We recently completed the process of exiting our timeshare. It definitely took longer than we originally anticipated, and unfortunately, we had to cover one more year of maintenance fees while things were being finalized. That said, the customer service team was always responsive and helpful throughout the process, and they answered our questions every step of the way. In the end, we got the result we were hoping for, and we're relieved to finally be free of the timeshare.

We attended a meeting with these guys last summer. We have considered getting rid of our timeshare for quite a few years and haven’t had any luck. We tried to sell it a couple of times with no luck and ended up loosing listing fees both times. What we heard from this company made sense and was guaranteed. Steven and Jude were very professional and knowledgeable. We signed a contract and had our final document by October and don’t have to pay fees in January. Byron Jennings

I am a little skeptical and worried that I might again have been taken/scammed by a company claiming they can get us out of our timeshare. We went to our initial presentation In July 2024. After the presentation, the agent who spoke to us, Jude *******, was very knowledgeable and comforting in that his company could get us a buyout offer from Westgate Resorts for our timeshare. Over the past 5 months, I received monthly emails telling us that the company was making progress. The emails were coming from VPFG (Vacation Property Fulfillment Group) under CPN and we were confident that all was well with the process. However, on February 28, 2025, I received an email from VPFG saying that they were closing out our case and would not be able to pursue it. The reason given "The company originally we were originally contracted with to facilitate the timeshare exit, Consumer Protection Network, was working with a third-party - either Timeshare Solutions or The Release Department, and sadly these companies have gone out of business and have ceased corresponding with VPFG, and in addition the payments for this service are 10 months behind, even though we were only 6 months in at this point. I am really upset as I paid out $8K for this service with no mention of a refund or anything. Today, March 4th, I get another email from CPN, Misti E****, saying that CPN is actively working our file and have recently ended partnership with one of their partners - not sure who. I am concerned that these are just additional scam tactics in order to keep my money. Anyone have any other experience like this with CPN?

When we received a call in reference to a company Consumer Protection would be giving an update on new laws regarding timeshares we decided reluctantly to attend especially after we were taken by other companies and feeling very frustrated. We listened to their presentation that was very informative. After the presentation we were greeted by Bill ******** to go over exactly what their company does to help us exit this timeshare and ensuring us that our money would be returned if within two years they were not able to relinquish us from this timeshare. He was so professional and answered all or questions and ensured us he would be our contact and that he was! Whenever I contacted him he always responded the same day with answers what a difference that made. I assure you you will not be disappointed with this company to help you rid yourself of timeshare ownership I truly feel a weight has been lifted off our shoulders.

I will be fully transparent with my review as I was extremely skeptical at first. Myself and my wife had been through the wringer at the Resort. We were told a bunch of lies and bought into our timeshare about 9 years ago. It has been one of the most Regretful decisions, me and my wife have made in our lives. However, I am pleased to share that after being scammed several times trying to sell it …we Reluctantly came to the meeting with Consumer Protection Networks. After hearing a very informative presentation from the podium speaker Jude we reluctantly decided to give Consumer Protection Networks a shot. As I promised once they finished the job I would post my review. I am very pleased to announce Tony ******* the consultant we were assigned to really did a great job helping us through the process. Also their Release Department helped us with getting the paperwork done correctly. As of this month we are officially timeshare free!!!! I would like to thank Consumer Protection Networks for keeping their word and ridding us of our Timeshare nightmare! This burden has truly been lifted. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a legitimate way to get rid of their timeshare! Thanks a Million, Bob ******

My wife and I attended a meeting with these guys in August. We have been trying to get out of our timeshare for years. Never felt comfortable with the companies we’ve met with. These guys knew what they were talking about. Tony was very informative and knowledgeable. The speaker Jude also knew what he was talking about and very informative. We signed a contract with them. We are happy to say we got our final documents in December. We do not have to pay any fee in January or ever again. Very happy we met these guys. Menard H*******

We had a bad experience with Consumer Protection Networks (CPN). We have a 18,000 point based timeshare contract with WorldMark (WM) but had not researched exit options. We attended a CPN seminar to "learn" our options. CPN claimed they had EXTENSIVE knowledge on exiting from our type of WM timeshare. After a few minutes of researching "Our Contract" in their extensive WM database, they said they were 99.9% sure that WM would charge us $40,000 to exit/void our contract, but there was a $25k Gov. based "Early Buyout Credit" that was about to EXPIRE which they could "GET" for us (BUY NOW). Our net cost would be $13k to WM and $2,500 in fees to CPN. Several times I asked if our WM had any other options available - "Absolutely NOT" was the answer, and do not even try to call them because they will not let you exit or it will be $40k or more. We signed the contract with CPN for over $15,000. The next day, after a few minutes of internet searches, we found that WorldMark has a "Certified Exit -by Wyndham" program link (for WorldMark and Wyndham) on their website with an option that will allow us to surrender our deed to them at NO COST to us by just signing a few documents - about a two week process. We called WM and in 15 minutes we found the only caveat was that the timeshare's status had to be "Paid in full with no outstanding dues" which it is. There are many positive reviews of this FREE "Certified Exit program backed by Wyndham" elsewhere on the internet. We immediately called CPN and cancelled their contract - they refunded my down payment. When I told CPN why I was cancelling - they said CPN had "Never Heard" of this FREE program and my case was a RARE exception. They said that if CPN had found that my WM contract could be cancelled for free during CPN's $15k exit process - they would have refunded my $15,000 (Ha Ha). CPN at the very LEAST was negligent in presenting the CORRECT FACTS of my situation. Do your own research before working with CPN.

Woah... First of all Steve asked me to read the reviews on here before I posted and Im glad I did. I am a business owner, and I have experienced how anyone can get on here and post lies about companies without verifying their purchase. It seems like thats the case with all the other reviews that are negative. Or maybe theyre competitor companies?? It just seems fishy is all. Anywho! I had a great experience with them and we look forward to getting out of our timeshare. It means a lot that a company is willing to try and help us since we feel like we made a mistake and were stuck with it. My fiance and I are so thankful! Olivia *****r <3

I met with the company in August of 2024 and spoke with Micke L about my Wyndham ownership, the entire presentation was very informative and she answered all of my questions professionally concerning getting me out of my timeshare. I was very skeptical at first as I get invites to events regularly with different companies. We moved forward with the cancellation and am pleased to say the process has moved along much faster than expected and am now only awaiting final notification which I should be receiving within the week. thank you so much for all of your help.

We attended a meeting with consumer protection networks in August of 2024. We were somewhat skeptical as we have been ripped off in the past. We entrusted consumer protection networks to help us get rid of our timeshare. Not only were they able to help us get rid of our contract with bluegreen, they were able to help us recoup some of our losses from the company that ripped us off last year. I'm writing this review because we just received our confirmation of non-ownership in the mail today. We were very satisfied with the service we received from consumer protection networks. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family that have timeshare.
