On 10/28/22, I bought a full set of DriveGuard Plus run-flat tires and a maintenance contract from my Toyota dealer (Warranty: 5 years/65,000 miles). I adhered to the recommended schedule for service, alignment and rotation. July 2024, I went to the dealer because one tire was not holding air. A nail was found and I was told that all of the tires were worn and needed replacement. One tire qualified for the roadside warranty. One, at 2/32, was replaced under the warranty, and I was charged $122.10. The remaining two were between 2/32 and 5/32 worn. I was sent to an authorized Firestone dealer. *****, the service manager, spoke to someone at Bridgestone who calculated a 43% replacement offer. Appalled, I called Bridgestone. ******** denied that ***** had been given a percentage because dealers need to calculate the percentage themselves. I asked to be escalated and got ***, who supported ********'s claim. I believed corporate would need to approve the discount for the dealer to get paid. On 7/17, ****, a Bridgestone supervisor. calculated a 60% cost adjustment. I was present as he walked the store manager through the process of getting the percentage he'd determined. (Seems like ***** was telling the truth.) I had the tires 20 mths, and drove ****** miles. I calculated (attached) how much wear one might expect given the warranty over time and based on mileage. By both, the tread wear should have been at @7/32. Not one tire that was close. This would have made a fair usage percentage 27%-29% and yielded a warranty refund of 71%-73%, not 60%. In addition, I'd be charged me to mount, align and rotate tires that shouldnt be worn. After research, I learned others also experienced excessive wear, and found a class action suit regarding early and irregular wear on another Bridgestone run-flat. As a widow, I need to ensure my childs and my safety. With two new and two worn tires that is being compromised, along with my vehicles drive train. I was denied any further aid.

We have searched our warranty hotline call logs and reviewed 5 interactions with the complainant and/or dealers on the complainants behalf, below are our findings.

      Vehicle information: 2011 ****** Sienna (Mileage: ******)
10/18/22 - complaint reported the purchase of 4 DriveGuard Plus run-flat tires and a maintenance contract from ****** dealer (Bridgestone cannot comment on any additional maintenance contract provided by ******)

7/24 - complaint reported Vehicle was taken in for service, one (1) tire was leaking air.  At time-of-service ****** indicated tires were worn and needed replacement
      (1) Tire was not holding air due to a nail found in tire, the tire was covered under roadside warranty.
      (1) Tire measured at 2/32 and was replaced under Bridgestone Limited warranty
      (2) remaining tires measure at 2/32 and 5/32

7/8/24 - Bridgestone Agent spoke to ****** @ ****** contacted call center on behalf of the complaint. Agent advised the customer visits an authorized dealer for a free inspection.
7/9/24 - Bridgestone Agent spoke to ****** @ ****** contacted call center to provide tread measurements.  Agent confirmed (1) tire was covered by Road Hazard and the (1) tire measured at 2/32 was covered by warranty and advised of the internal warranty process.
7/11/2024- Bridgestone Agent spoke to ***** @ FCAC (******). Store reported measurements for remaining (2) tires (LR-4-4-5, RR-2-3-4). Agent Informed store neither tire qualifies for mileage warranty due to remaining tread depth and irregular wear but offered to goodwill proration.
7/11/24 - Bridgestone Agent spoke to complaint. She reported previous Agent offered 43% and did not feel the goodwill offer was acceptable, call was escalated. Complaint reported the tread measurements originally provide were wrong, Supervisor agreed to do a Mileage proration based on the correct measurements if the store contacted us.
7/12 - Bridgestone Agent spoke to ***** at FCAC who provided measurements (LR 4-4-5 RR 2-3-4). Agent offered to authorize (2) tires at 60% goodwill - best and final offer with the criteria that the tire condition matches the data provided by the store.

There can be many factors that contribute to tire wear. Improper tire inflation is one potential.  Even in vehicles with some TPMS systems, tires can be below the manufacturer's recommended inflation pressure without the knowledge of the driver which is why we recommend checking tire inflation pressure at least monthly.  Certain driving maneuvers can also contribute to a tire's wear rate.  Hard braking, fast acceleration, fast speeds, hard cornering and the like all can contribute to the overall life of a tire;as can road conditions and the materials used in road construction.  Finally, and especially with high mileage vehicles, suspension components and vehicle condition may contribute to irregular tire wear.  While one may be tempted to look to the tire construction as the sole contributor to the rate of tire wear, we offer that there are many other factors that are potential contributions.

