      Company's like this is below trash and need to be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people that are trying to get ahead in life with the transportation that's been purchased from this company. The company is a total rip-off and I don't recommend even my worse enemy to get a car from this slum of a car dealership!!! The car has been in the shop since 06-06-2024 and was ready for pick up two weeks later due to finding a part but the dealership asked that we pay majority of the bill due them saying that we didn't have a warranty on the car. The shop requested the check for the repairs on the car in which has been ready for pick since 06-19-2024 and the invoice was wrong so the dealership requested a new invoice in which the shop provided but the dealership didn't send out a check until 07-12-2024 but the check has yet to arrive! Upon calling the dealership the lady ***** was very sure that they sent the check out but after calling the shop they still haven't received a check yet!! After calling everyday and speaking to three different people they've all done the same thing is hang up on people! They are rude and a lemon dealership and should be sued for violating my daughters intergerty and after losing her job due to making payments and not having a car to get back for forth to the job that supplied the money to make these payments on car that can't be utilized because the the money hasn't been paid and after paying the dealership the money for the repairs we get hung upon for asking to speak to someone in accounting. This company shouldn't be open due to the lemon cars they are selling ripping off modest people

      I bought a car from PAG in December of 2021. 3 weeks after I got the car the check engine light came on so I took it to my mechanic and had him pull up the code for the issue. The catalytic converter had gone out. I called the lot they told me it wasnt covered under the collateral protection plan and that I would have to pay full price but their mechanic could do the work. Because of my job I needed my car. But, before I could schedule an appointment with them, my transmission line broke. So I called them to have them pick up my car and fix both problems. That didnt happen they fixed the transmission line but not the catalytic converter. When I got my car back I called and complained that it wasnt fixed they again told me it wasnt covered. I told them I dont mind paying for the work but I need this fixed. They told me their automotive department would reach out to me. Never heard back from them. Again I need my car for work so I cant just drop it off and leave myself with no transportation. A couple of months went by and again my car messed up. The hose from the radiator to the reservoir completely broke off. So again I called the lot set up a time for them to pick up my car and told them I wanted the catalytic converter replaced along with the radiator hose. They took a whole week to come pick up my car. They would tell me oh we will be there on this day and when the day came it was never picked up. When they finally did pick my car up I called and told them I wanted my catalytic converter replaced so that I could pass inspection and get my tags up to date.They still didnt do it. Long story short it never got fixed. Now I am ******* because my car actually caught fire while driving. I called the lot and let them know so they could start a claim. About a week went by and I had not heard anything so I called them. Basically Mrs.****** told me the car had been totaled out and paid for and all the lots were closed so I basically have to start over at a new lot.

      trash trash trash. They definitely took advantage of my extreme need to have transportation. I've had everything on that car go out, from the break lines snapping in half to my ac compressor catching on fire while driving down the interstate. My wheels on the front are so out of line because the cars been in a wreck before I got it. The vibration when you stop is unbelievable. The first red flag should have been the way I was told where to take the test drive. If I could have taken it on the highway, I would have never said yes. I was desperate and in a crappy place with my credit. Now I'm stuck with this lemon. Oh, and I absolutely don't want to forget to mention that they NEVER EVER work with me if I have a situation where I might be a few DAYS late on my payment. This happens when I have to pour money into whatever catastrophe the car decides to give me during the week. Payments are due on Friday. Saturday morning, the car is disabled! When I ask for a couple of days, they tell me to re-read my contract! So when they tried to deny my insurance because I had excluded drivers on my policy, I told them to RE-READ the contract! Nowhere in there does it say that. They want to deny me because they charge $ 40 a week to cover the debt if I don't have full coverage!

      Horrible place to get a car ***** DOES NOT CARE she will sell you anything to make a quick buck! They have went through different management but still selling lemons! I have had sever issues with my car and when it came time to paying off they start adding little by little PAY ATTENTION!!

      I wouldn't recommend this company nor would I ever use them again if my life depended on it. The customer service is terrible they are rude over the phone they ****** you from day 1 like they just assume you're not gonna pay them WEEKLY and the first day when we went on the test drive the dealer lost my driver's license somewhere between his desk and the copier and never even attempted to find it I LOOKED his response was oh ok just give you the 14 dollars to replace it never got it back never got the money to replace it either. They are terribly unprofessional all around I could on and on

      I got a car in December from here and still have not got my plates my temporary tag is out. They told me my plates where mailed to me *********** closed all the lots and left one open. I call everyday and same old thing we will mail your license plates to you i told them about my temporary tag that is expired they told me to go get a new one for 12 dollars i told them no if i get a ticket they are paying for it. Do not buy a car from Public Automotive Group

      I purchase a 2013 GMC Terrain on 11/03/2023, I drove off Lot got about 6 miles then stopped at red light and while stopped the vehicle started jerking back and forth really bad, so I called to public auto they were closed, so they would not be open until 11/07/2023 so I took car back to public auto they kept car 2 days then they call me and said it was fixed i picked car up and drove home then i left to go to store and service light came on when i stopped at red light again and car started jerking very bad so I took car back again to public auto they kept car again, then i got a call from service ************ service manager and he informed me that when car is checked out he"ll let me know more information. So i heard from on 11/15/2023 car still not ready. My wife and have to go back and forth to doctors we are seniors age 81 and 64 we informed ************ that we need the we purchased asap, but they kept giving me run arounds and excuses they would not give me a refund, not a loaner car. They have not returned car yet as of 11/27/2023 on they called me 12/21/2023 and told that the vehicle would be ready on 12/22/2023 and that I would be responsiable for 50% of repair. I made all car payments even thought we had no car from time drove off lot 11/03 /2023. WE help need because this is a rip taking advantage of seniors. I advise anyone not to buy from PUBLIC AUTO do research.

      Got our car in July or Aug. First day driving off the lot check engine light came on. Called and took the car back to have it looked at. Took a week and still had to pay for it. Said they fixed it no invoice was given. Same day we picked it up. Light came back on. Took it back again. Another week in shop. Battery went out a couple weeks later had to pay for that extra on each payment for $400 for a battery!! Broke down a week ago check engine light and service stabilitrak came on. Said it was engine coil took a week to replace. He said it was $480 to fix and then said we only have to pay half and past due payment. Go to get it and pay another week they added rest of the $240 to the weekly note! Light just came back on again today!! Do they even fix it or just take your money!!

      Had my car for 3 months. Car note has went up A $100 each time had never been behind on my car note paid for a tune up oil change and for my window get fixed gave the $300 up front to start it. They told me they was not going to return my money And did not fix my window or oil change They took my car back to the car lot and told me to go pick it up. Cause they wasn't going to fix it and was not going to return my money. I ask why cause they said. I need to pay more money cause engine Went out I asked for an invoice on the work. They said that they wasn't going to give me a invoice cause they don't have to they wasn't going to fix my car and wasn't going to give me back the money!im still fighting for my money!!

      They have had my car since mid July..Still want you to make payments even though they cant figure out what's wrong with..Tell you they're gonna call you back in a few days but don't..Have talked to. Both **** and ********* at the **** office and when you suggest something they act like you dont know what you're talking about..Have even told them it was suggested by ******* to take it to a certified ******* dealership which they have not.. Even disabled my car when I had insurance and still had to pay $30 after proving that I did to get my car running again. Asked the *************** to send papers I received from. ******* and had to call twice for them to.do it and my car still not running..Start acting up after disabling the vehicle which was back around April ******* and here it is October but had the car since July
