I am writing to report Geo Van Lines, LLC - who was assigned to me via Broker ************************* for my recent move from ******, ** to **********. The driver did not properly cooperate with the exchange of funds, which he tried to coerce me into paying a Zelle account that was not associated with Geo Van Lines. Once I properly paid Geo Van Lines, he displayed extreme hostility and rudeness. When I voiced my concern about the state of the broken items, he refused to listen to my concerns and seemed impatient throughout the unloading process until he stormed out of my home and left before the job was finished. After he brought most of the items inside - I had asked about a few missing items, the driver invited me on the truck to show me that there was nothing left there, when there were items that were wrapped and could have been mine that I voiced as missing. Instead of letting me point those items out, he shoved me out of the way, closed the truck and left. The damages include broken furniture/tv, scratches on wooden surfaces, and several damaged personal items, some of which hold sentimental value. One of the missing items is a family heirloom chair that my adopted grandmother made for my father when he went to college. That chair was passed down to me when I went to college and was intended on being passed down to my children. It is essential to address the conduct of the driver responsible for the delivery. Such behavior not only tarnishes a company's reputation but also raises concerns for the safety and well-being of customers.I have already started the claim with cafcps.org. A move of household goods with Geo Van Lines around $4000 damage was due to negligence and failure to use ordinary care. Not only were our items damaged but damage to landscaping and the interior of our house. I could attach photos but there were 22 items damaged and numerous pictures of the other damage.

The worst moving experience ever. There was no pre-move survey, the packers were inexperienced and acted like they didnt understand/speak English except the driver. They made comments in Spanish thinking we didnt understand. They showed up on 11 Jul 2022 at 1 pm with a truck that was too small. They strapped our king size mattress to the outside of the truck. They didnt finish packing the truck until 5 am the next morning. We did the majority of the packing ourselves prior to their arrival but they were not happy about having to finish it up. They made several calls back to their dispatcher for cost adjustments for supplies and labor which increased the cost of our move by $5000. They were brokered for us through Safe Ship Movers (they are NOT a moving company as advertised) under EcoVan Lines, but we also found out when unable to reach them they went by Geo Van Lines as well as ******************************** They have never returned a call or answered an email. Upon receipt of our belongings on 22 August 2022, there was significant damage to several antiques to the tune of $7000, crushed and open boxes with broken glassware and missing items, and we discovered later, a box that wasnt even ours which we were never able to return. After filing a claim thru CAF Moving Claims for damages, we were informed we would only be reimbursed $214 for repairs. Please note, there were no detailed descriptions or additional notations on the inventory sheets denoting damages at origin or weights upon which they based the reimbursement. Please let others know this company has no respect for the property they move and should be put out of business!

I paid this company in August of 2022 for a move from TX to **. There was misguided communication and a lack of honesty and transparency during the entire engagement with them. Upon LATE delivery of my items, the movers damaged multiple items as well as the walls of my dwelling! I filed a claim and was awarded the settlement-despite being grossly low for the labor charges in **. I was told in writing via email that I would receive the settlement in ***** business days and it has been MONTHS. I can not get anyone to pick up the phone to address this issue!

Geo Van lines LLC was hired by safe ship movers as a broker who we contracted to move us from Texas to Florida in May. We paid over 17k with extra pricing to pack our TVs, piano and other expensive items. When our shipment arrived we had extensive damage to multiple pieces of furniture, 3 TVs were cracked and destroyed. Mattresses damaged and other broken pieces. Boxes were all bent and damaged. Cast iron legs on tables and ottomans were broken off. The mover (Eli) and his team commented many times and Eli stated that he sent pictures of the way the truck was packed and damages while unloading the truck to the dispatcher at Geo Van lines. I do not have copies of those messages. Just what Eli told me. I filed a claim in June to their insurance company (cps-movers) per their instructions. I have everything documented in email. The insurance company has reached out many times and have told me in emails that they have not received a response from GEO Van lines. I have sent multiple emails to safeShip movers, the insurance company as well as to Geo Van lines. I am also not receiving any response from Geo Van Lines. In a recent email I sent asking for a status, I received a message stating that the individual that sent me the claim information from Geo Van lines blocked my emails. I called Geo Van Lines on 11/3 and left a message with my claim number asking them to please call me with a status on my claim. A direction that I was given by safeship movers and the insurance company. I have not received a response The damage is roughly around $10k.

Geo Van Lines picked up the contents from my apartment on May 30, 2022. I was in the hospital and my neighbor was present when the truck arrived. Moving Depot was assigned to deliver to Ohio, which they did August 14, 2 days past the 45 days after first ready date. Items were damaged: a desk, a bookshelf, the front legs to dining chairs. Worse, items were missing: my grandfather's trophy mounted mule deer head, and the back rests/ back legs (one piece) to disassembled dining chairs, miscellaneous kitchen items (my mom's antique wooden spoon, ceramic butter holder). Nationwide Moving was the broker and listed two animal heads. Geo Van Lines listed nothing. One animal head arrived, one is missing. Please see photos. Mouflon sheep head made it to Ohio; deer head did not.