As indicated in the warranty manual, If an eligible tire covered by the Limited Mileage Warranty wears evenly across the tread down to the tread wear indicators--2/32 inch (1.6 mm)--during its stated warranted mileage (as evidenced by the vehicle's odometer), the tire will be replaced with an equivalent new Bridgestone,Firestone or ***************** tire under the following conditions for a prorated purchase price. Tires with more than 4/32 inch (3.2 mm) remaining tread depth will not be accepted for Limited Mileage Warranty bs_fs_associated_brands_warranty_manual_eng_2024.pdf (bridgestonetire.com)

Bridgestone spoke to FCAC and ****** dealers who provided tread measurements for the two rear tires.  Based on these measurements the tires do not qualify therefore the complainant is not entitled to any warranty consideration. (1) tire with more than 4/32 and (1) tire with uneven wear, therefore neither tire qualifies for mileage warranty.

However, Bridgestone offered a goodwill concession on the purchase of two (2) of Bridgestone or Firestone brand tires at 60% off the current tire sales price.  This discount is offered off the cost of the tires themselves and does not include any installation costs such as balancing, mounting, applicable taxes, disposal etc.

In response to complaints reference of fair usage percentage and concern regarding the charges for mount and alignment.  Bridgestone has no obligation to provide remedy outside of that remedy prescribed within the terms contained within the limited warranty manual. Specifically Calculating the percent of Warranted Mileage and Calculate Replacement price bs_fs_associated_brands_warranty_manual_eng_2024.pdf (bridgestonetire.com)

Further we categorically deny any claims or reviews found on the internet which appear to be the foundation for the baseless assertions as represented in your letter. The reviews are unregulated and unverified.

I have reached out to Bridgestone to file a claim as my tires have worn out way too prematurely than they advertise and "stand by" their product. All 4 of my tires are completely worn out. I spoke to a representative and started a claim. Claim number is *******. They indicated that the next course of action is to go to their authorized dealer and have them inspect and measure the worn out tires. I have done that. The rep at Firestone agreed that these tires are completely worn out. We called Bridgestone, as they instructed, with the rep from Firestone and provided the detail of the measurements. The rep on the phone from Bridgestone, who was extremely disrespectful, said that's your problem, we are not covering worn out tires, tough luck. I have called again to try to speak to another associate because these tires should not have worn out at ****** miles, they advertise that they last approx. ****** miles. I would like to get the warranty that is promised by them and cover a new set of 4 tires!

Weve received the communication from you dated July 30, 2024, on this matter.  We appreciate the opportunity to respond.

We have reviewed the communications, which includes a review of our internal call center logs. In brief, what follows is our summary of the relevant content from those communications:

Vehicle information: 2022 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Concern related to original equipment tires: Alenza A/S 02 275/50R22
All Bridgestone tires are covered by Limited Manufacture Warranty
Tires installed as OEM do not have a Limited mileage warranty
      7/29/2024 - FCAC #****** reported tire measurements LF 1,5,1 RF 1,4,2 LR 1,6,1 and RR 1,4,2.

Bridgestone tires that come as original equipment on a new vehicle are covered by our **************** Warranty within the manufacturer's control. Tire wear life is highly variable depending on many different factors such as operating conditions, geographic location, vehicle maintenance, and tire maintenance which are not within our control.  Therefore, rapid tread wear or wear out is not covered under the **************** Warranty.

A copy of the Limited Warranty which would be applicable for tires supplied as original equipment can be found at ****************************************************************************************************************************************

The complainant is incorrect that the tires that were supplied as original equipment come with a limited mileage warranty.  Therefore, the complainant is not entitled to any warranty consideration for this tire condition at ****** miles or at any mileage.

Our agent spoke directly to Firestone location ******) on 7/29/2024 who confirmed all (4) have irregular wear (LF 1,5,1 RF 1,4,2 LR 1,6,1 RR 14,2).

It is important to note that irregular wear as a result of vehicle contributions (such as alignment) is not covered under the applicable Limited Warranty even on eligible tires. The terms of the Bridgestone warranty clearly state tires with uneven wear, tires not properly maintained, or tires impacted by vehicle contributions (such as improper alignment) would not be eligible for remedy under the Limited Warranty.

