest town. They never showed up. We called them multiple times to follow up on the said tow truck that was on their way. After over 3 hours of waiting on the side of the road we finally found our own tow company. All AAA will do is allow us to fill out a reimbursement form for the tow expense. They will not give us our money back on the membership, even though they didn't hold up their end of the deal. They guarantee 24/7 tow and 20 minutes faster than any other business with membership purchase. When I called customer service they heard my complaint and said to please hold while they got a manager on the phone. To no surprise i was left on hold for 35 minutes with no answer. Do not pay for these services. They will not provide the services they say they will.

I am absolutely astonished by the way this company does lifelong, never EVER been late on ONE payment in close to 65 years, NEVER filed a claim or had an accident, and one time in all those years her son was driving her car and hit a pole in a parking lot do to wet pavement and they DROPPED HER!! It’s crazy what the world today does to good, honest, trustworthy people. Sick

I won't be renewing. Not only is service delayed but I'm inundated with offers for insurance and other products that I want no part of.

What a waste of money. Mechanics and shop managers up chare and up sell you on every service they can offer, lying to your face about the service your vehicle needs. Tow truck drivers are NEVER available and customer service reps will lie about their availability to justify long wait times. Was strung along via app, website, 5 phone calls over 8 hours and my car was never picked up. Never been more displeased with a service I paid for. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

This review is coming from a AAA member for 19 years. As a member for 19 years and having an auto policy with AAA form most if not all of the 19 years, I recently had a credit/debit card expire and update, I was not totally aware that my auto insurance payments were being charged to that specific card, and apparently AAA did not receive their payment. Apparently after being a customer for 19 years, my account had somehow fallen into an account with NO Agent. Not my fault, the fault of my agent moving on to another position or job with a different company. If your account has NO Agent, No one at AAA will bother to pick up the phone or email you, they just put one note in the mail. So I missed that note and AAA canceled my Auto policy. Not inly did they cancel the policy with no phone call or email, they were able to notify the credit bureaus of a late payment. Amazing that they can find the time to do that, but not call a customer of 19 years to fix an honest mistake. When I called AAA to ask how they could do this, I was met with a smug attitude and that they would have someone reach out.... still waiting. Needless to say I have taken my business else where, to a smaller company with real people.

Unresponsive , unreliable, unprofessional, does not provide services on timely basis . My college granddaughter waited over 4 hours on a cold dark interstate for a tow of 4 miles . My 76 year old wife waited 2 hours for an automated call advising that some one would call her . No one ever did . We ended up calling someone else. This is so pathetic. When you call them they ALWAYS blow you off with canned phrases

On 4/24/24, I called AAA at 5:47pm after my vehicle stopped running because I ran out of gas. I waited a ridiculous amount of time, 10:21pm until they finally showed. I’m alone, it’s dark and was scared to death! I answered their “How did we do” survey and gave this same review. No one from the company has bothered to reach out to me. AAA is the worst!!! Do NOT depend on them. Get your roadside assistance from your insurance!!

I have been a member of AAA for over 20 yrs and only used them once. This week I needed my car jumped because the battery was dead. I called and an automated message sent me a text to open a service request which I did. Every hour for 6 hours I called and tried to get a status update. Again, only automated service saying my request was being processed. Finally I got a call around 6pm (initial request at 12pm) that someone would be there at 11pm. Really?? I declined and got help on my own within an hour. The next day I received a call from a man saying he was on his way from a city 40 miles ago to jump me. I told him I had canceled my request. Then AAA calls me wanting to know why I canceled. I gave them the whole story and more. This woman informed me there is no AAA service provider where I live so they have to find someone to take the request. I live in a county of 410,000 people and AAA doesn't have anyone for basic service? This is unacceptable. I will be canceling. Note: I am also a female senior citizen.
