      I was given access to Kroll as part of a security breach. I signed up for the monitoring service, and was directed to validate my identity. So - they have all my personal info, including my SS#, and NOW I have to validate my identify. I am given the typical series of questions: On which address have you had a mortgage, Which car did you finance, Which of these addresses, Who else lived at this address - The standard questions that you answer to get a copy of your credit report. I answer the first series, and Kroll tells me something's wrong, try again. I answer the second series - something's wrong, try again. I KNOW absolutely that I am giving the right answers, but I also see that 4/5 questions are NONE OF THE ABOVE, which is unusual. After the third series, I'm locked out of trying, and have to call them. I call - and the person on the other end wants me to try another series of questions! How is this helpful? I asked to have the account canceled - the rep can't do that, I have to make another call, where I get another rep who can't do that. Bottom line: I've now given my personal details to a place that has incorrect information linked to me - and I can't get out of it. I can log in, but there's nowhere to cancel the account. My advice: Find another (better) monitoring service.

      I experienced a cyber breach last year and received a letter from this company informing me of this cyber breach. I was offered a year of credit monitoring services. I put one credit card in this company to monitor and since then, I have had this one credit card, ****** ***  account taken over due to account take over. I have requested that my account be deactivate to no avail. In addition, my password to Kroll, continuously changes without my authorization.

      Jessica was exceptional, knowledgeable and very helpful. After explaining the fraud event I had encountered, she checked my coverage of monitoring and gave me expert advice on how to report fraud and she explained everything I could do to prevent and or monitor my financial accounts. She was very professional and efficient. She explained everything to me in terms I could understand. Jessica was excellent!

      I was notified by my bank that someone in their company had leaked my name and email and offered free monitoring services through Kroll. I tried to set up my account but could not use the full services in it as I needed to verify my identity first. I had entered my birthdate wrong and fixed it. Then I found out that one one system it was fix but not the other one. Then it was fixed. Was told to call back after 72 hours as the system locks you out after 3 attempts. This happened on 5/30/24. Called back over a week later (6/7/24) and was told that there was an error in the system that would not allow it to generate the questions to verify my identity and to call back in 72 hours. I called on 6/10/24 and was told that there was an error again. Woman who answered stated that she escalated the ticket and reached out to someone for troubleshooting my issue. I was put on hold for a while and then asked if I was on a credit freeze. I told her no. She tried other troubleshooting options but they didn't work. She submitted my ticket for escalation and stated I will receive a call within 24 hours. Let her know to call me after 3pm. Called ended as cordless phone ran out of charge. Called back on 6/12/24 and was told that on 6/11/24 my ticket was remodified to re-escalate to management to high priority by a supervisor and I had to wait 2-4 business days for a call back. Was told that my ticket stated to call between 1-5pm. Was told that she could not change this note and could not add or create a new ticket about not getting a call on 6/11/24. Was told I have a ticket and a complaint in the system and to call back if no call after 4 business days from 6/11/24. I called back today (6/19/24) but I got a message about "unexpected circumstances cannot answer call". Called back but same message. Called another number and message stated Kroll was closed due to the holiday of Juneteeth.

      I left a review for Kroll on 6/19/24; this is an update. I called Kroll back on 6/21/24 and a female agent got the error again. She asked me if I had another line of credit or loan and I told her no. She created another complaint and added a note for a call back. She said my previous case was closed (no date given) due to an issue with how it was made. She stated that I will get a call back in 2-3 business days (got my Complaint Case #). I let her know I had ******** in the past. On 6/25/24 I got a call from an agent from ******** ******** ***** *****. He said that the number I have been calling (877) was for them to help with Kroll ID Verification only and was not connected to the *** website. The agent from 6/21 was confused when she closed my Kroll ticket to create one through ***. He didn't find an account for me with ***. He created a complaint. I was advised to call 877 back and let them know that this is for a Kroll account. I called and was told that since I don't have 3 lines of credit the system could not generate questions. I let him know that I had been asked about my credit before but it was stated as if they thought I did have it (was asked after they got the error). I believe I was asked about my credit more than once prior to this call and I answered no. Why didn't the other agents who asked about credit not know that this was my issue? He created another complaint (no call back needed). Found out today that Kroll 833 called yesterday. Called back and was told to call 877. Called it 3 times, got disconnected twice through transfer. The 3rd call said I should call 833 back, using option 2 this time. A male agent stated a message was left (didn't have one) and transferred to the same agent from 6/21 for my verification issue. She couldn't help as the previous agent used a different system/different dept. She asked for a case # but I couldn't as no message was left (was previously told I had 3 cases). I don't want to call them back.

      Juanluis C******* was very helpful. After explaining what came across my monitoring service, he directed me as to what I should do. He answered all the questions I asked. He was a pleasure to talk with and as previously stated was very helpful.

      Juan was professional and efficient. My call was answered promptly, and he quickly assessed my situation and worked on a remedy in no time. He also had a wonderful sense of humor and was pleasant to work with. A win in my book.