Therefor we were not able to offer any goodwill based on condition of the tires.

I purchased a New 2022 Honda CR-V that came equipped with new Bridgestone Ecopia tires sized 235/60R18. All of my driving has been on maintained road surfaces. At my ****** mile oil change, I was advised that the tire tread levels were at or below 3/32 and that I should replace them, being quoted $900 to do so. Obviously questioning this I went and also checked myself. This is on a car that I have only had for 18 months. These tires are listed on ***************************************************************************** as having a 50k Limited Mileage Warranty. I understand that the warranty does not cover tires not purchased as aftermarket but still to be told that they need replaced less then halfway through their average warranty period is absolutely crazy! When I called Bridgestone they assigned me a reference number of ******* and advised that they would look at it if I got an inspection done at a Firestone Complete Auto Care. Well I did that, and there is an overall lack of response from either party. The warranty line says they have not heard from the Firestone care facility, and the care facility states they have called and get a busy signal. The number for the call center is ************ and the Firestone auto care is ************. I am able to reach both easily during business hours, often calling bridgestone first and then immediately calling firestone This process is coming up on a month and at this point I am at my wits end trying to get everyone to do their job. I've been told that Bridgestone may help, but they are not obligated to under the warranty terms. I just want an answer on if they will help or not.

I want it known that all parties did make an attempt to resolve this. Unfortunately it was too little to late as I was forced to buy tires, and therefore do not have the old tires to take for inspection. At this point I will do whatever I can to avoid Firestone **** care and Bridgestone tires. The warranty process is inconsistent and there is not enough training, awareness, or resources with their retail partners to accurately and timely manage their claims. The consumer should not have to do all of the follow up and resort to the BBB or any other review site to get the business to take a look at their poorly manufactured merchandise. I am advising ***** of this issue as well Since they also partnered with Bridgestone for the *** tires.

I purchased brand new BFS Weatherpeak 225/60R17 tires from ****** on April 10, 2023 and had them installed on April 19th. After a year of driving rough 15K miles I noticed the tires had broken down really quickly. I took the car to ****** who measured the wear and determined the fronts were 3/4 out of 10 and the back 7 out of 10. ****** then spoke with Bridgestone and blamed the car for the wear saying the tires would have been fine if the car had been aligned and tires rotated. We had proof of alignment but could not prove a rotation so they voided any warranty and told us to buy new tires. They had a non-mechanic determine the car was broken and waived them from liability. horrible business!Receipts available but not uploaded

      Business response

      04/26/2024

We have received a notice through the Better Business Bureau for a complainant, *****************************.  We regret that the Bridgestone WeatherPeak tires installed on the complainant's 2017 ****** did not meet expectations.

We have reviewed the communications, which includes a review of two telephone conversations on this matter. In brief, what follows is our summary of the relevant content from those communications:

4/15/2024 ***************************** contacted the warranty department stating tires were purchase at ****** 4/19/22. At that time Bridgestone agent informed her ****** is an authorized dealer and advised **************** return to ****** for inspection.
4/24/24 ****** contacted the warranty department on Ms. ******* behalf. ****** reported front tires measured 3 and 4 32nds while rears both measure 7/32nds. Tires were installed at ****** current mileage 73543.
****** teammate confirmed there was an alignment check on 5/9/23 and an oil change 8/1/2023 but no records of rotations.
****** technician observed the tread was worn unevenly (Left front 4,5,3 32nds and Right front is pretty much bald on outside shoulder)indicating alignment issues

Hard braking, fast acceleration, fast speeds, hard cornering and the like all can contribute to the overall life of a tire; as can road conditions and the materials used in road construction.  Finally, and especially with high mileage vehicles, suspension components and vehicle condition may contribute to irregular tire wear.  While one may be tempted to look to the tire construction as the sole contributor to the rate of tire wear, we offer that there are many other factors that are potential contributions.

It is important to note that irregular wear as a result of vehicle contributions (such as alignment) is not covered under the applicable Limited Warranty. As indicated in the warranty manual, if an eligible tire covered by the Limited Mileage Warranty wears evenly across the tread down to the tread wear indicators--2/32 inch (1.6 mm)--during its stated warranted mileage as evidenced by the vehicle's odometer, the tire will be replaced with an equivalent new Bridgestone, Firestone or ***************** tire under the following conditions for a prorated purchase price.  However, tires with uneven wear, tires not properly maintained, or tires impacted by vehicle contributions (such as improper alignment) would not be eligible for remedy under the Limited Warranty.

