    I financed a truck thru truckmax for less than a year before having mechanical issues. Which eventually led to having issues with the transmission. Decided to use the *** service center to fix the issue. In turn they the transmission needed be replaced. Took them a month to fix the issue only to find out less two weeks later that they had replaced it with another bad part that I had paid for!!!! Turned it on again to so that they get fix their wrong only for to replace it with another bad part. They refused to take responsibility and expected pay for a tow for truck that I could not move because of a bad transmission that they had supposedly replaced twice!!!!

    Thank you for leaving your BBB review. In your submission, you describe having issues with service and payment. We would like to note that these are separate issues.

    To clarify, every vehicle sold at our dealership comes with an 18-month/18,000-mile Limited Warranty (whichever comes first). This warranty covers internal lubricated parts of the engine, transmission, and differential at no additional cost to you. If any issues arise outside of the warranty coverage, customers are welcome to take their vehicles to any third-party repair shop of their choice or they may service their vehicle with us. According to our records, your vehicle was brought in for transmission replacement in December 2024, which was covered by an initial down payment, with the remainder broken into scheduled payments. The unit was returned on January 22nd, and we replaced the transmission under a vendor parts warranty for the previous part we installed. There are no tow fees charged to the account except for an impound fee from 2023. Furthermore, on March 25th, it was noted that the repairs were complete and the vehicle was operating.

    Regarding your account, in compliance with the Texas Business and Commerce Code, Chapters 9 Sec. ***** and Sec. *****, we reserve the right to take appropriate action regarding the vehicle due to non-payment. Please note also that MEI Auto Finance, Inc. reports all payment history, including both on-time and late payments, to major credit bureaus.

    Dates are wrong. In the reply it was march 2025 not 23 and I voluntarily surrendered the truck due to negligence to service the truck after serving it twice.

    My car has not been working for the past 3 months and only had it a year. They finally decided to "fix" my car and said it was the engine. Never had any issues with the cooling system prior to my car breaking down but they claimed they had to fix the thermostat as well. Paid to get it fixed all for me to pick it up and now the fuel gauge no longer works. Didnt have any issues with that prior and they said my fuel pump looked fine when i spoke over the phone but when i got there they said i would need to fix that as well. Not even 4 days after that the engine overheats and shut down on the highway with me and my babies. **************** skills are poor and nobody wants to help in any way. I have lost two jobs because of my car not working and have spent over ************************** lyfts for the past 3 months. All they care is about money. Even ******* the service manager said he refused to help in any way. I never would have went through a dealership if i knew i was going to be sold a lemon and now my credit will be screwed because they dont know how to work on cars.

    When you purchased your vehicle, it came with a limited warranty, which covers the lubricated parts of the engine, transmission, and differential for 18 months or ****** miles, whichever comes first. Unfortunately, your vehicle was out of warranty when the engine replacement took place in December. While this repair typically would have been covered within the warranty period, we did offer assistance by allowing the cost to be broken into manageable installments.

    We understand that since December, you've encountered additional issues with your vehicle, including the fuel pump. Please note that these issues are unrelated to the engine replacement and would not be covered under your warranty. However, we are here to help and may be able to assist further, but we need to come to an agreement on how to move forward with the necessary repairs.

    Our records show that a loaner car was offered in December, but we understand this may not have been an ideal solution for your situation. We are committed to helping our customers in challenging circumstances, and there are several options available to assist you moving forward.

    We also want to ensure that we're on the same page about the repair process. We noted that the key to your vehicle was not left with us during the recent tow, which is necessary for us to proceed with repairs. If you're able to provide the key, we can continue working to resolve the issues with your car.

    In terms of customer service, we continually strive to improve, and all calls are recorded for training purposes. We understand your frustration, and we want to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. We recommend staying on top of your payments to avoid negative impacts on your credit report, as we do report to the major credit agencies.

    I bought a car from ********* the *** called me today which is I told them I got a new *** and can pay 7 days late they have disabled it and said the day of my first check was Thursday they want to reposses on Wednesday. How am I supposed to work with out a car

    Do not buy a car from these people unless you take a mechanic to inspect the vehicle. I have barely had mine for a little over a month ac went out and they won't fix it. I have to put it into neutral when stopping at stop signs or red lights. Check engine light comes on and off. They have a warranty on certain things but you have to pay 100 bucks. They slap band aids on things just to sell the car knowing it will breakdown later. Completely shady people. I was hesitant when getting this vehicle due to things i noticed and even changed my mind, but they rushed me into it telling me don't worry they are a good company and would fix any issues. Because it was late and they were ready to leave. This was originally a 5 star review but only because they pressure you into it before you leave.

    I wish i could give a negative 7 stars. The nastiest, rudest people in the entire world. The insurance departments entire staff needs to be fired immediately. They hang up in your face mid sentence. The manager refuses to reprimand them or resolve any issues. I am reaching out to a lawyer and the bbb expeditiously. They are also charging peoples account saying they dont have insurance when in fact they do. yall need to look into shutting this company down immediately.

    Very bad customer service and will scam you out of your money. Do not waste your time going here. This place needs to be shut down immediately. They dont care about anything you say just want your money for the lemon car they have given you then will try and repo your car if you miss a payment no matter how on time you are and will shut your car off and threaten you. Run do not give this place your money the reviews are true. Lastly you can still make on time payments are they still turn your car off this place is just ridiculously insane filled with horrible people.

    Worst car company known to man. I financed a car with them in 2018 and paid everything off by 2023, they were the most disrespectful unprofessional people Ive ever had to deal with. And they have no empathy for costumers managers or call reps they all acted like they hated there job. And the INTEREST for the car? lol lets just say that was my first car, and they did a number on me.

    Bought a car the beginning of 2022 was told I could trade after a year, a year passed then it changed to two years, within the first year Ive had two engine replacement first covered by warranty second the exact same thing but was blamed on me, now its going on 2 years and Im on my 3rd engine replacement, In less then 4 months, and Im **** miles away from home, with no help from *** or Automax, but they still threaten to cut my car off.

    I have been a customer for over 4 years. Payments on autopay. Each promise they make is broken. I have spoken with the ****************** ******* Manager. They get parts from the junk yard and expect a customer to continue to pay for their warranty/insurance,etc. The manufacturer will not accept the vehicle because the vehicle no longer looks like the original featured part. The mechanic or shop they use put parts on that could have cost me my life! It came off and damaged my vehicle while driving.The want me to put money down which goes in their pockets in order to get another vehicle and I didn't request for a **** vehicle.**** called saying bring the vehicle in to trade it no problem yet forgot to mention his boss would have the last word. They did not put my front plate on so I have to figure that out. The Salesman they try. I'm just tired of believing in them because they don't care! They don't have dependable mechanics

    I missed my very first payment and paid it the next morning after it was due. They turned my car off and didnt turn it back on until Monday?? VERY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
