I was talked into purchasing a monthly "subscription service" in early December 2023. I was clear with ****** the restore employee that day that I was leaving for the holidays and would not return until January. She told me to just fill out the paperwork and I could start in January. I was immediately charged $600 for the first month on December 12, 2023. Then before I was even back I was charged $600 again on January 12, 2024. I immediately called and complained and was told that it was a mistake and would be refunded. I gave them 4 days to refund which did not occur so on January `16, 2024 I both mailed them a certified letter and hand delivered notice of cancellation. Again I was told there would be a refund but none has occurred to date.Initial Complaint

Dec 17, 2023-purchased 2 core pack at $128 each and 2 $100 gift cards for Christmas presents from ******. On Dec 22, 2023 at 6:20pm, I recd an email stating to use store credits by end of business day (12/22/23), as the site would be permanently closed Dec 23, 2023. I called and left a voicemail message and also sent an email requesting a refund since they are not able to provide services. No response from Restore. This is theft of services. I paid. $456 for services as gifts and received nothing. Restore sold services with no intention on providing, thats deception. I want a complete refund. I will continue to share their unethical and poor business practices to warn as many people as possible.Initial Complaint

My dispute is with Restore Hyper Wellness. I purchased four packs of core services at $170.10 for each package. Each package consists of ten services. After using 15 of the 40 services, the store gave less than a weeks notice that they will be closing and the customers will be refunded all amounts due to them. I went into the store on the day of closing to confirm that I will be getting a refund of $425.25. I was shown a list of people getting refunds and my name and amount was on that list and I was told I would get the refund soon. A week after that, I called the manager on her cell phone to see when I would get my refund and the phone was disconnect. I e-mailed the cooperate office and nobody responded. I called the corporate office twice and was sent to voicemail. I left two messages and nobody has contacted me. I still have not received my refund of $425.25.Initial Complaint

Gave it my best try. Member for about a year. No matter how you work it, this was not the best use of time and money. This is a total ripoff. Not worth one dollar of membership. That is the key word membership as typical of such agreements, you are locked. Try cancelling when you have a legitimate medical reason, for myself this is a cancer diagnosis which is about send me into a cancer treatment living h*** for the next 3 months or more. Furthermore, they have a policy of denying services to members who have a medical condition, until medically released. So why continue this absurdity based on my condition? This I liken to signing a deal with El Diablo. You must pay even if you want to exit and theres no negotiating. ***** (********/La ****** is the most insensitive person Ive spoken to at this location. Unprofessional and unwilling to listen or find compromise. To terminate, I must pay El Diablo. Is one month of membership or in this case $119.00 that big a deal? This is apparently monumental to these scam artists. Like similar set **** they only care that you signed an agreement, and theyll just take your money anyway, like it or not. Too bad for you..Prospective members beware! Will be taking this up on a corporate levelInitial Complaint

I have made 3 attempts to cancel my membership with Restore HyperWellness (*********** ******** location) and the company continues to charge me. On each attempt, I've been told my membership has been canceled. I have canceled in person and over the phone. I have now had to take extra steps through my bank to stop payment to this business. I have also filed a complaint with their parent company about this franchise location and have requested a refund. My issue has yet to be resolved. I'm filing a formal complaint with BBB because I know others who have experienced this same issue at this location with no luck in resolving the problem. People need to know that this location has zero accountability and poor business practices. I consider this fraud.Initial Complaint

I went to this business in January of 2023 to purchase a cryo facial. They had a new member special, where you could join for three months at $169/month and also receive a reduction in the price of the cryo facials. With the membership, you could pick and choose from their additional offerings. Each succeeding month the amount of services you could select changed. I was of the understanding that the first two months were involved in the special, and you would be charged for one additional month at the end of the two month period. So I had the understanding that I would be done at the end of March. During my time there, I learned that I couldn't use all of their services due to health issues, and I found the cryo facial did not deliver the advertised results, so I quit going, knowing that I would be charged an additional month, which was March. They charged me on 3/30/2023 $169 for an additional month, April, and will not refund this money, because their "legal and binding agreement" says I will be charged an additional month and I have to cancel in writing. The cancellation in writing was never explained to me. All I am asking is for them to waive the charge of 3/30/23 and they are refusing to do so.Initial Complaint

I signed up for a monthly contract at the Restore Hyperwellness in ******, ** after only having the contract for less than 1 month, I received an email that the office was closed on January 26th. I have not been able to use any services or contact anyone from that office or the corporate office to have the contract canceled. They are still withdrawing the funds from my account. I am not able to use another location and need the contract canceled, due to the office being shut down.Initial Complaint

The office of this business charged a card (****) which I do not monitor and which was not my preferred card. In fact when I used it I refunded the charge and provided different payment. (I have provided an email from the Restore owner saying as much). After a period of my account being on hold the office began to charge this (****) card instead of the one I had provided. The **** card is a business card which is monitored by a bookkeeper. I switched to my personal card as the owner acknowledged. I have included images showing correspondence where I ask my bookkeeper (******) about the charges and also where ****** asks me how to categorize other charges on the card for bookkeeping purposes. The Restore business owner ***** is saying that they have the right to keep my money because Id previously noticed them charging my card when returning to reup the membership at another time. At that time I asked for the refund because it was a time I was scheduled to return and restart my membership and I was late coming back. I never wanted that card used after that and her employees or computer error has cost me $3000. Im seeking legal counsel but starting here with BBB.
