This company is taking advantage of young minorities. They bring you to loud meetings, give you false hope and sell you a dream, "if you work hard enough and get enough people on their team you will get paid. Constantly talking about how you have the potential to make 6 figures. I payed $199 on February 22, and I would like to get out of this uncomfortable position and part ways with the company.

My friend got me an interview with PHP Agency, and I got the job. **** welcomed me to the team and informed me that I needed to pay a small fee to start with them, pay for the study tools for the insurance exam, and the exam itself. I felt extremely pressured, like I did not have a choice based on how he put this, so I paid the "small fee" of $199 and the fees for the exam and study tools, scheduled my orientation with them, and went home. On February 17th, ***** confirmed my orientation for the next day, and at the orientation, she told me I had a set of steps I needed to complete before February 22nd to receive an award at their event. One step required bringing 3-4 of my family or friends to the office for them to meet. She also had me provide the names and numbers of those close to me, saying we'd call them to explain my new role and she assured me they wouldn't be sold anything. She had me call my boyfriend to come in and meet them, but he refused, thinking it was suspicious. She then proceeded to call the contacts herself, and got one of my friends to agree to attend an event with me on February 19th. Then, she insisted I pay for a "Big Event" happening in August in ***** that had to be fully paid by February 22nd to get the award. I told her I couldn't afford it due to my limited cash as a college student, and when I asked her what the pay was like for this job, she said the job is commission based with no hourly pay. They seemed more focused on recruiting then on selling insurance. After filling out a goals sheet, the orientation was over and something about all this felt wrong to me. So, I called ***** about an hour after the orientation to inform her I wouldn't be continuing with the company. She aggressively tried to change my mind, but I stood firm in my decision. They contacted my close friends and family this week, trying to recruit them. I am demanding my $199 back from this company for trying to trick me into being a part of their unethical business.

I am rejecting this response because: I just received the letter in the mail yesterday regarding PHP Agency's response to my complaint and sent an email to the email address they provided in their response. I have not received a reply from them yet, but I do not want this case to close until I have received my refund. I will only accept the response made by the business to resolve this complaint when they give me my money back. My email address is *************************** if there is any more information that can be provided to me.

So I recently joined PHP and it all seemed great but after closer consideration, I came to the conclusion that PHP is not the place where I want to make business because it is not an Ethical business. I wish to get my $199 back for the initial course that I payed.

I was brought in by a friend who told me he is also trying out to be a part of PHP. So I wanted to try it out. I was skeptical from start when they show me how money is made to you. I went to this orientation class and they showed videos on how this can be for you without showing how it works. They kept saying "bring people in to work under you!". They repeatedly say it with out saying what you actually do. I been signed on for a few days now and this is all I know: 1) bring everyone I know in, 2) if you want to be part of the team you have to pay $199 to start, and also pay for everything else they offer including test and books which adds up to more money THAT YOU ARE SPENDING and if you fail you must pay again, 3) no one has went over with me on how to attract clients and create base for myself, 4) if this is a multi billion dollar company, why are we as people paying for everything to start when we have nothing to begin with, 5) this MLM get rich scheme is a pyramid that says you can get $10,000 the first month and go from there. If that was true, everybody would jump on this and I know that it is not. After ****** employees and looking at the charts, only 5% makes it while the others don't.I did my research and found out this a company to stay away from. There are so many videos on ******, Tic tok, X, ******** Instagram, ******** etc I found where people say they to stay away and tell their story. I just don't want part of this and I suggest anyone who is reading this to look it up themselves. Save yourself and don't be fooled like me. I just want my refund of $199 and I have no employee number. That's all.

On December 4, 2024, I was on ******** seeking additional income after applying to over 300 jobs without success. A PHP associate contacted me, claiming they knew someone looking to hire. I was invited to an office and informed this was a 1099 position. I explicitly asked if it was a sales-based role and was assured it was not. I was told that working a maximum of 12 hours per week could generate income equivalent to a 40-hour paycheck.During the presentation, I was asked for my payment information but initially declined. At a follow-up meeting, I was further reassured that I wouldnt need to engage in direct sales, as clients could be matched with me. However, this was untrue. When I eventually provided my card information, the associate swiped the contract away before I could fully review the fine print, denying me the opportunity to make an informed decision. This experience was highly misleading. The role required substantial sales efforts and time commitments that were not disclosed upfront. As a student and mother, I would not have proceeded had the opportunity been presented honestly. I request a full refund to move on and find legitimate work. This deceptive practice exemplifies the hallmarks of a pyramid scheme, exploiting vulnerable individuals under false pretenses.
