I entered the 2022 song contest on January 25th, 2023. At that time they were still taking entries and advertising that there was still time to enter. It cost $25 to enter a song. I was instructed to provide a link to my song on a steaming platform, such as SoundCloud, as well as other general information. I made sure my link worked and submitted my entry. Theres no doubt that they can communicate with me because they send me advertisements frequently. They assured that every song would be listened to. Theres even a video that explains their selection process in which qualified people listen to each song multiple times. They recently announced the contest finalists but my song was not listened to. My insights on SoundCloud shows no activity in relation to this contest. I believe they are scamming hopeful musicians with their pay-to-enter contests.

In November of 2022, $62.51 was automatically debited from my credit card to renew my subscription to American Songwriter Magazine I sent an email to have it cancelled and a refund and I did not get a reply to my email of how to cancel the membership and receive my money back. In December of 2022, I called the ************ number that is on the website, to speak to a representative about cancelling my membership. And the person who answered the phone stated that this number and address was no longer for American Songwriter and that she did not have another contact or address to refer me to. I would appreciate American Songwriter refunding my money back, cancelling my subscription, providing an updated phone number and address for others who have memberships, and removing the outdated websites. Furiously Feeling,***************************

I bought a membership to Americansongwriter.com. Since my purchase of the membership which I logged onto as an annual auto renew, I have decided to cancel my subscription. On their website, they give no options to withdraw my payment information and cancel my subscription called a "Community Pass". There is simply no way to cancel the subscription on their website. When I try to delete my card, they say this is not permitted due to being an auto renewal. Indeed no option is given to cancel the subscription. When I go into the membership ship tab, they say that "no information has been" entered for this "Community Pass" membership. Online, they say that a cancel tab will be beside your membership. None exists. This looks like a banking regulatory issue. Maybe grounds for a lawsuit?

I am unable to cancel my subscription to American Songwriter Magazine.I signed up for their songwriting contest a couple of years ago, and somehow ended up with a subscription. Since then, I've lost/forgotten my password for their site.I've tried numerous times to recover my password to my account. Each time, after submitting their online form, it says that I will be emailed a link to reset my password. I've never received anything from them. As well, I've submitted a request for support using their online form and have never gotten a reply.I've checked my spam and junk folders. There's nothing there from them.I want my subscription, membership and everything in my name on their site cancelled.Their contact phone on the BBB website is incorrect. It belongs to a different organization. It's got an answering machine message for an employee at a college. In my opinion, this situation smacks of questionable business practice and irresponsible management.I refuse to be billed for something I don't want and would appreciate an apology and assurance that their contact information and online customer service forms are fixed and/or corrected.
