      Ask that my service be terminated in June 2021. They did not terminate and continued to debit my account. need refund of $120.00 and the termination of my service. As support I emailed them 5 times since June 2021 and called them 4 times. After at least a 30 minute wait I never got through to they customer service person. ************ I can supply email documents to support my claim.

In addition, we have asked him to provide the last four of the card supposedly being charged by 247Sports. He has yet to supply us with each of those pieces of information. ********, please provide any other email that you might used for another account or the last four of the card that is supposedly being charged by 247Sports for a subscription in an email to [email protected]. That way we can identify a possible second account that you might have created and get it canceled to stop the recurring charge at once.       On July 5th, 2022, I signed up for 247sports via **************. I was shown a promotion that you could try it for July & August for just $****. Alongside that was a pitch that said you could try for 7 days for free and then pay monthly and I opted for that. I was taken to the payment screen where I could pick monthly billing or I could chose to pay anually and receive a discount. After seeing that one of the benefits of 247sports was a membership to **********+, I decided that I would go ahead and sign up for a year. As the free trial period ended, and I was sent a receipt for my anual payment, I attempted to sign up with **********+. However, their system could not verify with 247sports that my account had rights to that service. I opened tickets with **********+ to resolve the issue, but they eventually told me that this problem was with 247sports and I would need to open a ticket with them. I immediately did so via e-mail. Since 247sports had not responded to my email by the middle of the next day (July 13), I attempted to call them. Well, that not successful. They do not answer their support phone line. The recording says it will hang up on you after 10 minutes if no agent answers the call. It seems more like 15, but I attempted at least 6 times to reach them. Each time, the estimated hold time was less than 8 minutes and each time I was disconnected after 15 minutes. I continued calling the next day with the same results. Finally, an answer to my email that told me that I could not get the **********+ benefit because I had accepted the discount on the yearly membership. I NEVER would have agreed to sign up for this site if I knew that or it was clearly indicated. I thought that I was not able to use it duruing the 7-day trial period. But now that it has taken more than 7 days, they claim I cannot get a refund for the yearly amount (since I used 2 days of their "service). I'll never use their site, they need to refund the money.

They did refund the money, but only after getting the BBB involved. They claim they did not participate in a bait & switch scam in this transaction. I can say that it is the closest thing to a bait & switch scam I have ever encountered. You can see by their responses to all of these BBB cases what type of customer service they have. Once you agree to the fine print, they will attempt to take your money regardless of how satisfied you may or may not be. They'll tell you to call a number that they do not answer and has a fake message telling you that the average wait time is "x" minutes, when in fact, they never answer that call. They give you an email address you can contact for "support". If you think "support" is someone telling you that they don't care if you are happy or not, they got your money and they are keeping it, then this is your kind of company! Buyer be ware.

      I am currently a subscriber to 247 sports website. I am attempting to cancel my subscription, however, the process is made nearly impossible. The subscription is auto-renew and there is no way to simply end your subscription through your account on the website. You have to either contact the company over the phone, which they don't answer and disconnect after being on hold for 10 minutes. Or you have to contact them through email. They reached back on email and stated that I did not have a subscription through them, which is incorrect. They have set up a system that traps you and does not let you leave and makes it extraordinarily difficult to keep them from taking your money.

Still, it shouldn't require filing a complaint with the**** to prevent a company from stealing your money, which is what operating an auto-renew subscription service with no functional way of ending that service is. 247 sports has no mechanism for ending your subscription online. They require a phone call or an email. Except, they don't answer the phone (I called a dozen times, personally and never spoke with anyone) and the call disconnects after 10 minutes on hold. And I emailed them three times, only to be told three times that I didn't have an account. So I file a complaint with the****, and like magic, "oh look, we found your account." Top to bottom a garbage business model. I can't even accept that it's purely out of incompetence. I believe it's intentional, and I will not hesitate to tell anyone and everyone I know and meet that 247 sports is a company to be avoided like the plague.

      I have been a member of 247 sports for a couple of years. My card was charged $***.+ for annual membership which was "automatic" . There was no notification from 247 regarding this charge and it's one I have tried to cancel on at least 5 occasions. They say you must call to cancel but it's impossible to talk to a person and ultimately you are disconnected. I also sent an email requesting cancellation and reversal of the subscription fee. Still no response. Based on my experience and the comments of others this is obviously their business model. Ps. I just got an email response that they will cancel and refund minus one months charge. I told them to go ahead but I would file a complaint in any event since a full refund and cancellation was requested.

      I've been trying to cancel my subscription for almost 3 months via both phone and email with no luck. Every reputable website on the internet has a 'cancel subscription' button but not this scam of a site. The very first time I tried cancelling, I received an email response that my subscription was cancelled. Clearly it was not and still is not. Now, I can't get in touch with this joke of a company. Sports fans everywhere need to be aware of the shady practices of 247 Sports & take their business elsewhere. My next step is to report fraudulent activity to the bank issuing my credit card and make them aware that 247 is a scam. I will never subscribe to another service that won't allow me to cancel my own subscription.

