The City of Hamlin does business with CWS for our dumpster services. It took multiple conversations with Rose (wonderful employee) at City Hall to get a replacement for my Knox Waste Metal 4 yard dumpster. I ended up with 4 -1 yard trash cans (Rose advised that was in error). I couldn't get CWS to empty but 2 of the 4 trash cans. Rose and I discussed me paying a commercial fee and receive a commercial metal dumpster in place of the 4 - 1 yard trash cans. CWS on 2 occasions have tried to replace our 4 trash cans with a 2 yard metal dumpster. I contacted Rose to see if I could just keep the 4 trash cans since CWS only want to give me a 2 yard metal dumpster and I will not pay for a 4 yard and only get a 2 yard. Today, again CWS only emptied 2 of the 4 and I had to call City Hall to have the other 2 empty. I have put in a complaint with CWS on their website. If CWS does not wish to empty the 4 -1 yard cans then they need to supply me with a 4 yard metal can.

Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/05/24) */ "On February 1st 2022, County Waste Service (CWS) was awarded the municipal waste contract of Hamlin. CWS is in direct contact with the city employees of Hamlin in regard to waste collection as the City of Hamlin is our customer rather than the residents of the city (complaintive). We were notified by the city that one of their customers was in need of 2 waste collection containers. One of our employees then delivered (2) 96 gal poly containers to **** N Central Hamlin Texas, the service address of ***** ****. Approximately one week later we were contacted by the City of Hamlin that (4) containers were located at the address listed above, which was not what was initially delivered. ***** **** and her husband then contacted the City Hall of Hamlin and requested to swap their current (4) Poly containers for a metal container. In their opinion, each container they currently had was equal to 1yd of space, which was incorrect. (3) 96gal Poly carts are equal to 1.5yds of space. In result, we delivered a 1.5yd metal container to their address which was promptly removed due to ***** **** requesting her 96 gal poly carts back. She was under the impression she was currently receiving 4yds of space with the (4) poly carts but she was not. With this being said, CWS has worked diligently with Hamlin in order to restore the satisfaction of their customer. This matter is out of our control as per our contract with the City of Hamlin and have acted only on what was requested by the City of Hamlin as they are our customer rather than ***** ****. Complaint Case #: XXXXX Consumer: ***** **** Case Opened: XXXX-XX-XX Thank you, ****** ********
