November 26,2022: booked/paid for a suite at the Country **************************** by ******** Austin North (************, **) ***** N IH35, Austin ***** for niece/husband as overload Thanksgiving guests. We got a suite because they said they were booked & that was all that was available (there were less than 12 cars there). My family arrived **** pm tired & needing rest. I previously spoke to them about previous reviews regarding dirty rooms/linens. They said all issues resolved. My niece said linens did not look good. Within ***************************** the walls & flooded their *************** They called staff & a guy asked them what they wanted him to do! They told him to shut water off! Pipes had green slime/mold/corrosion! The motel offered a room on 3rd floor but they refused not trusting elevator & were put in another room (no cleaner). They had no running water until 3:30 a.m. My family woke up early & left. She did not tell us until the next day as she did not want to upset us. After I heard I was ashamed/humiliated for booking at this facility. I was unable to talk to ******* the manager & dealt with corporate. These facilities are franchised so they are not owned by ******** (just use their name). Corporate is reimbursing me as they said the manager would not & gave my niece points. It took almost 2 weeks to get this accomplished! There are many motels in ************************** Do not book this one!