I do not have the names, only the phone numbers. ************ initiated contacting me by text: June 30 he informed me that first ready date was June 29; 45 days for delivery = August 12 delivery date; he also confirmed the shipping address to Shaker Heights, Ohio. On July 7, when I asked for confirmation of the August 12 delivery date, he said he was "working on it" but could not confirm. On July 11, he asked for the delivery address which means they failed to honor the June 30 communication. I got no response from my calls on July 26, Aug 8,12, and 13th. 972.590.6706 also failed to reassure a delivery address of August 12. On on the morning of August 12, I failed a complaint with FMCSA for non-delivery per contract; at 6:05PM 214.296.9119 called saying the delivery was in route. IF they had only not KEPT ME IN THE DARK and MAINTAINED COMMUNICATIONS, I would have not complained. I honestly thought they were not going to deliver because they did not return my texts or phone calls. I thought Angel with Moving Depot was a scam because no one forewarned me that it would be a different company making the delivery. When Angel finished unloading, I told him items were missing. He did not give me any form to fill out to say what was missing. Because Geo Van Lines had already failed to keep open communications, I expected they would continue to ignore me. So, I filed a second complaint regarding the missing items on the 15th. Geo Van Lines failed to respond to the BBB. BBB closed the case Sept 23; Geo Van Lines then responded October 4. They complained that I didn't follow their rules. I have done everything they asked of me. 792.872.0465 got $500 illegallyOUT OF CONTRACT from me because if I hadn't paid, they would have kept my belongings hostage. 214.296.9119 acknowledged they had spelled my email address wrong. This same number told me to send pictures which I did. Then Geo Van Lines complained that I sent the pictures. They need to not complain when the customer does what is asked of them. I received no form to fill out until August 30, more than a week after my initial complaint. To repeat, Angel the driver left me nothing to fill out in regard to the missing items. Nationwide Moving Services listed the deer head, but somebody at Geo Van Lines saw something of value, wanted it, and took it. Also, the disassembled chairs are all missing their backs and so I cannot reassemble them. I did receive things that were NOT mine. So, someone else has the backs of my dining room chairs. My mom's antiques will never be seen again. Geo Van Lines is taking zero responsibility. I have already told two other families to stay away from Nationwide and Geo/Eco Van Lines. These companies are NOT to be trusted. All the photos and forms have already been submitted.

On June 27, 2022, Seamless Movers\Eco or Geo Van Lines delivered my sons belongings to him in Ohio. $1100 cash was given for the last installment of our moving contract that was set up through Safe Ship. Not only were things broken, but bed parts were missing and a garbage can full of cleaning supplies was missing. They said they would be in touch. After days of hounding, I finally get a claim form to fill out, but in the mean time, the dispatcher and I talk and he sends me pictures of the missing bed parts that he has. He claims he will send them out that next week. That's been since July 1st. I still do not have the missing bed parts, that without it, a less than year old bed is useless. I've tried calling- they hang up on me, won't tell me who I need to contact, and won't send it via UPS with COD that I'm willing to pay for as it will be cheaper to do that than buy a new bed. I contracted with safe ship in May,(paid $759 on credit card) they give your move to carriers, and a Eco/Geo Van Lines( paperwork and email says Eco, but when you call they say Geo???) picked us up in New Orleans on May 26th, ( paid $800 in cash) they stored the stuff in a warehouse for it was supposed to be for 20 days, but since the delivery date was not on the day we needed it- it was like 25-30 days of storage, then they deliver on the 28th of June, 11 days late. I paid them the last $1100 in cash owed. Now- no one will tell me where the missing stuff is, answer the phone, or help in any way. When I was trying to find out why they were late delivering, I started to feel like the whole thing was shady.... Got bad vibes and stories that were lies. I just want the bed parts.... Who has them and where I have no clue. Is Geo to blame? have several phone numbers and names- maybe you'll have better luck. I did file a claim, and then when I got the response, it was for $23.70, so I appealed it. Which I have never heard a response from..They are lying about not being able to find bed parts, as the warehouse dispatch sent me pics asking me if they were our bed parts.... this whole ordeal has been terrible and I would take them to small claims court if that didn't cost me more money! Who can replace a bed... parts could not be ordered... and all the broken stuff for $23.70 all because they claim it goes by weight????? But the dispatch refused to ship the bed parts UPS because they weighed too much?? I even offered to pay the UPS shipping.. I mean really. Please post all the responses and case on your website to save someone else the turmoil and money!!! It is just ridiculous! A huge scam these people have going on...

Geo Van Lines was contracted in June of 2021 to move to Maine. Geo Van Lines missed their arrival deadline by 2 months. When their driver arrived, he attempted to extort money from me and refused delivery to my home. I had to pay out of pocket for a UHaul to do it myself. On top of that every single package I had placed with them was severely damaged. I have hundreds of photos. The police were called and there are police reports in Presque Isle Maine and a business complaint with the Texas AG. I want a full refund for every dollar I was defrauded.

On 05/12/2020 Geo Van Lines picked up my furniture from ************************************ Texas (**************************) for delivery to Orlando Florida. The amount of $1171.20 has been charged to your credit card. The Authorization Code for this payment is ******. The Transaction Number is ********* *************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Job Number ********** Customer Name Carrie C******* Date & Time (EST) 05/12/2020 09:37:03 PM Upon delivery, several heirloom wooden pieces were broken and the upright piano was missing. The agreed upon price for the move on delivery was $587.86 after the above payment of $1171.20. Total = $1758.06. The furniture was insured for $15,000 at Olympic. With persistence and several phone calls, the piano was found in a warehouse and a picture sent of part of it, but the moving company refused to deliver it to Orlando. I hired a piano moving service and paid $1200 to find out it had fallen off a truck most likely and had one leg broken off into the keyboard which would cost specialty repair of up to $5000. I filed an insurance claim with the CAF CPS as instructed 08/29/2020. I received back a statement claiming by weight, the damage pay out was $160 and to receive that money, I would have to sign a waiver not to sue the company. My piano weighs at least 500-700 pounds, not to mention the couch with sofa bed which probably weighed as much or more. I did not sign it and tried to point out that just with the broken piano, the insurance payment was off by a factor of 10. I received no reply and no recompense for the 0.60/lb insurance payment guaranteed in the contract. I have yet to sue the company or file a police report for theft due to emergent family issues such as death of my father and illness of my mother along with the covid pandemic. Please assist me in resolving this matter. Thank you.
