I took my son to Urgent Care on September 30, 2023 for laceration repair. I paid $120 at the visit and owed $280. I called in to them and gave them my insurance information but they still took the $280 out of my account (which is fine because maybe they didn't have enough time to process the insurance info before it was drafted from my account). They even billed my insurance and my insurance has paid for the whole amount (total of $400) in late October but they still will not issue me a refund. They say that they do see that they have been doubled paid but that before they can issue a refund that my account has to be reviewed and to call them back in 10 days. Well its been 3 months and I've called them about 8 times within the last 3 months and I get told them same thing, which is to call back within so many days and they'll submit for it to be reviewed again. The last time I called was Feb. 6, **** and they said that they are not sure why it's still under review and I should have been issued my refund. They said they would send it up to management or billing and I should get a call back within ***** hours that way I wont have to keep calling them but its been 36 hours and I still haven't gotten a call or a refund. It seems as though someone in management or the billing department is not doing their job correctly. They have been doubled paid for my sons urgent care visit from me and my insurance company and I am due a refund.

I came in on January 11,2022 to get tested for covid. I waited 5 hoursThe upfront cost was $120 for the visit and for the test which was included in the price. I get back to the room where they test me. They tell me I can purchase a rapid test for an additional $50 . I said okay I would like to do that. I upfront paid the $120 upfront before being seen. I took the rapid test and they told me that they wouldn't go by the rapid test and they would have me wait for the normal test before I could back to work. I did the rapid test and 10 minutes later the test results came back positive. They pushed me out the door not letting me pay for the rapid test. So, I try to contact them to pay for it . I get no answer. I kept trying to call them because they keep billing me for it. I finally got time to go down there to pay for it and I wanted my results for the free test that was included with the visit. They said they couldn't give me the results . I think this is wrong because I paid for it. I think that they shouldn't be billing me because they refused payment the day of the visit by guiding me out another door and by refusing me to get results that I paid for. They also don't tell you that you can get the rapid tests free from the health department. They are making money off the government. I just want to not get billed for something that I didn't get my results for and by pushing me out the door and refusing payment of the time of the visit. I felt discriminated against and not told the truth. I want an apology and some of my money back. They refused payment and I'm not getting billed when they can't give me the results I paid for in the beginning.
