We purchased brick from this company out of the warehouse in *********, ** at ********************************************************************* - phone number ************. We are a business purchasing this brick for a job we were performing and the brick on the home we were adding onto was originally purchased from this company several years ago and we needed to match the brick, so we went straight to this company. The brick was called Shadow Stone Queen. We spoke with the manager, *************************, at this location who figured how much brick we would need. We gave him the exact dimensions and size/square footage of the area. *****, the manager, figured the brick and told us we needed 4 pallets/cubes for this job. We asked for it to be delivered. We paid over the phone on Wednesday 10/25/23 - $1070.87 for the total order including the delivery fee and I was told by ***************************, the person who took the order and payment that this would be delivered that Friday, 10/27/23. We called Friday morning and spoke with ***** and she said, it would not be delivered today, but would be Monday. Later that day we received another call from ***** saying it would not be Monday, but now Tuesday before it would be delivered. We told her at that time, we could not continue to be put off, this was holding up our job, so we drove ourselves to ********* and picked up the order. We picked it up on Monday, 10-30-23. The brick job was completed in a few days and we only used 1 and 3/4 of the 4 pallets/cubes total. We called the company back on Thursday 11/2/23 to return the two pallets of brick that had never been touched/used. The manager had way over figured this brick and we had purchased more than double what was needed for this job. Each pallet/cube has 610 bricks and each pallet costs $267.72 each. *************************** said they would not take the brick back, so we asked for the manager to call us. We spoke with *************************, the manager - the one who way over figured this brick and he said he would have to talk to his manager. We never received a return call. We called all day Friday and the following Monday and left messages and we never received a return call from anyone. We only purchased 4 pallets/cubes because we were told that is how much we would need. They purposefully sold us over double the product we would need, a specialty color that we will not use again and then refused to take this back and reimburse us for $535.44 worth of unused product that we only ordered due to their negligence and ignorance in figuring the job/product needed. They never delivered the product like they said they would, we had to drive to pick it up ourselves and then they over figured to make us purchase more and refused to reimburse us for the unused product we were returning. This is a BRICK company who does this for a living! They should know how to figure brick! They are price gouging and purposefully over selling a product and then sticking you with something you will never use again to pad their sales! We want our unused product reimbursed and we will return! It is solely their fault we ordered and paid for too much product! They have avoided our calls and will not return a call to us!
