Horrible company. The worst business experience ever. This is a very fraudulent company. I never use the product but was charge every month as if I were using the product. When attempted to cancel, the company gave me a 1-800 number that would say it was not in service. I never seen anything like this. I can not believes they have a "A-" rating on at the better business bureau when they can get more than one star from client that actually deal with the company. If I could give the company no stars I would.

Change Healthcare handles the billing for the City of Plainview Fire/EMS Dept. Not realizing that my mother's bill had been paid by Medicare and her supplemental insurance, I paid the bill after receiving a second request for payment. I later discovered that the bill had already been paid, so I sent a letter to the address on the bill with documentation showing that the bill had been paid twice. I waited about two weeks and followed up with a phone call. They acknowledged that they did show that a refund was due and said that it would take 12 to 14 weeks to process the refund. That was in September 2022. I have now called nine times only to be told the same thing. I have been told numerous times that a supervisor would call me back, but they never have. I emailed their corporate office asking for assistance, and I contacted the City of Plainview. Their corporate office said it was the City of Plainview's responsibility to send a refund, but the city told me they have an agreement with Change Healthcare which stipulates that Change Healthcare handles the refunds. I have tried contacting the corporate office and the City of Plainview again but have not received a response from either of them.

This company is contracted with Medicaid in multiple states to manage their claim processing. They refuse to follow CMS guidelines and when we tell the state and provide the regulations, they do nothing. They believe their vendor knows best.
They have multiple databases and bounce you around to all of them even after you give the specific database that is the issue. Change Health Care corporate office has refused to respond to all attempts to resolve issues. Unless you are a payer and want to contract with them, they will not respond to you.
They have a database called *********** used by multiple states and payers. This database has been down for 3 three weeks. Change Health Care has no idea when they will resolve the matter.
They are over their head and should pause before adding more clients until their databases are operational and their employees are cross trained.

I am a physician, enrolling as a new provider through ON Change Healthcare. I can't seem to get the help I need to get the enrollment completed and work through glitches to actually get paid. The first agent I was working with dropped the ball entirely and did not complete enrollment after several months....it took months of waiting and not getting paid to figure out that she had not completed enrolling me. I spoke with a supervisor to change my account rep; she initially seemed like she would be helpful but then stopped communicating. I do not know where my account stands and what needs to be done with the remainder of the payers or what needs to be done to complete the process. I have an outstanding claim from ***** that was rejected at the level of the clearinghouse (ON Change). Instead of helping me look into it, the rep advised that I get in touch with support. I was on the phone with them for 20 minutes simply verifying my account (why this can't be a smooth, streamlined process is beyond me). I was transferred to another agent - then was "accidentally" disconnected before we even got the change to discuss the claim in question. Why do they not call back? They have my number. Seems I am always getting disconnected with these types of companies - is technology really that bad? Is it that they are outsourcing calls to India and the connection is poor? They should be able to call back when the call drops. Terrible customer service all around. Despise the healthcare system in America and cannot believe this is where we are at. Can't get support, can't get answers.

They called my wife the day of having a C section while she was still under anesthesia to try to sell her healthcare. They called her and said that they were Medicaid and we looked at the paperwork and found out they weren't. They called the room phone in a hospital the day of having a C section. I am just now finding out about this now. The agents name is Katherine S******. We are at ********** hospital in sandy springs Georgia. I called change healthcare to confront them about the issue and Cynthia was talking over me the whole time and hung up on me. Trash customer service and highly illegal. They are scam artists that intentionally try to steal information from patients under anesthesia. My wife is Hispanic and they thought she wouldn't fight it since she is of different nationality. We are franchisees, home owners and most importantly we are parents. They tried stealing information about me, my wife and my child. Imagine.
