I listed an ************** for transport on Uship, A transporter for them bid on the shipment promising a 5 day transport. After the ********* ***** was picked up I couldnt get an answer when it would be delivered the date kept getting pushed forward everyday. It was apparent there was an Issue After 15 days I had to research the shipper and find the motors exact location and pick it up with a different shipping company, When The new shipper showed up to pick up the motor and what was left of the shipping crate was hidden in a corner behind other destroyed freight. The Manager signed the *** and noted heavy damage. I proceeded to file a claim with USHIP and within hours they denied my claim stating they do not insure what I shipped and bought insurance for. Now Uship is trying to push the claim off on the shipping company to cover it. That company is now avoiding all correspondences. The claim I am seeking for repairs is $5400.00 for an Item that has a value of ********* pics availableBusiness response

The customer purchased insurance at checkout for his shipment. All insurance is handled by a 3rd party insurance company Roanoke. Roanoke denied his claim, but uShip is not informed when or why claims or denied as this process is handled offsite. uShip refunded all fees associated with the shipment.Customer response

They continue to tell me they refunded the cost of insurance but I have not received anything for that, That is not how insurance works, If you dont like my claim just give my money back?
(If they in fact did send me a refund please provide proof)

The customer paid $191.25 to book the shipment no 5/1/2021. This included a $95 charge that the customer added on at checkout for insurance through a 3rd party company. The customer was refunded $191.25 on 6/7/2021 back to the original form of payment (see attached confirmation). ************* cost was refunded as a courtesy. Again, uShip has zero control over the 3rd party insurance company Roanoke and how they handle their claims. Any issues regarding the claim should be taken up with them.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:I did see the return of 191 as shown for the Uship and insurance charge, I accepted the insurance that was attached to my booking because it is the only insurance offered for my shipping, It was also paid directly to Uship and not to a third party.I also paid an additional $300 to ************************* at Priority One that has not been returned.I expect Priority one and Central transport to come to a conclusion to make my claim Whole.
