    I signed up for an account as a tutor and attempted to pay for a premium membership twice, once in January 2024 and once in April 2024 with no success. Since care.com does not offer basic customers help via phone, I could not problem-solve and gave up after the second attempt. When I logged into my account after both attempts, a prompt asked me to sign up for premium services. Fast forward to today. In reviewing credit card statements for this year, I noticed two $90 charges from care.com that coincide with the periods noted above. After hunting around their website, I found a chat feature. After providing the above information, credit card and account information and screenshots of the credit card statement, it became clear that my request for premium services on my professional account were applied to my husbands account and that he needed to contact them to fix it. My husband did just that and was told via chat that they do not issue refunds. He explained that he did not give them permission to charge this account and that ********************** was engaging in fraudulent behavior. He asked for a supervisor and without anyone asking for contact information he was told it was escalated and a supervisor would reach out and the chat was ended by care.com. A short time later he received an email stating his subscription was canceled but he could still use the services until the end of the current term, July 13, 2024, In other words, they were not refunding the $180 that they fraudulently charged his account. I have screenshots of the credit card statements, transcripts of the chat conversations, and emails to back up this claim.

    I liked using it but then they charged me for "Carecheck" after I cancelled my subscription.