Please be advised ****** is an authorized dealer of Bridgestone tires and is fully authorized to execute any warranty if tires have a warrantable condition.

While we understand your frustration, it appears the tire service professional determined vehicle contribution as the primary cause of the wear issue with the tires.  As such, the terms of the applicable Limited Warranty would not cover such a mileage shortfall.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

      With kind regards,

Bridgestone **************** and Warranty / AS

      Complaint: 21616294

I am rejecting this response because: the first thing stated is that the vehicle was aligned.  As noted we bought the tires and had the vehicle aligned, the company then blames natural conditions and states that the tires are worn due to improper care.  Yet we clearly show we took care of the tires and it is reasonable to expect tires to last longer than 12 months.  ****** had a person look at a picture and determine that the car must have issues yet the person did nothing more than look at a picture.  ****** also stated that Bridgestone calls the shots, not *******  Even if the car was out of alignment at some point within the 12 months, the expectation that the tires would wear down so fast shows that the tires were poor.  Bad alignment would not make the tire near bald in a couple months and the car is in fine working order.

The tires are bad and the fact the company blames the car, the driver and anything else possible shows it is bad too.  Seriously, the tires could not last 12 months and you say they are good?

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

      Business response

      05/01/2024

      We have reviewed the communications,
In your response you stated ****** also stated that Bridgestone calls the shots, not ****** this is inaccurate. ****** is an authorized dealer of Bridgestone tires and is fully authorized to execute any warranty if tires have a warrantable condition. If that ****** did not execute a warranty, the most likely cause is that the tire did not contain any condition that would be warrantable.

In our review of the calls and previous complaint, there was no mention of photos used to
observe tire condition. Bridgestone notes that photos alone cannot be used to determine manufacturing conditions and the physical tire is necessary and required as stated in the limited warranty manual.

It is therefore assumed; the tires were physically inspected by the service professional who determined vehicle contribution as the primary cause of the wear issue as confirmed by the tread measurements.

Regarding wear concerns, as indicated in the original response, there are many factors that contribute to tire wear and regular inspected and rotation are required. ****** reported no proof of rotation.

We are willing to waive the requirement for proof of inspection and rotation. However, we will not wave requirement that the tire must have worn evenly across the tread down to the tread wear indicators. Even wear as we define as Tires worn more than 1/32 inch (0.8 mm) difference in remaining tread depth between any two major tread grooves across the tire.

If a physical inspection was not completed, we would ask that you return to the ****** location for a physical tire inspection.

The complainant should provide the authorized Bridgestone dealer with reference number 1419335.

      Complaint: 21616294

I am rejecting this response because:  The tires were inspected and the front tires are worn all across the tire.  The pictures I refer to are provided by Bridgestone to show the tire person what to look for in uneven wear.  The tire person looks at your picture and then tries to match.  The person has no knowledge of the mechanical condition of the vehicle just tries to match wear to a picture.  The representative called Bridgestone, as you noted and was advised to not warranty the product by Bridgestone.  If Costcos representative was calling the shots, why would he call Bridgestone?  I also understand that natural conditions impact tires.  The tires are 12 months old on a car that had good alignment, confirmed by the company that just installed my new tires.  The company recommended we keep one of the Bridgestone tires as a spare since the other 3 are trashed.  It is crazy to think any natural condition can destroy a set of Bridgestone tires in 12 months, yet it is the driver, cars or natural conditions that caused the issue.  We do drive multiple AWD vehicles one with another brands tires and have no issues.  Crazy that all the bad things impact my Bridgestone tires only.

As mentioned above, I bought new tires today from a more reputable company and learned that the Bridgestone tires in question are a new release, 1 year old, and apparently many people had similar issues.  It is sad to say I will be joining a class action lawsuit against your company since it released a bad product and does not stand by it.  Apparently I am not alone with this issue and bad experience with the company.

