    In August of 2024 I sent in a TCM for repairs on my 2013 Silverdao 2500. It was not repaired properly so they had me send it back in under warrantee. On Nov 12 ASI sent it back, still not repaired. When asked what codes they checked for it was stated that they only generally repair the most popular 2 issues under the assumption that it will resolve the issue. Unfortunately the repair was still not complete and the TCM was sent back. My mechanic at **** * ********* then decided it was best to just order one off the shelf than to send it back. This cost over 800 for the TCM and over 400$ in EXTRA repairs having to take them in and out, troubleshoot,etc. After obtaining the new TCM the truck ran in perfect condition, therfor rendering this transaction maleficent. I was not able to obtain reimbursements in the amount of 643.43 for the original repair or mailing, or the labor cost at 185.00 per service to pull out and reinstall.

    This transaction took place over eBay , We specifically state in the listing which fault codes we address and the determination of the outcome prior to the repairs , The Tcm is located on the side of the radiator that is attached with 3 bolts and one harness plug connector , Taking roughly less then 5 minutes to remove from vehicle . 
    additionally , customer performed a chargeback with their credit card company rendering the transaction out of our control and into eBay and the customers card company , We were eventually informed the customers credit card company found in their favor . we have nothing more to add to this and will no longer be responding , customer needs to take it up with eBay and his credit card company .

    July 20, 2024 $853.99 I paid for rebuilt abs module that would be programmed to my car. After installing it myself I could not get the module to pair successfully/program to my car as claimed by the Automotive Scientific. I then took their module to Audi and had a professional try to program the module to my car and had no luck. I choose to have Audi dig deeper into the issue costing me thousands of dollars. Later Audi confirmed the module was faulty some 60 days after originally purchasing the module for automotive scientific. I then sent the module back to automotive scientific requesting a refund. But had no luck they stated the time had passed 30 days, but their abs module was not programmed correctly to my car as claimed when I purchased the module.

    I HAVE ATTEMPTED MANY TIMES TO UPLOAD 4 IMAGES TO NO AVAIL . I HAVE BROUGHT THEM DOWN TO A THUMP NAILL IN THE REQUESTED FORMAT AND YOUR SYSTEM WILL NOT ACCEPT THEM, SHOULD YOU WANT THESE 4 IMAGES , WE ARE REQUESTING AN ALTERNATIVE UPLOAD.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    automotive scientific never returned my calls nor delivered a product as advertised. They claim their abs modules are rebuilt and are plug and play this  was not the case. They did not program the module like they claim. I question if the module was even rebuilt properly. I was stuck with their module in my car while I sent my original module out with a different company who properly rebuilt the module.

    I tried to reach out on multiple occasions and left many voicemails about creating a plan and what we should do about the non working module. Trying to be very reasonable. I even bought a warranty on this product which they will not refund even after I sent them back their product. I feel like a paid for nothing.

    I paid for a repair service through Auto Scientific website. I followed the guidelines which stated to print out the R&R form, fill it out and ship to the address on the R&R form which is Automotive Scientific Inc 5168 Highway 11W Rogersville TN 37857-4220 A couple days after I shipped the item I got a phone call making sure I knew I purchased a repair service which Insaid yes and explained that I already shipped the FICM. They said ok great then disregard the letter you will get in the mail. One week after that I received a letter with a R&R form and a shipping label which had a different address then the R&R form that I printed from the website and mailed my part to. I then have been emailing and calling every day for 5+ days and have not been able to get ahold of anyone or a response to find out if they have my part or what the status is. I feel like I got scammed and now don’t know if I will ever get my FICK back which means trying to find a new one to purchase and pay over $2,000 for one. Any type of response or acknowledgement would only be the professional thing to do if it is truly a legit business.

    Our Website contact us and Forms information pages were updated in February 2024 , The repair service part in question was shipped per Fedex tracking that Mr. Moore emailed to us in July , Unless he printed the R&R form before February 2024 there is no way possible that any form could have been obtained from the website .
    We have not received the package in question nor have we had this issue with any other customers. Payment was refunded in full an email sent showing it was completed .

    I paid the company to rebuild a part. I sent the FICM part to them. They never repaired it or returned it, and I never received a refund. The print on the R&R form stated that if they couldn’t repair a faulty part they would refund but only charge $50 for their time. I have made several attempts to contact them and they do not answer. i sent emails as well. I saw on their facebook page that there were many complaints about similar incidents. I feel like this is a scam! I also included a picture of the address at the bottom of the form in which I was instructed to send the part, which is a Florida address. My son is 17 and works hard for the money the robbed him of.  Thank you for looking in to this.

    Your part arrived on March 29 ,

    On 4/4/24 one of our Technicians contacted a male and explained to him the amount of damage this ficm encountered .

    We were trying to save it from deeming not rebuildable and at that time informed him that faulty electronic components would first need to be sourced ,these are components that we do not stock since we do not normally see a failure , Components are difficult to source on a 20 plus year old vehicle, once sourced they would need to get ordered ,Once they are received we then begin the testing process again , unfortunately this takes time a lot of troubleshooting time .There was never any discussion of additional costs related to the enormous additional labor time involved ,  

    We have more time involved in this part then we normally would on any other similar part .We have since refunded your payment in full as of 5/15/2024

