Apr 16, 2022, (6) Tickets ORDER TOTAL $916.42.Total of both transactions: $1,388.56 This performance was listed on TicketCity's website through which I made the purchase of (9) total tickets.The ************** did not have this performance on their schedule.TicketCity's position is this performance was "postponed" and is refusing a refund pending a future rescheduled date.My position is the performance was mistakenly listed on TicketCity's website.... the ************** never had this performance scheduled. You can't postpone (or cancel) an event that the performer never had on its schedule in the first place. Therefore, I'm requesting a full refund.Attached is copies of correspondence attempting to resolve the issue.(Note that the *************** has agreed to refund the original purchasers so all can be made whole.)

              I am rejecting this response because:

              Ticket City is using ************* phrase of "Postponement" to keep my funds rather than offering a refund.

              As noted previously the event was not on the performers **************** schedule and was incorrectly promoted by Ticket City on their website.

              The venue (***************), TicketMaster, etc. have all offered refunds to all their customers but Ticket City refuses to step up to the plate.

              They are holding my money, I assume indefinitely, and no future event has been *********************** learned.... Ticket City is a deadbeat reseller....avoid them and deal with a more reputable agency instead.

              Multiple calls over several days with one excuse after another and no tickets. Poor customer service that will not or can not make decisions to solve issues. I received a text from an unknown number with a link, I never click on a link from unknown number so text was deleted. I was told later that the link was for tickets so I requested another text or email but have not received any. Should have explained in the text what the link was, who clicks a link from unknown numbers. ************** keep giving me the run around. Ticket # ********. I'm requesting my tickets or a refund.

              I am rejecting this response because:
              Who would click a link from an unknown number? I need tickets in hand in order to make other plans. If tickets were sent it should not be a problem to resend them.
              In the future some type of information should be included when sending a text message that includes a link. I feel the company is putting this off in hopes I will drop the issue of not receiving tickets, how do I know the link was for my tickets? All I have to go by is the word of a company that is not willing to produce the tickets I paid for.

The actual ticket says the venue is **************** in *********** *********.TicketCity will not refund the cost of the ticket.

              Company promised event tickets fast and sure enough its the day of the event now and I have gotten nothing except a $130 charge on my card and no tickets. **************** says they will not refund my money because the show has not been cancelled. However a young man never received his tickets so what did he pay for??? Not to mention its far too close to show time for them to send them over last minute, its clear Im missing the show and they basically took my $130, not to mention, I PAID for insurance/protection with my order, which apparently means your in no way protected your tickets or your money according to my experience.

              This company promised to refund my money if they event was canceled or reschedule and I asked a few time that If the event was canceled or rescheduled and they ensured me that it wasnt and that they were going to transfer my ticket electronic and I never got the ticket. I Called many times for them to send me the ticket I told them maybe they were sending the ticket because the event was rescheduled and o got an email a day after saying that the event was rescheduled. They sold me a ticket from a event that was rescheduled. When I Called to asked to get my refund they say they werent going to refund me . This company will sell you a ticket from a event that is rescheduled or cancel fo not trust this company. **************** very rude

              I had told her that the event was rescheduled and she unsure me it wasnt I told her I had a ticket from ticket master and they had rescheduled my event but didnt game explanation I didnt know if they were over sold

              I paid ticketcity.com $454.45 for two tickets to see ********************* on February 12, 2021. I received notification that the show was postponed. I called ticketcity to get my money back and was told they are valid up to a year, that I cannot get money back until after a year, because the show can be rescheduled any time during that year. A year passed without any reschedule so I called ticketcity. I was told the show was still postponed....and that this info was from the managers of the show. I contacted the managers and was told ticket City is a scalper, BECAUSE NO SHOW WAS EVEN SCHEDULED DURING THAT TIME. I saved all emails regarding this matter. I would like $454.45 back.

              Date of Transaction: 02-22-2020. Purchased 7 tickets from TicketCity for a baseball game for $673.20. The game was postponed, then completely cancelled due to Covid. Eventually I received a coupon for the same amount, but with NO expiration date. I inquired about using the coupon with TicketCity on March 16, 2022, and they informed that the coupon expired already.Since all in person baseball games were cancelled for the 2020 and 2021 seasons, I did not try to use my coupon. I have reached out to TicketCity to reissue the coupon, but they wont consider it.So, I paid for 7 baseball tickets, and got nothing in return. My credit card company will not refund my money because they said too much time has elapsed. As we all know too well, most all sporting events and venues have been shut down for two years. I either want a full refund from TicketCity for the cost of my tickets I couldnt use, or I want them to issue a full coupon with an expiration date. Its not fair that they didnt issue an expiration date on the coupon and then told me there was an expiration date. When you look at the coupon, there is no mention of what the expiration date might be.I want them to be held accountable. I have tried multiple times to talk with someone in the organization only to be cutoff and not called back.This is an awful business model. They are ripping people off. They took my money and gave me nothing in return. I see it as fraud.Please help.