      Sincerely,

Issue:I am writing to file a complaint against Bridgestone Tires regarding the premature wear of the Bridgestone Alenza 235-50r20 104 T tires installed on my Audi Q4, which was purchased from *************************** Audi on October 31, 2022.Details:Despite the low mileage of approximately ****** miles on the vehicle, the tread on the Bridgestone Alenza tires has worn down significantly to the point where the dealership has recommended replacing them entirely. This rapid wear is unacceptable given the relatively short distance traveled.Upon contacting Bridgestone regarding this issue, I was informed that the tires are not covered by warranty. However, I firmly believe that the wear on these tires is excessive and indicative of a defect in their manufacturing or quality. It is worth noting that replacement tires of the same model come with a 50,000-mile treadwear warranty, whereas mine have worn down in less than half of that mileage.Request:I request that Bridgestone Tires acknowledges the unusually short lifespan of the tires in question and takes appropriate action to address the issue. This could involve either replacing the tires with ones of acceptable quality or providing compensation for the premature wear experienced. Conclusion:In conclusion, I am deeply dissatisfied with the performance of the Bridgestone Alenza tires on my Audi Q4 and urge Bridgestone Tires to rectify the situation promptly. I hope for a fair resolution to this matter and trust that Bridgestone will uphold its commitment to customer satisfaction.

      Business response

      04/22/2024

We have received a notice through the Better Business Bureau for a complainant, *****************************.  We regret that the Bridgestone Alenza tires installed on the complainant's Audi Q4 did not meet expectations.

We have searched our warranty hotline call logs and cannot find any direct correspondence with the complainant or the Audi dealer (***************************) who may have attempted to contact Bridgestone on the complainants behalf.  Thus, we cannot further comment on any communications between Bridgestone and any of the Audi dealers.

There can be many factors that contribute to tire wear.  Improper tire inflation is one potential.  Even in tires with some TPMS systems, tires can be above or below the manufacturer's recommended inflation pressure without the knowledge of the driver.  We recommend checking tire inflation pressure at least monthly.  Certain driving maneuvers can also contribute to a tire's wear rate.  Hard braking, fast acceleration, fast speeds, hard cornering and the like all contribute to the life of a tire.  Road conditions and road construction materials can also be a factor in tire wear. And finally, the lack of proper and frequent tire rotation can make a substantial contribution to tire wear. While one may be tempted to look to the tire construction as the sole contributor to the rate of tire wear, we offer that there are many other factors that are potential contributions.

It is important to note that tires sold as original equipment on the Audi Q4 do not carry a Limited Warranty which would cover mileage.  A copy of the Limited Warranty which would be applicable for tires supplied as original equipment can be found at ******************************************************************************************************************** .  Therefore, the complainant is not entitled to any warranty consideration for this tire condition at ****** miles or at any mileage.

That said, Bridgestone is willing to review the circumstances surrounding the situation.  In order to do so, we would require that you take your vehicle to an Authorized Bridgestone location for a tire inspection.Authorized dealers can be found at www.firestonecompleteautocare.com or www.bridgestonetire.com.

Please provide the authorized Bridgestone dealer with reference number 1419851.  The retail location will examine the tire and make the determination of whether they believe a warrantable condition exists and will contact our technical support hotline at ************ to see if there is anything we can do to.

We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

We have received a notice through the Better Business Bureau for a complainant *****************************.

As indicated in the complaint, ******************** was given authorization for a goodwill adjustment November 2023 due to a concern regarding rapid wear on her OE tires.

We contacted the complaint directly via phone on 4/10/2024 and relayed the below information and will extend the offer.

It is important to note that tires sold as original equipment on the Infinity Q50 do not carry a Limited Mileage Warranty which would cover mileage.  A copy of the Limited Warranty which would be applicable for tires supplied as original equipment can be found at ********************************************************************************************************************

Bridgestone is willing to extend the offer a goodwill concession to allow for the purchase of four (4) of Bridgestone or Firestone brand tires at 50% off the current tire sales price. The complainant will be responsible to pay for any installation costs such as balancing, mounting, applicable taxes, etc.

To take advantage of this offer, the complainant must use an authorized Bridgestone dealer to purchase and install the tires.  Authorized dealers can be found at www.firestonecompleteautocare.com or www.bridgestonetire.com.  This offer is valid for the next 30 days.  The complainant must be the original owner of the vehicle.

The complainant can provide the authorized Bridgestone dealer with reference number 141521.  The complainant is strongly encouraged to call the dealer first to ensure that the appropriate tires are in stock and to schedule an appointment.  If the installing dealer has any questions, they can call our technical support hotline at ************.

