I started going to WLD 10 years ago and until this last year, everything was OK. A few months ago I was told Dr.**, whom I have seen for the past 6 years could no longer do my treatment because he was only doing surgeries. Even though I was originally told as a legacy patient I could still see him.In May 2022 I decided to get smart lipo from, ****************. I had Lipo 10 years ago, different doctor, with excellent results. so I expected a similar experience. The procedure was a nightmare. I was told I would be awake during the procedure but numbed so I would not feel anything. I was in and out of consciousness but several times I was ****** awake by the stabbing pain from the instruments. By the end, I was in crying and asking them to stop. I was told that the fat would come out as a yellow substance that looked like butter. Well, the containers contained pink fluid and pale whitish fat, like it had not been melted off but scrubbed off.I was told that I would have minimal bruising and pain. I had 2 weeks of heavy bruising and 2 months of pain. I had 20 little puncture wounds on my torso alone. The results are horrific, I am not smooth. I have a lumpy stomach, back, and arms. Three months after the procedure I had lost 25 pounds (diet/exercise) and the result was no better. At my follow up the doctor said" Look how flat it is!" and I said "This is not flat, I am not happy", she said it might take 3 more months. She saw nothing wrong with the procedure or results, this was normal for her. It's not.I tried another doctor at ******************* for injectables. He walked in stretching and yawning like he just woke-up. I said something, he brushed it off. He then proceeded to give me the most painful injections I have ever received.So after 10 years, I will never go to West Lake Dermatology again. They have become a profit-driven corporation, they do not care about patient relationships or care. Find a doctor who cares about you and will be there for the long term.
