      My username on 247Sports is strakerak.I purchased a subscription at the end of 2021, to have it cancelled by 2022. I knew there was a no refund policy, but wanted my subscription to run out. The cancellation process is a pain, and doesn't allow for it to even occur. There is no online portal. You call in, and heck, sometimes you won't even get an answer. I received a charge on my credit card today for a new subscription. I did not get any email notice of this renewal, or nothing about an upcoming cancellation. In an attempt to ask them what was going on, I requested a cancellation (and did not get an email confirming it), but was offered a free year to the subscription.I don't want this. I want a refund. The cancellation process is painstaking and doesn't work. I want my money back. Username: strakerak

      I have a 247sports subscription that expires on 11/30/22. In what can only be viewed as an extremely predatory design, they do not allow subscription cancellation online. I have called 5 separate times, been on hold for 20+ minutes only to have my call dropped. I have also submitted a cancellation request through their online web form with no response.

      I was charged today. October 27 $75.18 My free trial ran out on October 22 which is a Saturday. 247 offices are closed on the weekend so there is literally no way to cancel your membership on the weekend. 247 offers no online cancellations which is unheard of. You cant cancel your subscription online. I attempted to change my card so they wont charge me and they still took my money. This is shady business tactics. I want a refund asap.       247 sports is very predatory about cancelling your subscription to the point that legal action should be taken, although I am not seeking it. 247 sports is a website/online only service, however to cancel your subscription they make you call a phone number to do so. This alone is to purposely make canceling inconvenient, I would guess in hopes of dissuading customers from cancelling. However, it gets worst then that. If you call the number provided they tell you "call times longer then 10 minute will automatically be canceled" which I have never heard of happening with any customer support service. Of course they have no intentions of answering your call in 10 mins. I am currently on my 6th try (well over 60 mins) and they still refuse to answer. Note that I called around 5-10 mins after they opened. They are basically refusing to allow me to cancel my service, while at the same time trying to waste my time in an effort to dissuade me from cancelling. This is predatory and something should be done to warn future customers.

In addition, it is clearly stated on our site that you can also submit a cancel request by emailing [email protected]. Yes, it was canceled after an hour and 30 mins and 10 phone calls. How long would it have taken to cancel by email, days, maybe weeks? This is a completely online service that does not allow a customer to cancel via their website, but of course you have to use their site to start a subscription. Please note that 247 Sports clearly set up their cancelation system to dissuade customers from canceling their service from sheer aggravation, inconvenience and time wasting. This should be noted so that future customers are aware of this practice.

      As detailed by numerous others, 247 Sports offers a 7 day free trial. You can only cancel by calling customer service or emailing. I have emailed 3 times with no response. I have called customer service approximately 7 times, been told avg wait time is 8 minutes, and then they automatically hang up the phone after 10. No one will pick up. I am concerned because the free trial will soon run out, and I do not want to be charged. If you need to see emails or a call log, please let me know.

      I signed up for a 7-day trial from 247Sports. When I signed up, it explicitly stated that I would not be billed until August 23rd. After using the service during the 7 days, I didn't feel that the service was worth the money for the subscription, as I didn't feel like I was getting any insider information. Thus, I went ahead and cancelled the free trial on August 22nd at 3:24 PM. However, I was shocked to learn that 247Sports already billed me for $75 at 3:21PM. I contacted 247Sports via email and asked for a refund since I cancelled. Unfortunately 247Sports is saying that they do not give refunds and I must keep the service until August 2023 This is outrageous, as I have no intention of using the service and would like for the subscription to be cancelled, effective immediately, along with a full refund of my $75. I feel like I was fleeced by 247Sports, who take advantage of ambiguous terms in their free trials to trick their customers. In addition, 247Sports makes it very difficult to cancel the subscription. You have to click through an endless loop of menus before it even lets you cancel. I cancelled service at 3:24PM and they billed me at 3:21PM. I easily would have cancelled before 3:21 if it wasn't for these deliberately cumbersome menus.

      I was due for a Renewal on Aug 16th, 2022, so I called to renew my subscription, wanted to talk with a agent. I called first on Aug 8th, no answer, no Voice Mail, then Aug 9, 10, 11, 12, no answer, the phone hangs up after 15 mins and you have to continually start over. Called 6 times on Aug 15, not one single answer, waited over 15 minutes each call to get disconnected. Called on the 16th and it stated all reps are bust over and over. The company charged me for the $****** renewal which is twice what I previously paid which was the reason I was calling. I also sent a Email on the 15th, no response at all. I would like my $****** returned to me ASAP. If you research this, it's a common thread and has numerous complaints for this exact tactic

      My username is *********. About a month ago I got a subscription to ***************, part of 247 sports. First week or two it was fine. I noticed that i went to respond to a post with a link to a ******* account, and it flagged it as spam, i tried again with a description of what it was to see if it was solved. It flagged me as spam again and when i went to interact again i found that i was on a timeout that lasted for about 24 hours. This same issue happened one more time and agian lasted for 24 hours. This third time it was lasting more than that so i emailed suport cause they don't answer their phone line. Got an answer saying "*****, At this point, it is for the best that you move on from the site. We have canceled your subscription" No explanation. I'm a new user and really like their content. It only flags me as spam when i fo it from my phone. When you're in a timeout they don't tell you for how long or try to improve their site so thst it doesn't happen, because i have seen other complaints from people who have had the same problem. And due to a problem on their site, apparently i get banned for not doing anything wrong.

They do not explain why you're timed out. Explain to me why I got time outs for sharing ****** from 247 writers. They do not tell you for how long your time outs are.       This is regarding a Sports Subscription which is scheduled to automatically renew on September 7th, 2022. They give a telephone number to call for service cancellation, but the call is not answered and call is cancelled after ten minutes, forcing you to start over. I have made numerous calls in the last three days with no result. I chatted with their support and they wanted me to pay them to "fix my computer" scam on top of a scam.
