On the contract with ARCUS Restoration (local office) they entered my home on 4/20/23 and completed an estimate on 5/15/23. I voiced my concerns many times about the work being done in my home. The lead person on my repairs was very rude on several occasions. The painters didn't take down blinds to paint in the windows, didn't remove electrical outlet covers to paint and let several areas not touched. The painters messed up the ceiling, they had to get someone to scrape the paint/popcorn from the ceiling and repaint it. They sent someone put down tile that in my opinion wasn't qualified because he laid the tile on the subfloor and when I complained about the way the tile was, they had this same person try to patch it up. They ended up having to get a professional to come install. He had to put down a cement board and install the tile. Then there was the issue with installing flood light on the outside, they didn't put it where it should have been placed. They ended up having to get a licensed electrician install to properly install the flood light. There was several things on the estimate that was never done. I asked that the lead no longer handle my repairs because of his rudeness. When it came time to sign off on the repairs the main person in charge came I told him about the items that had not been done. He went back to their off and added up those things. When he came back he said I was due a refund. After a couple of months I called and asked about the refund. He said everything was sent to ARCUS Restoration main office. I WOULD NOT recommend ARCUS to anyone.
