I am a general Contractor and I hired these guys to remove and install some windows in a upscale home. The workers (without asking) used my tools (ladders, levels, hammers, etc,) They absolutley destroyed the drywall corners on the interior by giving ZERO care for the interior of the home. They broke a light on the exterior and didnt fix it or care to rectify the issue. The owner measured the windows and the new ones came in 1 inch shorter than the existing windows. The installers set the windows on the ledge, leaving a 1/2" gap of daylight between the ****** and new window at the top of the window. They expected me to caulk that 1/2 gap?! Worst of all, they left HUGE glass shards everywhere throught the home. I was specifically surprised they left glass in the little childrens bathtub! When confronted on these issues, the owner of the comapny called names and took ZERO responsibilty! I DO NLT reccommend hiring this company!

***** **** hired Protractor to install windows on a brick home. We too are general contractors in ***** since 2010 and our primaries have worked as GCs since ****. He hired ** since he did not have experience installing windows in a brick facade. In 2023 alone Protractor has replaced over 300 windows in the ****** area into brick, stucco and other various sidings without incident.

We did not use any of ***** ****s tools, our guys did use their exterior ladders that were already set up on site after receiving permission to do so.

Our bid specifically says that Protractor would not be responsible for any interior damages done while replacing the windows. It is common knowledge that there will be an extensive amount of damage when replacing windows on a brick home.  When replacing windows on a brick home  you go with the shorter length and width measurements since not all brick window openings are perfectly square, this leaves gaps which are later sealed as opposed to ending up with a window that is too large to fit into the brick opening.

There were absolutely no lights damaged during this project. Protractor did damage a shudder in the process of removing the windows and we offered to replace it, however, the homeowners decided to remove the shutters altogether.

The home was a construction zone and there were hazardous materials everywhere left by ***************** our crew did leave a few small pieces of glass smaller than a quarter that were documented and picked up before the family living in the home moved back in. ***** **** was responsible for the final clean.

You also failed to mention that you bounced a check on us for $10,450, twice. I attached a copy to show that it was NSF, not a stop payment.  We eventually had to go to the homeowner directly to get paid for this job. After the homeowner paid us, Protractor personally went to their home to thank them as well as giving  them a lien release for the work we completed and a warranty for our work.  We also gave them a blank lien release and encouraged them to get it completed by you.
