I ordered two tickets to ********. Seats ordered were at the time of sale were to be together and there were NO notes of piggyback seating upon giving my credit card information and consummating the transaction. Soon there after or next day I was sent an email because there was an issue with my order. I come to find that the seats piggy back seats. I tell them I need to think about this because I was going with my girlfriend so was not sure how she would react to this. They called me up Sunday night and I said I needed to speak with my girlfriend and to call me back. Two days later I call them to confirm piggyback would be acceptable and they tell me they cancelled my order. Terrible Company and I will never utilize their servicesBusiness Response

Thank you for your response on this. We do apologize for the inconvenience on this order. We have been business for over 30 years, and this is not our intention for this happen. I can tell you the seller of these tickets is being investigated on this matter. We did offer replacement tickets to fix the issue, but you did not want the replacements that were offered. So, the order was refunded. Again, we do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused on the matter.

This site is an absolute scam and should be ashamed to function the way it is. Ive been told that my ticket is expected to come before or on the day of the show. Prior to the day of my show, I reached out inquiring about my ticket to ensure I get them on time. They told me to wait until the day of and that they were confident I would be getting my tickets the day of. Day of comes, I message two different times inquiring about my tickets. They told me they are confident that tickets should come two hours before the show. What a waste of time. Two hour before the show arrives, still no ticket, I contact them and now they are saying the selling is unresponsive and to kick rocks? Shame on you guys. What a f****** scam.Business Response

We had purchased tickets through Ticket City we went to print our QR code at home for the 8:00pm show when we noticed the time was different. We had made an error. Weve been saving our money to be able to attend this show. Long anticipated. The girl ***** told us she couldnt do anything and we lost our money. I pleaded with her to please transfer me to someone. If I can get a refund. She kept on saying there is nothing we can do. I felt so stressed how can a company not care to try to work with a person to rectify the error. If anyone can help it will be greatly appreciated. Losing this much hard earned money is a crime.Business Response

I purchased a fake parking pass ticket for an event held on 6/1 at *************** in ********** off the website. No parking was required for this event as it was free to all ticket holders. I have called the company to complain and they said there was nothing they could do. And then when I asked for it to be escalated I was transferred and they hung up on me. The ticket to park was $100 and was completely fake and worthless. Their website stated 100% guaranteed and I want a full refund immediately. This is inexcusable and completely fraudulent for a ticket distribution agency. The event was Monster Jam and upon checking their website it even states no parking needed.Business Response

Thank you for your inquiry. This lot is part of the venue, and the ticket can be purchased for this lot through the venue so in order for the fan to purchase these tickets the seller had to get these tickets from the primary. If the venue decided at the last minute to allow people to park without parking attendees there to check tickets, then that would be a venue issue and not through us. At this point you had the parking that would have been used. At this point the best course of action is to file a charge back through your credit card because we cannot refund this order.Customer Answer

Purchased 2 tickets to TBD at ************** **** Finals - Home Game 3)(Date TBD)(If Necessary) on April 13th. Shortly after I got a confirmation email regarding a delivery date of June 12 to which I immediately contested as I was not aware the tickets wouldnt be delivered on the spot. They said okay we will contact the seller and I was instead sent two tickets to East Conf Finals: TBD at ******* Rd 3 Hm Gm 3. These are two entirely separate games, and ticket city recognized the wrong tickets were sent. The seller removed the tickets and then I waited 10 days for the new ones. After multiple hours on the phone with T.C. they called the seller and then sent me a new email. This email was again the incorrect tickets but this time the link inside forced my ticketmaster account to accept them. I called TC and they recognized the tickets were sent for the incorrect game a second time. They then said the correct tickets could be delivered as late as June 15th, a mere 48 hours before the event. They refused to refund me and never even asked for the incorrect tickets back. I disputed through paypal and they have been lying to paypal claiming that I have received the correct tickets and that the ticket transfers have gone through already. ****** has decided that the "item is materially similar to the seller's description" despite the difference in value of the tickets being over $20,000. The ticket holder also has the tickets which I actually purchased for the *** finals listed on both ticketcity still and other ticket websites. They have sent me similar looking yet DRASTICALLY different tickets while they field higher offers for the real tickets and ticketcity is complicit in this scam. Ive attatched photos of my confirmation email, the incorrect tickets, and the photo of my real tickets still being listed on ticket city.Business Response