    I purchased a climate control valve From Automotive scientific on December 4th 2023 for a jaguar s type. I received it on December 11th. I was told by a representative from Autoecu that it had to be installed with a new climate control valve at the same time. Which I did. The climate control module is still not functioning. It puts out either boiling hot air or Artic cold air , nothing in between. I have tried to contact them multiple times over weeks and no response.     This was initially ordered on November 17 via eBay and  returned for refund on December 1st then reordered on Dec 4, 2023 and delivered working on Dec 11,2023 , He returned his core and webrefunded the core fee on 1/12/24.
    In order to ship the correct part we obtain the customers vehicle identification number and then ship a pre tested remanufactured working climate controller this occurred twice with Mr. ******** , almost 4 months have passed with the sale originating via ebay and we like to keep the correspondence via the sales channel but we never received any correspondence via eBay .We include installation information and in this case there is a blend door calibration that must be completed upon installation.
    The blend door directs air flow and temperature synching .
    We have recently spoke to Mr, ******** 5/21/24 and his demands are not reasonable and cannot be met. He wants us to ship a replacement without first returning the current purchase.  
    We informed him that his warranty is currently in place but we also explained to him that it is extremely odd that his original climate controller has the exact same symptoms as the first and second climate controller he purchased from us. We additionally suggested he bring his vehicle to a Professional Automotive Technician since he was performing this work on his own and we feel they could supply him with the troubleshooting needed . He disregard that idea and demanded we ship a replacement immediately . We asked him to repurchase at our website and we would refund the purchase once he returned the  current climate controller he is still in possession of , He also declined that, At this time those are the only options we have available . 
    I also want to address we never received any correspondence from the BBB about this concern, Any time we are sent correspondence from BBB they get answered on time and thoroughly you can check our history and we checked our spam folders and nothing was received .

    We explained the entire process as it occurred , We responded to each complaint , 4 Times with the Attorney General of Missouri and now twice with the BBB , 
    We offered a resolution in our original responses , All amicable but refused by the purchaser  ,

    We will not be shipping an 3rd additional climate controller unless the one he has in his possession is returned or it can be sent in for warranty inspection  or he can repurchase then refunded once the return is received .
    Additionally he can return for refund and purchase elsewhere .

    I am not satisfied with the results. Automotive scientific has put me in a bad position. They said I could send the unit back for an undetermined amount of time. Leaving my car down for who knows how long. Or buy another one from a company that has shown that it is untrustworthy. So I am exploring other avenues. It looks like they get to rip us off.

    I purchased rebuilt Ficm from automotive scientific in November 23. After its arrival the mechanics found some other problems. Turns out the Ficm had caused some other issues. I returned the Ficm to AS along with my old unit. I enclosed a letter from the mechanic and from me with the order number and requested contact. Since then I have tried to call them 10 times, no answer. I emailed a form from their website requesting contact. A few days later I sent another email to the website, no response. I need my truck. They will not talk to me. The Ficm cost ******. That amount was deducted from my account as soon as I placed the original order. I am so frustrated and have lost work since I no longer have a big dually to do the work I do. Please help

    In regards to your concern and in response to this complaint 
    We recently received your ficm for warranty consideration , At the time of arrival and a few days thereafter we were hit with severe weather snowstorm those issues have held us up slightly , 
    To address your concerns , we have throughly tested the ficm and found it to be operating properly with no fault codes.
    I want to make it clear that your note you supplied to us with the warranty and what your lack of saying in this dispute makes it sound like you changed parts due to the ficm we supplied and that is not factual , You sent your ficm for repair to an inexperienced place and we will accept it as a core return as it is faulty .
    Your actual current continued problem is with your ficm Wiring harness or your main wiring harness 
    I suspect this is why you agreed to have your mechanic first replace your Fuse box which did not correct your problem , You needed your ficm replaced , This is where an experienced Diesel troubleshooter technician that only works on these trucks would come in and inform you that it common for your truck and similar trucks as your to have this problem with the one or both of the harnesses chafing and shorting , this causes the ficm to fail . If this is not taken care of it will cause failures with each ficm installed and additional issues within the truck . We reached out to your mechanic first and had to leave a message , We have not had a response . This link and many others like it on the internet would lead you to information to assist you on the final leg of resolving your issue

    I returned a faulty part with permission,to these people and they kept the part and my money. All attempts to resolve this have been unsuccessful, although they admit owing me they have yet to refund my money,it has been months. This is the most dishonest business I’ve ever dealt with,l believe they would tell a lie if the truth sounded better. Thanks for your attention to this matter.

    Here are the facts ,
    Customer purchased via Ebay in June of 2023 then decided to do a chargeback in October 2023 ,We have a 30 day return policy and a 1 year warranty ,after 30 days the warranty is available for any faults that occur , This chargeback shows to still be open via Ebay we couldn’t refund since we do not have refund capability when a chargeback is opened .

    Automotive Scientific Inc. received 799 dollars from me for a part with a core charge of 150 dollars. I received the new rebuild part in July of 2023. I sent them the old part back on time for my refund and have not received my core charge refund money as of today, 11-1-2023. Can you please address these concerns? I followed their instructions, and they got the old part back within 15 days based on their policy.

    We refunded him on 9/22/2023 back to his original payment source , It is not $150 , It is clearly stated at our website within our listing description that the Core refund we offer is $125 we also stated this within the  packing slip included in his package ,which is exactly the amount we promptly  refunded ,

    I purchased an actuator rebuild on 8/22/22. This service was warrantied for 12 months. About the 11 month mark the part failed again. I sent the actuator back and it was repaired (taking 3 weeks to complete) I had to pay shipping back to me. I installed the part on the truck and it failed within 20 miles of driving the truck again. At this time I finally got in contact with a technician and told him what was going on. He said that they would fix the issue, to just send the actuator in with ATTN: Will. Said it would be ready within a week, At this time we are at almost 2.5 weeks, they wont answer the phones. The labor involved with the removal and install of this part is time consuming and now I have been without a truck for about 8 weeks within the last year waiting on this company to rectify the issues. Now I have no actuator (which means I can not drive my truck). I would like a full refund and my actuator sent back to me.