              On March-10, 2022, I purchased (2) seats from TicketCity (TC) for the ************** basketball game at the *************************************** in *********. My order was ******** and the cost of the tickets was $108.58. I recd a number of emails confirming the sale as well as instructions on exactly how the tickets should be transmitted and downloaded from my email. I had no problems receiving all emails from TC during the transaction. A few hours before the game I had not received any communications on the tickets, so I called TC and was advised to give it just a little more time before calling back. An hour before game time I again called TC and I advised them that I only recd an email from TC to give me a "heads up" that the tickets were now being transmitted via email and to follow the instructions to download. Though at my computer, I advised them I have not yet received any emails from any seller or anyone else, just TC. I was communicating with a "Lissanna" from TC for about an hour while she in fact tried to verify the ticket transfer, which she never was able to do. She then had me try to access 2-3 different sites and each time I was either "Forbidden Entry", or, "Not an Authorized User". She finally requested that I check with the ************************************** ticket office directly to see if they would allow me entry if I showed them "Proof of Purchase" from TC. She even provided me the actual seat numbers, which normally they never do. In summary, I never recd the tickets and missed the game. And, I fortunately have a record of this live chat info.The next morning I followed up again with TC. This time I spoke with a "Franchezka". She was great. She put me on hold for over 30-minutes while she investigated the transfer from the seller and was able to confirm they did not do so on time. She then offered me a full refund in 5-7 days. I also have this Live Chat record.Now, after following up TC is now refusing the refund saying everything went fine on their end.

              I ordered tickets through ticketcity on 4/19/2022 for a 4/20/2022 game at 11:00 A.M. order #******** coastal ******** vs ***************** baseball game.. I did not receive the e tickets until 11:45 p.m. that night AFTER the game was over. I attended the game at 11:00 a.m. and repaid for tickets at the gate. The players were on a plane and probably home by the 11:59 p.m. hour. I did go back and look at my order. It does state the game was at 11:59 p.m. that is WRONG! Ticketcity has the WRONG time listed for the game. There was no phone number to call ticketcity to speak to a person. Only email and live chat which I've tried both for the last three days to no avail. I am looking for a refund of the $81 I spent on the tickets. I sure hope you can help me.

              I am rejecting this response because:

              I tried to communicate this very simple problem to Ticket City.  Each time, with numerous customer service reps, their response was the same, an electronic denial.  I do not trust the response they gave to the Better Business Bureau, that they are investigating my situation and will get back to me after their discovery, as each time I inquired I was denied.  

               

              The first attachment is an email thread between myself and ticket city with all the information and their constant electronic denial.

               

              The second attachment shows the last live chat I had with ticket city.  Notice that they now state my order number cannot be found.  This is after all the communications and me not letting up on a proper and fair end to this situation.

               

              The third attachment is an actual shot of the newspaper clipping of the game in question.  Notice the article states the game had a dead end cut off of 3 P.M. as the players had to board a plane and head back home.

               

              To reiterate:  I purchased tickets for the coastal ******** vs ********* baseball game on 3/19/22.  The game was scheduled at 3/20/2022 at 11 A.M.  The e-tickets did not arrive until 11:45 P.M. on 3/20/2022 AFTER the game was over.

              On 2/4/2020 I purchased two tickets from the ticket resale company Ticket City for section 2, row 12, for a ***********************/*************************** concert to be held at the ************ in ************* on 5/27/2020 for $802.84, order #********. Ticket City rescheduled the concert twice: first for 5/26/2021, then later for 10/29/2021. From my initial purchase until the final concert date, Ticket City continued to send me the same link to receive the tickets, but the link was always broken. Each time I phoned them, they said they would send me a new link, which they never did. I called them 12 times and emailed them. A few days before the final (10/29/21) concert date, a ticket city representative told me that they did not yet have tickets for me because "the seller hasn't yet purchased the tickets from Ticketmaster"! This was now 21 months after my purchase. When I phoned Ticket City on 10/28/21, the representative assured me that I would get a refund if I didn't receive the tickets for the concert the following day (which I never did: I received the same broken link that I had been receiving since February 2020.) When I called to get a refund a week after the concert, the representative said that I couldn't get a refund because they had sent me a link! Tickets for section 2, row 12, several days before the concert, were now selling on the Ticket City website for over $2500 a piece. I am requesting a full refund to my **** from Ticket City. Their CEO is *************************. A credit for future use is unacceptable. Dealing with Ticket City has been a long stressful nightmare. I believe it is likely they sold the seats that I purchased to someone else, 21 months after I purchased them, for a much higher "last minute" price. I am 75 years old: this concert was my "dream", and I won't have another chance now.

              You originally they were sent a *** transfer on 2/4/20 and then the event changed dates which was sent to the customer's email to notify them on the updated change, a new *** transfer was sent on 1/18/21 at 3:28PM and again the same day at 3:37PM, we tried to follow up again to make sure the customer had received their *********************** on 1/27/21 and initiated a re transfer request on 3/29/21 to try and get a new *** link. On 3/31/21 we sent a date/time change email to them since the event was postponed, we send a new *** transfer on 10/22/21 at 6:40PM and again at 6:41PM, last contact we had with the customer was on 11/15/21 when she called to tell us she was going for legal action, there are times that I excluded that she called but these are all the times when we resent her the *** link for her tickets. It sounds like there was an issue on accepting these tickets and we tried to help you troubleshoot with this many times. We wouldn't be able to refund you because the tickets were sent.
