  SRM concrete required me to email copies of my ID and my credit card (front and back) before they would accept the charge for the concrete I ordered. This is a great way to commit credit card fraud and a very bad business practice. I'll be watching for the additional unauthorized charges and I recommend you find somebody else to purchase your concrete from!

  Ref: Discrepancy in Billing for Concrete Deliveries My name is ****** *****, and together with my wife, ****** *. ******, we are personally overseeing the construction of our home at **** ***** ****** **********, FL 32725. For the slab portion of the construction, we engaged Mr. Ramon O***** ) to manage the concrete supply. Mr. O***** coordinated with your company to schedule the delivery of concrete on December 21, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM. Reference: Sold to: COD!!! Ramon O***** *****. The contact between Mr. O***** and your company was facilitated through Mr. A**** The trucks began arriving at 9:29 AM. I was present on-site from 8:00 AM, closely supervising the concrete pouring operation and all related activities. Additionally, the operator of the concrete pumping machine, Mr. Geovanny C***** (), was also present to monitor the unloading of each truck. As instructed by Mr. O*****, I provided the driver of the first truck, Mr. Rafael C**** (ticket #****), with check #**** from ********* ****** *****. This check was signed and left blank, as required by your company, to ensure subsequent deliveries could proceed. The agreement was that your company would cash the check for the final total amount at the end of the delivery process. Based on my engineering calculations, the project required a maximum of 9 to 10 trucks, although I am not an expert. As the property owner, I personally ensured that I received and reviewed the tickets for each truck. At the end of the process, we counted a total of 10 tickets. However, I have been charged for 12 trucks, and I have identified two discrepancies: 1. Ticket #****: This ticket lacks any information regarding the departure time from your plant or arrival time at the site, as evidenced by a photo sent to Mr. O******* phone. 2. Ticket #****: This ticket reflects an unloading start time that is identical to that of ticket #********, which is implausible.

  I'm highly unsatisfied with SRM Concrete! On Friday November 8, 2024 we had concrete delivered to our home in Republic, Oh for my sidewalk, and front driveway. We had to send back the last 5 yards of concrete and was unable to do the front driveway because the concrete was hardening in the truck, and coming out in chunks the size of footballs. The driver tried to thin it out using all of the water from his truck, and then using water from our house despite these efforts it still wasn't working. The driver stated that he normally is a dispatcher, and the previous driver had quit, and the truck may have not been cleaned out very good. I have done business with you in the past and have never had an issue like this before, however, I am highly disappointed and I'm unsure of what the concrete that I did use will even look like in a year as it was also dry, beginning to clump and also not right, but I made do. The driver clearly knew the concrete was unusable when he took it back and I thought the check I had initially wrote for the entire amount would cover the concrete delivered and the concrete owed and I assumed this issue would be made right by bringing usable concrete to finish the job. Apparently, the driver didn't share this information about the concrete being clumpy and unusable. I called Monday November 11, 2024, to discuss this matter and see when it was going to be made right and to see when the rest of the concrete which was already paid for would be delivered. The Manager indicated that there would be a 150.00 delivery fee discount on the second delivery, however I would have to pay again for the additional 5 yards. After this conversation, I had my bank stop my original check and reissued SRM concrete a new check minus the 5 yards that was un useable, along with a Certified Letter that I sent stating my reasoning. On December 2, I received a Notice of Furnishing letter from SRM Concrete in regards to the notice required for the Mechanics Lien Law.

  Very dissatisfied with the customer service from the Athens, TN facility. One of their drivers backed off the road before reaching our lot and damaged a culvert pipe. The Loss Prevention Manager tells me they are not responsible for the damage their driver did on the way to my lot. I’m not sure how far from their plant their perceived responsibility ends. This driver was overheard asking the tow truck driver if he was the same driver the pulled him out before. I’m not sure how many incidents one driver can have and SRM still employing him. When he backed off the road, and nearly rolled his truck over, concrete spilled out and flowed into the stream without any apparent attempt to clean up or contain the spill. This incident speaks loads of the integrity of the management team at the SRM Athens facility.

  They asked for measurements, so we gave them to them. The employee miscalculated the amount of concrete needed, and so when the concrete was delivered they were about a yard short. Now my mom is being charged for THEIR mistake, and they won't budge on the price. She is being charged for ANOTHER delivery fee along with other fees, even though they screwed up. Do NOT use them; when they make mistakes they will not own up to it and make it right.

  SRM has the best price in town. The are very reliable, my sales representative is very responsive, dispatch helps resolve scheduling conflicts and always manages to fit us in the books! Concrete is delivered on time with no issues.

  We have poured concrete with these guys for multiple years now and are quite happy with their concrete and service. Dispatch is good and we have experienced very few problems with SRM. I also really like our salesman and the pricing is usually predictable enough that you don't have to call for pricing for every job. ***** *******
