I took my 2016 Tucson to Wilson County Hyundai (WCH) to have the motor replaced and two doors fixed under a third-party warranty I purchased with the vehicle at another dealer. The motor replacement took forever (more than 2 months) due to non-communication with the warranty company or myself by WCH. I repeatedly asked them to call me at home, not to try to contact me via my (unreliable) cell phone. They continued to use my cell phone for communication. During the conversations about my motor, I verified that my door issues were approved for repair by the warranty company. I was assured they were and would be fixed long with the motor replacement. They were not. When I took my vehicle back to have the doors fixed (at my own discretion and schedule) I was told the driver's door handle would be replaced. I took the vehicle in to be "evaluated" for service, was told to take the vehicle back home and I would be called when the parts were ready. I received notice a week later that my door handle was in, was being sent to the "paint shop" and I would be notified when it was ready to be installed. Two weeks later, I received notice that my handle was back from paint and ready to be installed. I scheduled service for Aug 7, 2024 at shop open. On Aug 7, 2024, after my doors were fixed, I surveyed my Tucson. I saw that the handle had NOT been replaced. I asked what had been done to my vehicle and was told "The handle was replaced." When I argued that it had NOT been replaced and asked what I had been waiting on at the paint shop, I was told my handle wouldn't have been painted even if it had been sent to the paint shop because the paint shop doesn't do "small batch jobs" and I would have had to wait for someone else with the same color of car to come along for service. When I showed the tech, Philip, his own messages to me saying my handle was sent to paint, he had no answers for me. He could not defend his own lies. I will never take another vehicle to WCH for service.

Deceptive business practices within the service department. Additionally, it took 2 weeks of calling every day for the service manager to make contact with her finally. Also, I left several messages to Mr. Payne B*** to give me a call, but none of my calls were returned.

    Hello,

There is no specific deceptive practice in the review (which is apparently left for a third party).  Since we don't know who "her" is, it is difficult for us to dig into this and find out what happened.  For the call situation, I would like to apologize.  We failed to communicate on multiple occasions and we are working hard to make communication with service more seamless for customers.  As to any message left for me personally, I apologize if I missed your message.  It is always my intention to return every voicemail and if I missed yours, I apologize.
