****** the manager is terrible, unprofessional and downright rude. She has ruined our stay. Halfway through our stay or microwave broke. As we have all of our belongings in the room due to just moving here, we requested to not change rooms. She said she would get us a new microwave and we gave her our phone number to call before entering the room, due to all of our valuables being out and the fact that OUR DOOR DOES NOT FULLY SHUT on its own. We would prefer to be in the room if others enter. Well, She did NOT call before entering, proceeded to leave us a message accusing us of lying about the microwave and TOUCHED my VALUABLES AND PERSONAL BELONGINGS UNBEKNOWNST TO ME. I returned to the room horrified to see my jewelry and other personal belongings moved. I decided to let it slide as we only had about one week left in our stay. This morning I went to a yoga class for ONE HOUR and I come back to MY ROOM OPEN AND THINGS MOVED. We called the front desk to find out why there was somebody in our room that was not housekeeping? Turns out ****** decided to let herself in to do a security check. I feel disgusted, violated and hurt by this management and I believe this person should NOT be in charge. The front desk staff NEVER COMMUNICATES and weve been told different things by everyone. I am just so shocked, horrified and disappointed by the state of the staff and the hotel. I will never choose uptown suites as this doesnt feel like a home as advertised, but a place with sketchy activity and absolute invasion of privacy. I dont want a refund, I want an apology and explanation for this poor treatment. We offered to not continue our stay after the microwave broke to make it easier on them, but were forced to stay as they do not provide refunds. Poor service, scary people and disgusting management. Do better and actually take care of real problems such as what is happening 24/7 in the parking lot instead of doing security checks in our room.