If there are any further concerns from the complainant, they can contact Bridgestone directly at ************ and ask for the tire technical services group. The complainant can reference Bridgestone reference number 141521.
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint.

My complaint is regarding the rebate promotion submission period offered by Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC via TireRack.com. The Bridgestone rebate was offered for purchases within the period Jan *****, 2024. In the fine print and not apparent to consumers, the rebate must be submitted to Bridgestone rewards by 2/1/2024. The standard generally acceptable rebate submission time by the *** according to the *** is 30 days (********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************) and certain states have a prescribed minimum timeframes for submission. If a consumer purchases tires on Jan 21, they would only have 10 days (7 business days) to submit the rebate. Some consumers may not even have their tires installed by that time.I purchased a set of tires that were delivered on 1/18/2024 to my installer. I was denied the rebate by Bridgestone as I failed to meet their submission cutoff date. I was mailed a receipt and when I opened my mail in early February, I attempted to submit the rebate. The Bridgestone website produced an error message, indicating that the rebate wasn't valid. When I reached out to the customer ********************** team on 2/15/2024, I was told that the promotion period had ended on 2/1/2024. The time period to submit a claim is unreasonably and intentionally short in duration with the intent to exclude claimants. In comparison, two other tire manufacturers, ********** and Michelin, provide standard 30-days post-promotion submission timeframes for rebate claims. The manufacturer has the influence and responsibility to make this more visible and has the responsibility to support policies that are reasonable to allow compliance by consumers - anything less is unscrupulous and disingenuous. I will certainly never purchase Bridgestone or their affiliate brands again until this is corrected.

I have roughly ***** miles on my Volkswagan ID 4 and changes tires twice. I have Bridgestone Alenza and it is now almost bold. Tire warranty says covers certain ***** but when you call the dealer who installed it, refuses to do so saying electric vehicles eates tires like crazy and does not have any warranty.

      RE:  Case #********

Weve received your communication dated September 13, 2023,regarding the referenced complaint.  We regret the unfortunate circumstances the complainant has experienced and appreciate the opportunity to respond.

Based on a review of the complaint, we can provide the following feedback:

The complainant can refer to our web site for the warranty manual for their tires.  *********************************************************************************.

The complainant did not provide any information about the dealer who made the referenced statements.  We would need that dealers name and contact information in order to advocate on the complaints behalf.

It is not an accurate statement that tires on electric vehicles do not carry any warranty.  While the limited warranty offered by Bridgestone may vary based on the tire, there is nothing about an electric vehicle that would invalidate the limited warranty coverage.

If the complainant can provide this additional information on the dealer, we can see what we can do to intervene.

      With kind regards,
      Tech Services / JK

Thanks for the dealer information.  Note that tires that are Original Equipment do not have a limited mileage warranty (if the matter is mileage related).  It's a bit unclear what the issue with the tires may be from the complaint.  If the tires are Original Equipment, and you are inquiring about a mileage guarantee, OEM tires do not have a limited mileage warranty.  If this is the case, you can call ************ and describe how your OEM tires are wearing and see if the agent has any options for you.  However, since you said you've already replaced the tires it is assumed that you purchased the current tires in the replacement market and thus hold a limited warranty for replacement tires.

************************* is not an authorized Bridgestone retail location.  Thus, while they provided incorrect information about the limited warranty, that dealer would be unable to process a warranty for you.  You can confirm authorized locations by going to www.bridgestonetire.com and use the store locator.  There are many near your zip code.  We suggest bringing the vehicle to a Firestone Complete Auto Care store.

There is very limited information in this complaint regarding details of this matter.  According to the Bridgestone Limited Warranty, a Bridgestone tire that is experiencing a potential warrantable condition can be taken to any authorized Bridgestone retailer for an inspection and, if appropriate, action under the Limited Warranty.  (see ******************************************************************* for a copy of the Limited Warranty manual).  From a telephone call the complainant made to our call center, it sounds like the tire was subject to a road hazard which is not a covered condition.  However, any authorized Bridgestone retail location can confirm if a warrantable condition exists in the tire.  It need not be the original place of purchase.  Authorized dealers can be found by searching the Bridgestone web site, dealer locator function. (see **************************************************)
