    Bad policy, bad business. While I have had good haircut experiences with ******* over a 2 year period, I will not be returning to Raven Row salon, and here is why. I accidentally had the wrong time in my mind for an appointment. I received a call from the salon asking for my ETA. I let them know I had the wrong time and I took full responsibility. I asked if I could come in immediately. I live less than a mile away and I could be there in under 5 minutes (The appointment was at 10 am and it was10:20). The answer was no. The policy is to charge the full amount, $165, for a no show. So, my error resulted in a $165 charge and Raven Row lost my business. Lose, lose all around.

    Well, I thought I loved Raven Row Salon Until today. Ive been sick for the last 10 days with some horrible virus and had to reschedule a couple of appointments with ***** (whom, by the way, I believe, is a very talented artist.) I was under the impression that if I canceled an appointment or rescheduled the day before, I would only be charged 50% of the charges so I wrote them immediately last night when I started Getting sick. I threw up all night long and just could not make it to my appointment nor did I want to get anybody in the salon sick! Instead of even speaking to me, working with me at all, they just charged me 100% and would have nothing else to do with me. They cut me off from online booking and said I was abusive when I was practically *begging* them to please rebook me with *****. I said that I was sorry that I had gotten grouchy with them that I did not understand their policy. I got grouchy, because I had literally been up all night vomiting my guts up. Not exactly something that puts one in a beautiful mood. And, I truly did not understand that I would be charged 100%, it was a simple mistake but theyre hard asses! ****** good, but Ill never see her again and now I have to find someone else to help me out. I cant believe they would cut me off and be so unkind! Im sure part of it is because I have only been there a couple of times and they dont know me very well. I even asked to speak to ***** personally, so that I could explain to her what has been going on, but they would not even allow that! If they knew *half* of how badly, I felt all week, they would never have done such a thing. No one would want to be treated like this. For that, I say stay away.

    Hello,
    We must first address the unacceptable behavior you've displayed at Raven Row. Our salon prides itself on providing a safe and respectful environment for everyone. However, your actions have shown a blatant disregard for this principle. We have a ZERO tolerance policy for abusive behavior. 
    Let's be clear:
    A) Your threats of in-person intervention when confronted with our cancellation policy are not only unwarranted, but also deeply inappropriate.
    B) Your sarcastic, rude, and aggressive demeanor towards our salon coordinators is entirely unacceptable. They are dedicated professionals simply enforcing our established policies and had been nothing but polite to you. 
    C) Your repeated attempts to spam and inundate us with demands via various communication channels demonstrate a lack of respect for our time and boundaries.
    Despite our efforts to accommodate your needs by waiving the cancellation fee and reminding you of our policies the first time, your failure to adhere to our policies a second time resulted in a confrontation with our staff and owner. Your subsequent barrage of abusive messages and calls, followed by attempts to shift blame, only served to further exacerbate the situation. You also made it clear multiple times you did not want to return.
    In order to maintain a positive and safe atmosphere for our clients and staff alike, we have made the decision to terminate our professional relationship with you and block further communication. We appreciate the opportunity your reviews and reports have provided to showcase our commitment to handling such behavior with firmness and professionalism.
    As a small business, we take immense pride in upholding our standards of conduct. We hope you will find a salon more suited to your needs and communication style.