Thank you for contacting us. We do apologize for the inconvenience that the wrong tickets were sent to you on this. You should have received the correct tickets for game 5 of the finals in ******. The eastern conference finals tickets should have never been sent. Now as our team has been working on this order and the seller of these seats has assured us that if the ******* make to the finals and there is a game 5 these tickets will be sent 48 hours prior to the game. That is most common with playoff games. These tickets are not even available yet because the teams and even game 5 has not been determined yet. We can assure you that our team knows about this order and the correct tickets will be sent if there is a game 5 in ******. Date of purchase: 11/21/2023 Cost: $798.75 Item: Five (5) ********************* Ticket in row 40 section 137 Dispute: TicketCity refuses to provide tickets in row 40 only in section 137 after their seller transferred tickets in row 6. I purchased these tickets at a premium along with TicketCity's fees to guarantee getting row 40 which provides protection from the sun as two (2) of the ticket holders need to avoid exposure. TicketCity provided two emails on the purchase date showing the row 40 and section 137. Business Resolution: I emailed a request to TicketCity's customer service asking to place us in the ************* we purchased or provide a full refund. I emailed them and *********************** refused to either due to their after purchase terms stating TicketCity only provides seats in the section. I responded that this was not acceptable. A second response from ************ stated that the tickets were confirmed in section 137 and row 40 but she also referred me to TicketCity's terms and refused my request. Credit Card resolution: I requested a stop payment via my credit card company, PayPal, but they turned down the request.Order ID: #******** Summary of complaint: I feel TicketCity along with their seller are running a "Bait and Switch" scam. As the buyer they falsely presented the tickets that I wanted. I was willing to pay a premium for them. Once the sale was completed and received confirmation that I got the tickets that were listed the tickets were not issued until 3/4/2024. Therefore, the seller and TicketCity were given time to continue to sell the same tickets to other buyers. In the end the seller was the able to transfer tickets to me, the buyer, that the seller couldn't get rid of through proper ethical means. I was only looking for a refund from TicketCity but this practice should not continue even with their after purchase "terms and conditions" that they hide behind.Business Response

Thank you for your response. At looking at this order you had purchased seats that were listed ******** Seating" when they were purchased. What this means is that: "this listing describes tickets that the seller does not own but is offering to procure for you. Like all tickets sold on a marketplace, zone tickets may be higher or lower than the price first offered by the venue. After you place your order and your order is confirmed, we guarantee that your tickets will be within the zone or section listed or one comparable and that you will receive these tickets in time for the event or your money back." In this case you were given the same section and were given row 6 which is a huge upgrade. We cannot factor in medical conditions when it comes to purchasing tickets. We would suggest reaching out to the ballpark itself and explaining the situation to them and they may be able accommodate your needs when it comes to securing seats under the shade.

Had nothing to do with medical issues but what TicketCity advertised as tickets for purchase. Again I believe ticketcity & seller are involved in a bait and switch fraud. I was not notified of the zone Seating until after the purchase and then TicketCity provided a confirmation even after this notification.Again a complete refund is the only resolution.

In April, I purchased a "Reserved " parking ticket for a Queen ******* being held at *********** in **** on Nov 11, 2023. When purchasing, I emailed Ticketcity asking for CONFIRMATION that I was, indeed, getting a RESERVED spot in a SPECIFIC parking lot ("Pink Lot"), because my husband has medical issues that make it difficult to walk long distances, which is why I was willing to pay so much money in advance for a parking space. Ticketcity CONFIRMED the details in their email response. The day of the *******, traffic was a complete mess and it took us over an hr. to drive 3/10ths of a mile from the frwy offramp to the Pink Lot! When we finally arrived, we were refused entry, even though we showed the ticket on the phone! We were forced to go a few blocks farther to park, so a longer walk than we expected, resulting in not even getting into the venue until 30 mins after the event start time. Also, my daughter was with us, in an ankle brace and using a cane due to a recent injury, which just added to the frustration of not getting the parking I paid for. I tried to attach screen shots below of the email conversations where my "RESERVED" space in the Pink Lot was confirmed by Ticketcity, but am unable to do so from my camera's gallery, for some reason. However, they were sent to Ticketcity with my initial email requesting a refund on Nov 12th, so they have them. I want a refund because what I paid for was misrepresented and unavailable to us. I have since exchanged emails with different reps, and then was directed to "call a live agent", which I did on the 17th. I am not getting anywhere, thus I am filing this complaint. We are senior citizens, my husband is a ******* veteran with CHF, kidney disease, hypertension and PTSD. It's unacceptable that we are being treated so poorly, especially when Ticketcity gave me WRITTEN CONFIRMATION of the location of my "RESERVED PARKING TICKET". Better Business Bureau:Yesterday I filed a complaint about Ticket City not responding to my request for a refund. This morning, I received a phone call from them telling me that a full refund is being issued to my credit card! I don't know if they have even received the complaint I filed, but I did want to notify you that the issue seems to have been resolved, as the I should see a credit on my card in 5-7 days.