      My account was suddenly put in timeout. 247Sports did not give a reason for the timeout nor did they say how long it would last. When I contacted their support staff, they did not answer any of my questions and canceled my subscription. I did not ask for my subscription to be canceled.

I refute their claim that I was spamming the site. I tried to link a post from another board, which I have seen other members do successfully, but my attempt was curiously marked as spam. As a result, my account was put in timeout. I do not understand why my post was marked as spam when I have seen others do the exact same thing. Even though my account was unfairly put in timeout, my question is whether the timeout is permanent. Thank you.       I have attempted to cancel my monthly subscription several times in the past three months. I've sent two emails (as their website instructs) and called three times. I've heard no response from the email, and when I call, I get hung up on after 10 minutes of waiting. I have no way to effectively cancel the subscription. I do not want to stop paying in case it impacts my credit score.

      I have tried to cancel my subscription multiple times. From numerous phone calls and holding for ten minutes to multiple emails, I have not received clarification or really any communication regarding the cancellation of my subscription. I emailed nearly a month ago and they never responded. I emailed them the same email again today, to hopefully get a response email that they did, in fact, cancel my account. With my renewal date approaching again, I just want to avoid any charges even though I have tried to cancel numerous times.

      I wanted to cancel my subscription to 247 in December of 2021 and learned on their website that the only way to stop the charges is to call a number that would always put me on hold whenever I called or to send them an email. I sent an email on December 21st of 2021 asking for them to cancel my account and they emailed the next day to say that my subscription was canceled. I was looking through my bank statements today and saw that I have continued to be charged for my account over the last two months and checked on the website that my account is still active. I would really like to cancel my account and receive credit for the two payments that have been charged from my account after they said that my account had been canceled. 247 attempts to lock you into a subscription and make it hard enough to cancel your subscription that you have no other option but to continue to pay. Even when they say your account is canceled, apparently they will continue charging your account.

      I am reaching out because as a loyal customer of 247sports.com for 6 years I had my account permanently disabled due to sending a grievance to the support team. **** Adams of Dawgs247 banned me because I asked him to do his job of moderating the board. The board has rules and I had been asked to abide by them and report anyone violating those rules so that I would not get banned. **** took offense to me tagging him on the board under a post in violation and saying "do your job". The reason he could not act on this violation was due to him in his own words watching a football game. He sent a long message saying that it was "****" that I asked him to do his job. I proceeded to report this as any customer not knowing that there was a policy in place that staff can ban anyone for anything which is a terrible policy. We reconciled and my ban was lifted. The next day out of the blue the support team permanently banned my account. I was not given a reason why or allowed to request a reason. It was brought to me by board members that **** gloated that I had been banned permanently. This happened while for over 2 weeks my emails have been ignored. I think it is terrible customer service and loyalty to 1. Allow staff members to ban paying customers from posting on a message board for any innocuous reason that is not posted a board rule. 2. Ignore a customer that has been charged for an entire year. 3. Antagonize that customer. 4. Accuse a member of spamming a board due to the number of posts in a day when most of those posts are responses to other posters and not a violation of any stated rules. I know I might not be important in the grand scheme of things, but this is a terrible precedent. There have been far more egregious things done on that board racist and bigoted in nature that did not receive a permanent ban.

In addition, he has had other accounts with 247Sports in the past where he was given a timeout for breaking message board rules as well. The breaking ** message board rules range from telling a staff member to do their job, to trolling and taunting fellow site members, to trolling fans ** other sites in the 247Sports network. At this point in time, it is simply for the best that Mr. ***** move on from 247Sports. We have canceled his subscription as ** today's date. In addition, we have made an exception and issued a credit for the most recent annual charge for his subscription. Their assertion that I was trolling is based on an assumption and their policy to allow staff to ban anyone for anything. Staff members have banned me from their sites while communicating in community threads that link to their board simply because their fans didn't like what I was saying. Trolling is saying things to intentionally get under peoples skin. I've been called names on the message boards just for having an opinion. The staff members pick and choose when they want to enforce rules. When you allow people to be banned for telling someone to do their job because they were not and were instead ignoring requests to remove bad actors because they were watching a football game. Then allowing someone else who is breaking the stated rules stay then you are on a slippery slope. I requested this information directly around why I was banned and I was ignored. It was brought to my attention that I was banned by ** for spamming the boards by simply posting too much in a short period, They are assuming intent and making a unilateral decision without having any discussion with me. This is not satisfactory. I want an apology and my account reinstated. As stated before there is no stated rule of what's considered spamming, I was not warned that I was viewed as spamming and how can someone spam a message board because they are interacting in a positive manner with other members. If I knew I had a post limit some of those posts not even on ******** I would have posted less. I was banned for meaningless things such as asking a staff member to do their job and to remove members who were breaking stated rules. If you allow staff to ban members because they feel like it or don't like what the person said then they there is not a rhyme or reason for timeouts. I took timeouts to have others who were antagonistic towards me just to have them banned before. The support staff have no idea why I was put on timeout. I've been banned for defending players and I've been banned for going after members making ******* and ****** comments. They blacklisted me because I hurt the staff members feelings and had the nerve to report his unprofessional behavior. This is a ridiculous stance to take with someone who values the product and is causing attrition from the site.
